Definitely do your research first! I’m a black woman and my laser hair removal treatments are going so well! I wish they had laser hair removal for darker skin when I was younger.
The science behind it should be researched alot more for people with tan to darker skin tones if you're thinking about it.

Because as stated in the video the technology was designed for lighter skin tones being that the hairs are easier to detect by the light rays

I am black, with lighter skin tone. I just got laser hair removal under my arms because a dark shadow appeared under my arms that I think formed due to shaving and applying deodorant after irritating my skin. My experience has been positive! The skin has lightened significantly since I no longer shave and is almost back to normal now. I went to Skin Spirit in Manhattan Beach, CA. This is very informative and I wish I had seen something like this sooner. I maybe would have gotten laser hair removal sooner but was scared to try it because of my tanned skin.
laser deff does not work on everyone, im a black woman with PCOS so maybe that changed my results. But i did laser for a year at my dermatologist office and nothing happened for me! lasered my legs, brazilian, and stomach and it’s like i did nothing at all! its expensive and really sucks to have paid as much as I did for no results.
She said it didn't hurt... I am so jealous!!! Mine hurts like there is no tomorrow!

Thérapie Clinic are amazing, I've had 6 sessions on my bikini and under arm and the results are insane!
