You don't know that Jesus didn't preach at age 4. The Bible tells us when He was 12, that he left His father (Joseph) and mother and went and preached around men who were very wise, but just because the Bible never mentions it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. It never tells us that Jesus used the bathroom, but we know because He was a human, that He did.

I was thinking the same as you. Yes, he can recite words that he has heard so often, and maybe even was made to remember. While I know some think this is cute, it's really not. At age 5, he has no idea the gravity of the words he is speaking. I pray that when he is older, he comprehends the words he spoke and still believes in them. As for asking this 5-year-old to "Preach," will have an adverse effect on those who are contemplating to convert to Christianity. I also think it makes a mockery of the necessity to be able to completely, wholeheartedly, make an informed decision on your acceptance of Christ as your Savior. Just a side note, I am so thankful I was rebaptized a few years ago. I felt like I was taking a stand in my beliefs, because I needed to, not my parents.Actually, was my first Baptism telling Jesus that he was my Savior, or that I believed Him to be my Savior AND that I would follow the Catholic teachings? Hmmm... I will have to check into that.

I'm appalled by most of the negative comments I'm reading. Look, the boy is clearly and primarily copying behavior he has learned from his father, possibly grandfather, and everyone else in his church. When I first saw this I started thinking, "Children of the Corn." lol. However, is it really wrong for this boy to have affection and capture the antics and traditions of those who love him? He's not being brainwashed towards anything negative. He's talking about Jesus. The boy clearly enjoys it and yes he's being encouraged. Better to be encouraged to do something one enjoys than being told "you're too young" or "stop it, you don't know any better."
On the flip side, we laugh and think its funny and awesome when little girls dance like their tv idols. I mean seriously very young girls who are not even in school yet begin flaunting their bodies because that's what they see on television, and we think that's awesome. (When I say "we" I mean society). Or the young boys who curse up a storm because that's what their idols do. We laugh at that. Obviously these young people are learning from tv, their parents, their idols/stars.... I think what this boy is doing is okay. It may not be ideal and there are better things he can be focused on at his young age - but sometimes a child starts early in his "calling" and path. Be more positive!

As I watched this I was weeping, as I remembered singing in front of the church at age 6. I did not stay with my calling, and went into the world for many years before coming back and being a worship leader in my 30's until today. Let this boy preach and keep encouraging him. Kids will mimic at early ages until maturity, when God begins to speak through them. Do not discourage him..children have much more purity than us adults...let God use him!

I remember Marjoe. His documentary was a confession of how he, as a child preacher and later in his 20s, duped the public out of their hard earned money. I remember another child preacher in the 50s who came to our church. He wore a cloak of many colors and preached much like the unfortunate kid in this video. Some of us kids played with him after the service. He would drop cuss words like a sailor. I wished I could remember his name.

G A Ur so disrespectful to talk to any young lady like that because I’m 52 years old and I remember when I was at the tender age of 2 years old raised in an environment where my Godmother who worked at a church and YES SIR when I was only 2years old and there was something about it that it felt so real when I heard the word of God being preached and wanted so much to be baptized that I was pulling on the bottom of her dress asking to be baptized. And after several attempts and being ignored because she was too busy being beaten nearly every nite by her cheating, alcoholic working husband and trying to raise 5 Kids who weren’t hers. Furthermore; to make a long story shorter, I’m overjoyed to say that today that I AM A BORN AGAIN HOLY SPIRIT FILLED WITH THE LOVE OF GOD IN MY ❤️HEART 4REAL in spite of being raised in such a terrible environment and exposure to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE at that age. I know that it is only because of THE WORD OF GOD THE BIBLE SAVED MY LIFE AS A TEENAGER I HEARD THE VOICE 🗣OF GOD speak to me that Sunday morning AND WENT INTO A CHURCH THAT DAY AND I finally GOT BAPTIZED THEN I STARTED READING THE BIBLE ALL THE TIME AND GOING TO CHURCH OFF AND ON AND IT NOT ONLY CHANGED MY LIFESTYLE😇BUT IT SAVED MY LIFE because I was Dangerously Badd life style at that time, everything happens for a reason, life is challenging sometimes but you can always 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾it doesn’t hurt to HAVE FAITH AND BEING OPTIMISTIC THAT THE WORD OF GOD WILL WORK FOR YOU...Because it CERTAINLY HAS FOR ME without a shadow of ANY DOUBT ABOUT THAT 👌🏼👌🏾👌🏼👌🏽👌NO MATTER WHAT THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN, ALL BLOOD 💉IS RED AND I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESES CHRIST OVER THIS WORLD AND ALL THE EVIL, BADD THINGS GOING ON IN IT, LIFE IS TOO SHORT, People are being killed everyday over Crazy, stupid stuff. Children are being KILLED,KIPNAPPED,RAPED, SOLD INTO THE SEX TRADE exposed to so much with the way the WWW🌎 IS TODAY, THANK GOD SOMEBODY IS TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN TO PRAY🙏🏿🙏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏✌️✌🏻✌🏼✌🏽✌🏾✌🏿

HEAVILY COACHED BY PARENTS. Wiping himself off with a handkerchief when he wasn't even sweating--due to coaching, money grubbing father. Leafing through a Bible but not reading the verse. Regardless, he will probably continue in this and grow up in fame.

I was the son of a preacher and at three or four I could preach but it was only mimicking what I watched my dad do. I was not preaching in church but when company came, I would start preaching. My mom realized it wasn't real and made me stop.
Haven't heard him preach a sermon. He is just repeating those preacher phrases that he must've heard his folks say. Not one single message from God here.
