    I believe that you are mistaken… Syrsky is known as “the butcher” by the Ukrainian soldiers because of his use of Soviet type doctrines of holding ground at all costs and conducting attacks head on into the teeth of the enemy forces irrespective of losses. He was the advocate of the defense of Bakhmut, and the offensives of 2022 and 2023 which while successful in taking territory have been so costly that the Ukrainians have never recovered and are in a weaker position overall.
    It is general Zalushny who advocated for a mobile defense with limited counterattacks. He opposed the defense of Bakhmut, Andiivka, and the offensives of 2022 and 2023 in an effort to preserve the Ukrainian combat power. The Ukrainian soldiers had enormous affection for Zalushny because they believed that he valued their lives and would not throw them away needlessly.
    I suspect that part of the reason why the Ukrainians are having trouble is due to a morale issue because of Syrsky’s leadership. The best thing Ukraine could do is to replace Zelenskyy with Zalushny as president.

      @TheBooban what? You're not making any sense bro. Cuz someone is fighting in their home country that means they can't withdraw to better lines? Do you know anything about military tactics? Also they had lots of weapons in the start NATO countries gave them more than half a trillion dollars in money and equipment, you're telling me they could not equip their army with that? They did not mobolize cuz it would have harmed zelensky popularity. And now they are doing the same just throwing their best brigades under fab 500 that's why their brigades started disobeying orders and retreating without orders.

    • @TheBooban
      @TheBooban Před měsícem +1

      @@moehassona6009 yes, they can withdraw. All the way to Kiev. Why do you think there are some “better” lines? I am implying every inch of home territory is valuable and worth fighting for. The Russians understood this. Which is why Bakhmut fell when everyone said it has no value. Every inch has to bleed the Russians for all it’s worth. Withdrawing is pointless. And Ukraine understands this too. It’s you who lack any strategic thought.
      And yes, they should have mobilized from the start. But at the time, they didn’t need to. Pointless now. Ukraine is doing all it can. But the truth is that it is losing.

    • @moehassona6009
      @moehassona6009 Před měsícem

      @TheBooban the Russians are able to replace their losses and they already have, could Ukraine do the same? A war of attrition was always going to favour the side with more resources. Today we see the results of battles like bakhmut, or other battles which have attrited the Ukrainian far more than the Russians and without Ukrainian mobisation and Russian ability to replace losses what did you think the result would be? You can throw your little remaining assets and have them basically become insuborodate and combat ineffective and destroyed or you can save your little well trained remaining men and pull them back to better more deffedable lines but zelensky won't do that cuz it would be bad for PR. He doesn't care about his troops and basically threw them into a meat grinder against and enemy with more resources and one which can replace its losses.Zelensky has no one to blame but himself
