HOW TO: Watercolor Splash Background (+ Calligraphy)

Hellooo! Today I am so excited to share to you how I do my backgrounds for my lettering. If you’ve been following my IG art account: @lalaloisey, I think you’ll notice that I always use this technique. It is so easy and fun to make! it also adds colors to my letters 💖
btw, I just noticed I had a typo for the word “highlighter” 😂 I’m so sorry, I edited this at 2AM so yea.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for my next video.

Awwe, thank you! you are too kind 🥺💖 Yes you can use cardstock as an alternate, but just spray a little water since cardstocks doesn't hold that much water unlike watercolor paper ☺️ Hope this helps!

Hi Sweety! Yes you can use markers and/or highlighters, just make sure you don't spray too much water so that the colors will still be vibrant. ☺️

Hi! yes, you can use any size paper. But I recommend using watercolor paper so that the colors can blend well ☺️

Hello! It may be because of the paper used, or you sprayed too little? ☺️ the results may change if the paper used is just bond paper since it doesn't blend the colors well, I highly suggest using watercolor paper. 🤗 or if you sprayed with just a little water the colors might not spread too. hehe hope this helps! 💕
