wow, so many people complaining about not owning a soldering iron, duuuuh
just twist the wires together and it will work as well
also you can just tie some solder where you need it and then melt it with a lighter
but the most important thing - insulate the wires or it will burn your usb ports

I'd tack on a small potentiometer somewhere to adjust brightness. Use two or three LEDs in parallel, with the static resistor to protect them from overcurrent, that circuit in series with the potentiometer...
Or just use two LEDs in series and they should be able to handle full USB voltage by themselves and put the pot in series with those to dim it.

its easy i might even make a vid just for you if u want/ the basics of it is just like a 10gauge wire and put that from the positive terminal of the battery to the power out on the amp(dont forget to put a fuse somewhere on that wire) then get another wire that is the same gauge and hook it up to the ground on the amp and put the other end on a bare metal part on your car(sand the paint off somewhere on your car, there sould be a screw somewhere on the bottom of your trunk lid.)

2:41 "Expose more of the black and red wires: shorten the black one to account for length of resistor, (which you can also trim down significantly), so that you don't have 2 leads of uneven length, thereby reducing stress on solder points and allowing for a more compact install. Don't forget a piece of heat shrink tubing over one of the leads."
