The inconsistency in the wiring comes from when you cut the cable in half for the longer pigtails. One side is going to be wired one way the other side is going to be the reverse. Otherwise good video.

You do know that led without ground isn’t bias on which is which hot v neutral

They are grounded......just plug the pigtail into one end and connect the ground wire. Three wire connectors are all grounded.

Sorry for the late reply; The long extension cables are flat, but the short 4-6" pigtails are round.
