They hide her identity perfectly in the manga, what a shame that ppl could figure it out that easily in the Anime.
Because in the manga, after shooting Shaka, we saw her revealing herself immediately in front of Vegapunk without dragging it by her walking toward him😅
the orange boots being shown last episode should've been a dead give away. But even without that, the timing with how long it took S-Snake to come down after they fell is plenty as well.
People figured it right when shaka said that there is a traitor among them because york were never on panel when shit happened before the rebellion lol wdym?

@15:15 Bonney had mentioned when she turned Vegapunk into a baby that her powers weren't permanent on living things. So just like with all the babies and old people she has been accused of attacking, he turned back after it wore off most likely.
The eyebrow thing with Sanji is only noticeable because of his siblings, their eyebrow swirls were at the bottom neat their eyes but Sanjis was at the top of his brow, when he activates his Germa powers his brow switches to his siblings style.
Their eyebrows are supposed to be be a play on the Germa 66 logo 6 💀 9

In the manga, the mystery of the traitor was a bit more interesting than how it was implemented in the anime. Atlas was also speculated at the time because she had said that she could change her appearance after she was repaired. All the others were no longer an option after that.

Every vegapunk is a part of Stella. The Stella we see currently is him after he split parts of his personality
He probably cant give himself more authority than the others cuz they are all him so they are all equal. Stella is the main body but not the main mind
Or perhaps the reason he had so much trust in them is because they all are parts of him and he got too attached

York was my "sus" too because among the Vegapunks specifically the females with negative traits (Lilith = Evil, Atlas = Violence, York = Greed), only York did not give that kind of care to the people around her. Atlas gave Luffy and the others food, Lilith was so worried to Edison when he was attacked by S-Hawk, but York did not give that same kind of care when Pythagoras was attacked by S-Snake. Even Lilith rushed to check on him and York did not even change the look on her face

I did 6 years in the US Navy. The smartest job somebody could get was as a nuclear engineer, which we called nukes for short. But as smart as you had to be to get that job, they would routinely do the stupidest sh*t and mess stuff up that should've been SUPER simple because they have a bad tendencies to WAY overthink things. So we had a common phrase in the Navy whenever a sailor was given a (should be) simple job and they were struggling or overthinking things, we'd tell them "you're nuking it," or "stop nuking things." Basically it meant you were trying to think/work too much harder than you needed and making things harder than they should be when a "dumber" person could've easily handled this simple task.
That might've been an over-explanation but my point was it reminded me of my time in the Navy because it was relatively common to see the "smartest" people make the STUPIDEST mistakes... Vegapunk nuked it basically LOL

As for as the code names go the only ones that came to mind who would betray Stella would be Greed (York) or Evil (Lilith)
Here's the thing: *All the Vegapunks are equally as smart as the Stella* . They just have different emotions, personalities and different things to do. Stella is the main body and other Vegapunks have pieces stellas' cut off brain but they are still independent human beings and can choose what to share and what not to among themselves

I think Stella never thought that the satellites could ever have such an evil intention since they are all technically a part of him but the problem here is that he divided himself into specific roles. So, Lilith will come up with the most "evil" scheme and Shaka will only think about what's wise to do and they will have to work together to balance each other out but York is Vegapunk's greed and she is too greedy to work with the others and only think about herself. In Stella's mind, his wisdom would overrule his greed but York is mainly his greed without the wisdom

Every version of Vegapunk is a different part of his being. Not just his essence of good and evil, but even his philosophies and sins. York is his Greed set free, with every desire he holds plus those he would resist thanks to the better judgement of his other parts. She is his worst characteristic unchained with the sole purpose of serving her own selfish interests.

The thing about why Vegapunk (Stella) doesn't programmed the seraphims to fully obey him as the master creator is simply because he work for the world goverment, so all the development is under supervision of the WG. And if the question is why Vegapunk (Stella) is "afraid" to the WG despite has the ability to create the ultimate weapon (Seraphims)? You'll see why near in the future
