    Haha I can relate to the lack of lower back rounding ability. I was trying to teach a friend to deadlift and was showing him what not to do, but couldn't for the life of me make my lower back round. I guess that's a good thing though

    The first pull is a deadlift, so why would you start with the bar over your toes and not mid-foot? Thanks for the vids.

      Because it's not exactly like a deadlift

      Your shoulders are over the bar in a clean and behind the bar in a DL. Also your hips are lower in a clean! Also your grip is wider on the clean. And the bar goes over midfoot in the DL.
