Prideful, narcissistic DA’s, detectives etc. refusing to admit they have done wrong- knowing full well what they did. There should be serious consequences- including prison time- when people of power intentionally falsify evidence! They have absolutely no business representing or enforcing any part of the justice system. Pure evil!!!
I sobbed when these innocent men were finally exonerated. So grateful that the day finally came for them! My heart still hurts though, for all that they lost.

I like Kelly Siegler, so when I saw her pop up here as the prosecutor to re-try Anthony Graves, I was heartbroken! How sucky that someone I admire played a part in this injustice. Minutes later, I was relieved….how courageous for Siegler to stand up and admit that Graves was innocent. I’m not giving her all the credit here, as there were tons of others (including Graves himself) who worked for the acquittal, but it’s always reassuring to see someone’s genuine integrity.

Alkie: I just wish I could change time.
I feel you buddy. I do. I've wished that myself, to go back and fix some choices I've made that impacted myself, my kids, others. To do the right thing, to see things the way I do now, and know what I know now, then. But the best and most we can do is to try our best to correct what can be fixed. To change what we CAN, and not focus on the rest. We can't unwind time, but we can make choices and do right, from here forth. By testifying in Lamar's defense, by telling the truth, he is doing his part. We all have to forgive ourselves and strive for truth and justice in the present and future. Lamar is owed so much from the judicial system and law enforcement above all.

At some point along the way, I believe each and every one of us has been treated unfairly. That’s why I have hope not in this world or system, but in what comes afterwards.
