There is reason why all big time elite programs recruit their Best HS Players, Bama, Clemson, Ohio St., Notre Dame, Oklahoma etc....Cali, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Georgia are considered Tier 1 States. A Superstar can be born anywhere, but those states are Galaxies, their are a bunch of stars.
When you got a multi-nationality team especially mixed in with some of the best Polynesians (Samoans, Tongans, Hawaiians) you bound to be a successful football team.

I think with a deep talent pool in your backyard, talent from neighboring pipeline states, excellent JUCO programs to recruit from and the prestigious Rose Bowl to host, that would be a solid draw to lure a quality coach. I’m also sure PAC12 schools have the same financial backing like a Texas, LSU or a FSU. I dunno, I’m just tired of the West coast getting left out of the Natty conversation when we got the kids right here to change that.

Now Southern Cal with Mater Dei & St. John Bosco. The south thought they had it with IMG but that match against Mater Dei proved other wise.
We have great coaching fine players, just can't figure out whats wrong with USC, UCLA, CAL, STANFORD.

Texas and Florida definitely can play but the talent level of multiple programs just in the Southern Section of California is much different. Now take The Trinity League just for one example 5 of the six schools currently ranked in the top 25 of California. The top 3 rank schools in California # 1 Mater Dei, # 2 St. John Bosco and # 3 Servite. Show me any league in any state that they can say that. Let’s talk about National rankings once again The Trinity League is top ranked and multiple California teams to represent. Until the other 49 states can say that , California is by far the best.
