NATO has suffered a number of setbacks in supporting Ukraine and should review the mechanisms for providing this assistance, Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told Reuters.
Among the biggest failures in the issue of support for Kiev, he cited the long delay in the approval by the US Congress of a new aid package and the fact that European NATO members provided Ukraine with much fewer artillery shells than promised.
Also second tier powers like France, Italy and Spain barely contributing should be pointed out more often. Shame on these freeloader countries. Together they have more people than Russia and several times the GDP.

But it makes no sense for Ukraine to divert the Russians North-West if they’re trying to reposition along the river because Russia has already advanced past the river so they can just flank around South, making the river useless as a defensive terrain

They’re only delaying the inevitable. NATO and the heads in Washington underestimated the Russian military industrial complex and their ability and skill in adapting to win wars of attrition. They have the manpower, resources and fortitude to wait out the West.
We'll see.
Won’t last as long as the recent war NATO lost in Afghanistan (20 years). The US military industrial complex will be lucky if they get 5 years worth of contracts out of this war.

I believe that you are mistaken… Syrsky is known as “the butcher” by the Ukrainian soldiers because of his use of Soviet type doctrines of holding ground at all costs and conducting attacks head on into the teeth of the enemy forces irrespective of losses. He was the advocate of the defense of Bakhmut, and the offensives of 2022 and 2023 which while successful in taking territory have been so costly that the Ukrainians have never recovered and are in a weaker position overall.
It is general Zalushny who advocated for a mobile defense with limited counterattacks. He opposed the defense of Bakhmut, Andiivka, and the offensives of 2022 and 2023 in an effort to preserve the Ukrainian combat power. The Ukrainian soldiers had enormous affection for Zalushny because they believed that he valued their lives and would not throw them away needlessly.
I suspect that part of the reason why the Ukrainians are having trouble is due to a morale issue because of Syrsky’s leadership. The best thing Ukraine could do is to replace Zelenskyy with Zalushny as president.

Interesting
Ukrainian command has a pretty healthy amount of blame because they wasted their best brigades in losing battles cuz they did not want to withdraw for PR reasons. They did not mobilise and corruption is allowing so much men to flee and they are not replacing them. Zelensky also fired his best general for political reasons
Withdraw? To where? They are in their home territory. Why mobilize if your soldiers don’t have ammo? Ukraine is doing the best they can. You certainly don’t know better to criticize generalissimo. And you know what? They used to be friends with Russians, didn’t mind them at all. Think about that.
@TheBooban what? You're not making any sense bro. Cuz someone is fighting in their home country that means they can't withdraw to better lines? Do you know anything about military tactics? Also they had lots of weapons in the start NATO countries gave them more than half a trillion dollars in money and equipment, you're telling me they could not equip their army with that? They did not mobolize cuz it would have harmed zelensky popularity. And now they are doing the same just throwing their best brigades under fab 500 that's why their brigades started disobeying orders and retreating without orders.
@@moehassona6009 yes, they can withdraw. All the way to Kiev. Why do you think there are some “better” lines? I am implying every inch of home territory is valuable and worth fighting for. The Russians understood this. Which is why Bakhmut fell when everyone said it has no value. Every inch has to bleed the Russians for all it’s worth. Withdrawing is pointless. And Ukraine understands this too. It’s you who lack any strategic thought.
And yes, they should have mobilized from the start. But at the time, they didn’t need to. Pointless now. Ukraine is doing all it can. But the truth is that it is losing.
@TheBooban the Russians are able to replace their losses and they already have, could Ukraine do the same? A war of attrition was always going to favour the side with more resources. Today we see the results of battles like bakhmut, or other battles which have attrited the Ukrainian far more than the Russians and without Ukrainian mobisation and Russian ability to replace losses what did you think the result would be? You can throw your little remaining assets and have them basically become insuborodate and combat ineffective and destroyed or you can save your little well trained remaining men and pull them back to better more deffedable lines but zelensky won't do that cuz it would be bad for PR. He doesn't care about his troops and basically threw them into a meat grinder against and enemy with more resources and one which can replace its losses.Zelensky has no one to blame but himself
More and more Ukrainians realize their government is their worst enemy after it started refusing them in basic human rights, unlike the aggressor. Not one wants to go fight Russians any more. The country without a will to win can only lose.

Ah yes. They cunningly "channeled" the Ruskies right along a major logistical artery leading to Pokrovsk... which also flanks from the north the next line of entrenchments at Novopokrovske. That's some real 5D chess.
That "logistical artery".... it is under complete Russian FIRE CONTROL. Russians have throttled-back the logistics all over eastern Ukraine. Not much makes it past the Dnieper to Ukraine's forces, bare essentials make it to the collapsing front-lines. Don't like it? Go to the eastern front in Ukraine and fight the Russians yourself. Why have someone else doing your dirty work??

What is the approximate timeline for the new military hardware to begin to reach the front lines?
I don’t see the Russians going north, at least in the spear tip of the advance.
It’s simple really the Ukraines messed up on the Avdivka advance, but also lack man power regardless of amo coming, in my opinion the us and Europe have been to slow every time in getting what they need, and Zelinsky has not understood and got the man power the army needs. 😊

According the Pentagon, Russian Electronic Warfare systems (EW) are so effective that out of a 100 ATACMS, launched by Ukraine, only 6 will reach their target.
Honest question - how are the Russians holding these open "empty" fields for days on end? Or is it that they are "projecting force" into those fields? Or are there actually Russians just chillin' out in the windbreaks where there is some cover/concealment?
