Corvette C3? Damn, my dream car. To bad I can't afford its roadtax. 5.7L goes for around 15k-16k MYR I think. Unless there's a special case for classic car.
There is a special road tax rate for classic cars in Malaysia (80% reduction for 25yr+, 90% reduction for 40yr+). However, only Malaysian nationals can apply for it. Foreigners have to pay the full road tax.

Walk around any kinda workshop neighborhood/Damansara heights at night/Publika on weekends and you'll find some gems here and there.
I send my car in to a workshop called Wing Yee Motor Automotive Services and the surrounding area is so full of finds that I went for a walk around the blocks dragging my girlfriend who was questioning her life decisions lol. 964 Porsches/ 993/ 930s, classic Mercs like W124/W126 etc, abandoned Aston Martins and Jaguars with models such as the V12 Vantage, DB9, list goes on lol

thats not a w126 v8 headlamp but it is a w126 american spec head lamp.
I’d be very careful buying there. In Malaysia most is not what it seems and 2nd hand car dealers along old Klang Road cannot be trusted as a general rule.
Having said that there are some pretty nice classic cars there. But I’d never buy from there.
There are a few exotic car dealers in KL, that are known and trusted, but you’d have to get introduced to be able to view their amazing cars.

There is a Dino GT4 with a build original engine. He change to oversize high comp aftermarket pistons, lighten oversize valves, fuel injected, iTB, COP with Haltech Elite 2500 tune to 100 octane pump gas running around daily in KL. ... Gud luck if u can locate it
if u see rare models, highly chances it was belonged to a Royal family in Malaysia… when he said Qatar n Saudi Royals, i dont think they ever had a RHD cars, unless it is belong to their Embassy in KL, for their King to use whenever they are in Malaysia..
So sad that BMW dont make front headlight/bumper design like they used to. Nowadays it's so ugly
