she's not professionally trained or anything, she's self taught for the most part, her early days were literally her putting foam into her closet and making her own studio. thats when she was like. 15 doing vocaloid covers. she's becoming a worldwide phenomenon and the fact she was the voice of film red gave her some CRAZY levels of exposure globally.
but the fact she can drop or raise her voice with like...no effort is insane. her vocal range is not HUMAN. and its not just that. without any training...she's learned how to use her voice in such unique ways, how to control things that most singers try to actively avoid as a weakness, and use them as her own strengths and style. and she's only 21. i am absolutely STOKED for her global tour and if she's anywhere in the US im booking a week off from work to go see her live. she's a real life Uta.
@@mwbwyatt Ikr! I often worry for her vocal cord because the way she sings sound so dangerous, if other singers tried to sing like her they would actually damage theirs. But she didn't seem to have any problem at all! It's like her vocal cord works differently than others. I would love to come to her concert, and I never felt like going to any concert for other artists that I like. Literally I only ever wanted to go to Aurora's concert before I know Ado.
I feel like by now she actually does have some vocal training but i might be thinking of a different singer. At the very least I do know that she has modelled her voice after a JP singer that she was a fan of

Welcome to Ado, arguably one of the best vocalists around, certainly my favorite. She is extremely talented with a really unique voice who doesn't write her own music and is purely a vocalist but works with talented artists to make great songs. She had no vocal training but has become such a massive star these past few years. Just her unique voice, vocal range, vocal agility, and how she puts real emotion into her voice is how I came to love her so much. Her 2 covers "Crime and Punishment" and "God-ish" are the 2 songs I always recommend to showcase her said vocal talent. But all her songs are great and worth listening to.

Yeah giga's insane production combined with ado's insane vocals is just perfect honestly. Giga has always had really good production value, no matter who he is producing for, and I feel like Ado is a level of vocal talent that we can only aspire to one day have.

Yes sir! Ado is indeed genius and easily one of my favourite artists. Important to note though that she is a vocalist, not a writer, and give credit where it is due :) This music is coming from two fantastic producers, Giga and Teddyloid who occasionally collaborate and create something special. The lyrics and their style were written by the one of a kind TOPHAMHAT-KYO who is one half of Fake-Type, and then all of that is taken through the stratosphere by the unreal vocal and dramatic talent of Ado. Every song from Ado tends to feel like a super group collaboration :)

Ado is one of my biggest discoveries this year. You should check out her song Odo and her songs from the film One Piece Film Red! Start with New Genesis and go from there! I also second everyone else who also suggested her cover of Crime and Punishment by Shiina Ringo.

At certain time and location, this song will be played in speakers, and the actors (zombies, vampires, possessed dolls, mythical creatures, etc.) will dance on the middle of roads like a parade while trying to scare/interact visitors. The center is the big stage where white female zombies and the vampires dance the same song there.
That's why you will see YT shorts from Japanese people there are some snippets of the dance with different dancing actors using this song.
