This is another song from my early days with the band - Djaelani, Strachan & Harvey. This is a new version which follows the original arrangement, but has added drums & strings. We wrote this song at my house in Whitehill, Hamilton. Yvonne always says it is one of her favourite songs from us.

Hi Bruce.. Lovely to hear from you my friend.. This is an old song from my wee band.. When we used to write together, most of the time we worked very fast.. This song was composed in a couple of hours.. We started with the one verse I had written and then the ideas just flew.. I am proud that a lot of our early songs still sound good.. @@PeterStrachanMusic I think it’s an amazing song and that would never change. I agree,when you are working with others there’s more of a competitive spark but sometimes when you are solo you don’t push as hard and say och I’ll do it tomorrow and stuff and then you put it off . Those guys were brilliant but it needed you to make it whole.. it all just clicked and was all meant to be, I think.
It’s a golden part of your musical legacy… and should never ever be forgotten.
