There is a slightly larger gap between the albums--the album was finished by 2020 but pandemic happened which canceled a planned tour so they switched gears and recored error but still had to sit on publishing it until they were able to tour and support it.

Imagine what fans went through coming from Error to Keep Me Fed. It wasn't a gentle transition, in a good way. David Bendeth produced Error, and seriously forced the ladies out of their comfort zone. They've repeatedly said that recording Error was a boot camp that made them better musicians. They relearned how to play together and it shows, not only on this album, but also Keep Me Fed.

You've earned yourselves a subscriber just to hear what you've got to say about QOTMS album written by a preteen and her teenage "older sisters"
To me that concept album is a masterpiece! Alright see you next week and greetings from Guadalajara Mexico. Viva The Warning cabrones!

Every The Warning album sounds different, and yet somewhat the same. If you REALLY want to understand this band, you need to learn their history. They started out as VERY little kids, learning classical piano. Rock Band, the video game, hooked them on rock (two of their songs would later appear on Rock Band IV). Pau started drumming at six. Dany started guitar at eight. Ale started bass at seven. They started playing covers together at 8, 11, and 13. At 9, 12, and 14, in 2014, their cover of *Enter Sandman* by Metallica went viral. It now has over 25.7 million hits on YT!
That sparked their career. Ellen DeGeneres put them on her show and with Target, gave them $30,000 to go to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, for the summer session in 2015. Their first EP, *Escape the Mind,* came out in Spring, 2015. It was a demo for Berklee, and was also their first experiment in song writing.
To audition for Berklee, The Warning played a full concert at Liceo de Monterrey (their private Catholic girls’ school) on June 8, 2015. It’s pretty amazing to see them play that well at 10, 12, and 15. Voices are not yet fully mature, but listen with headphones. They played several covers and several originals from *Escape the Mind,* about 42 minutes.
I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6.
Their first album was the crowd funded, independently released, 2017's *21st or XXI Century Blood.* It holds up amazingly well against all their other work. Their second album, crowd funded and independently released, 2018's *Queen of the Murder Scene,* is a masterpiece of a ROCK NOVEL. It's a story of a young girl's obsession with a love she cannot have, and her descent into murderous mayhem and tragedy. THE WARNING FULL LUNARIO CONCERT 2018 debut of that album is on their channel. It is dark, raw, real, a little rough, but emotional as hell. When you see them at 13, 16, and 18, playing like seasoned professionals, to an international audience, you know they'll be special for years to come.
The one show you *should not miss* is the 08/29/2022 Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (Mexico City) concert. The sound is high definition, it's in 4K, the lighting is spectacular, and the performances of 22 songs from their first three albums are sublime.

When you get to _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ google queen of the murder scene meaning and the top result should be my Google Doc with the song meanings. It's not always clear unless you have also seen their vlogs that drop some big clues.

Each album has a drastic evolution of sound. You have to digest each album with the comprehension of the experience the band and the crew had at the moment, because the beauty of The Warning is the journey shared publicly through the years. The Warning is like a 10 years system that has been evolving as a complete whole (band, staff, mentors, parents, etc). That’s why they call it The Warning Family. I strongly suggest you to watch the XXI Century Blood music video, you’ll notice the talent they had back in the days and then everything starts making sense. Here’s the cool thing, you can expect the next album will again blow even more minds.

Oh, btw, to experience the Error album at its best you need to watch the Teatro Metropolitan concert. The quality of sound, performance and their perfection on vocals and instruments will blow your head, 100% guaranteed.

  • @gabrielalbertocastillomarq6120

Error is a great album, the one which they were looking to capture their sound live. To enjoy it better look for the song versions of Teatro Metropolitan (2022). But to enjoy "Evolve" look for the VMA's 2023 version and prepare to be blown away
If you go for "Queen of the Murder Scene" Album i´ll recomend after the irst listen, you go to the Lunario concert (2018) where TW performed the album in order. It is great way to get the experience this rock novel

Thats why they record this new album, so it can appeal to younger generations. By the way, Error was ready by 2020 but due to covid it stayed on hold. I suggest you to check the complete Metropolitan Teather show they have in their channel that include Error songs + older bangers from previous records, you wont regret it is great.

  • @paulrowe006

They opened the Teatro Metropolitan show with Z, and Ale walking out on stage doing that bass line. It's on their channel and it's great. For context, Dany (the oldest) was 19ish when they finished Error and was turning 24 when they finished Keep Me Fed. Also KMF is the first album where they worked with other writers.

Awesome! Great job!!! Wait for their first two albums….. omg… specifically the second entire album Queen of the Murder Scene…. The whole album is a fictional novel they wrote as songs telling a story

Please treat yourself to one of The Warning's best live performances with Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMA awards. You need to experience Pau's command of the audience and her "Scream of Destruction".
Also, before you review QOTMS or XXI Century Blood - on your own - watch their "origin" video of Enter Sandman from 2014 ; then compare that to their rearranged version from the Metallica Blacklist album - from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert.

Thanks for your takes on The Warning album Error - and for putting in some real time listening to it multiple times! You'll note the differences between albums as you progress, you can tell the differences in their musicianship & artistry as they are also growing up from being kids. And, seems like it wasn't too hard to listen to The Warning over and over again, right??

Being 62 and growing up with traditional rock, Error hits on every level. I have very diverse tastes from Iron Maiden to Ministry, The Cure to DePeche Mode, R.E.M. to Sarah McGlauchlan, Linkin Park to Rise Against. Discovering The Warning two years ago opening up for Halestorm, going back and putiing on this record, every track was a Home Run. I am not a big lyric guy, (drummer at heart), but they just hit on point with their story telling or making a statement. This is definitely one of my top records ever, going back to my first record in 1973! Yet to point out, this record was written in 2019 & 2020. I like Keep me Fed and love quite a few songs, but it doesn't have the powerful statement's that Error does. Error is truly BRILLIANT!

  • @andgar923
    @andgar923 Před měsícem +1

Some songs in Error took me some time to love. But then, I got them. I loved Queen of the Murder Scene and I wanted them to go a more alternative rock and sound more modern. Error still has an old school sound to me, so I wasn’t in love initially. But part of their magic is in making classic rock elements sound fresh and modern. Like you folks, once I got past what I wanted and expected I really learned to love and appreciate this album.
Others have said it and I’ll repeat it, watch them LIVE. The studio recording doesn’t capture their energy.
If you are going back, start with the Twenty First Century Blood album, BUT watch the Dakota Bar performance!
    Again, they sound better live.
For Queen of the Murder Scene, watch the Lunario Concert. It’s what made me a fan even though I wasn’t really into that style since the early 90s.

Funny, Money is my LEAST favorite song on the album. Animosity is my fav!!! Also, Evolve, Martirio, Amour, Choke, 23 (all their ballads rock!). TW’s studio albums do not do them justice; they are best sounding LIVE! You must must (please if you can), watch and do a review/reaction on your podcast for the 2022 Teatro Met CDMX 2022 concert (as many commenters have already suggested to you) from them on their YT channel. In that concert they also play many songs from QOTMS (the studio version done when they were so young pales in comparison to the concert version of their songs from QOTMS). I promise you, you will be blown away by this concert and the songs from ERROR & QOTMS will make you love these songs when you may have not just from listening to the studio version. Love that you have discovered TW! Rock on!!!

I don’t mean to focus on their age but it must be something worth keeping top of mind of.
Their music alone is as good as most artists in their prime. But what makes them special is how young they were when they wrote their music. With that in mind it will be more clear on why they are special and unique.
And yeah their music is awesome of course.
