I am desperately waiting for my request for the usage of various bridge hands u and other professionals use. Like for example: a shot from the edge of the table one may hit cue under their palm or fingers and some still use the cue over the hand or between the thumb and index finger and also how calculate the distance between the cue ball and the bridge hand for the feathering of the cue.

I'm from Thailand, Can you teach me about how can i aiming object ball with side spin ( pleaseshow mark the green color point on cue ball and target ball to potting and compare wiht natural aim on cue ball center point line) please.

i would guess that stun shots throwing more is something to do with friction between the object ball and the cloth rather than contact time. though i dont know enough physics to speculate about how spin would affect kinetic (sliding) vs rolling friction, or how it would affect overcoming static friction between the object ball and the cloth

Impact throw is friction between the balls. For a stun shot the contact point on the cue ball is going 90° from the object ball contact point, therefore the friction will be 90° from the line and it will throw a lot, also visible by the rotation of the 10 ball because the force is applied at the edge of the ball. Top and bottom spin have the contact point going up or down so there is less force going sideways. Outside side spin makes the contact point go anywhere from less fast to stationary (relatively to object ball contact point) to going back so the throw is reduced and can be 0 or even go the other way if there is a lot of side. It doesn't cancel out the impact throw as 2 forces would, it reduces the only force.

Is contact time actually different? Because IIRC we have confirmed that contact time between cue tip and cue ball is always effectively zero, is the physics for 2 balls different? Either way, we know what it does to motion so the reason isn't so important.
I had never considered using bounce like that, brilliant.
Does power not also change throw?

Where did you find a dotted cue ball that is 2 1/16" (52.5mm)?
I see loads on Amazon, but they're all either too small (1 7/8"), used for an English pool table setup, or too large (2 1/4"), used for american pool. The ones I see that advertise as 2 1/16" usually have one star reviews that say that the product they received was american pool ball size.

Saluc makes a version of their Aramith Tournament Champion(ATC) ball sets that includes a spotted cue ball instead of a regular one, called the ATC Pro Cup. You can find the cue ball sold separately from the set as well; just search for "ATC Pro Cup cue ball".

@@explorernate I can't even see my own reply from a week ago but I am getting a notification because I previously replied to your comment... good job CZcams. What I tried to say previously before my comment vanished into the shadow realm was that Saluc/Aramith makes spotted cue balls and sells them in all the common sizes. If you look for "Super Aramith Pro Cup cue ball 52.5mm" you'll be able to find one. Exact same spotted cue ball that would be included in a tournament ball set for use in an official tournament.
