Probably one of the better cruise videos I've seen. My first time on Vista this coming Halloween will be my 26th cruise. I just did the Horizon in March and loved it. I'm imagining the areas you missed are the areas you didn't use. Kids clubs, gym, Cloud 9 Spa, Skyride (which was introduced on Vista), Seafood Shack to name a few. But overall a great video that I can share with a few friends that have never cruised. Keep up the good work! 😊
We love the Vista. Been on her 11 times. From MIA then Galveston and booked from Port Canaveral this year. Rarely get off at ports. Always the Havana area.

When I sailed The Vista, it was only my 2nd cruise. Being so new to cruising, I couldn't fully enjoy all of her amenities, and I wouldn't mind sailing her again.

In THE WAREHOUSE my wife and I enjoy the Air Hockey, however my wife LOVES the VR machine.
Me and my dad went to Cozumel Mexico last November on the Mardi Gras. It was awesome, but it was also very hot.

That was a great tour! I've been on the Horizon and that has been my favorite ship so far and I'm scheduled to go on the Vista September 2024 and I know the Vista us going into drydock January of 2024 so I will be getting on a freshly touched up and refurbished ship so I'm very excited.
Went on her back in 2017. Was my first cruise. I just got off carnival celebration yesterday.
Just got off the breeze today, go on the Vista first time in August, and going on Jubilee in January. I never get off the ship in progreso , Cozumel, or costa maya. Great video and thanks for sharing this tour.
We were fortunate to be on the inaugural Vista cruise out of NYC in November 2016. Finally got to talk to John Heald, we talked about 20 minutes after he was convinced he was my cruise director in July 1993. This is my second favorite ship. WE actually like the Splendor slightly better. You did and EXCELLENT tour of the Vista! We had lunch at both Ji Ji's and Del Capitano. We like Ji Ji's better. MY wife's favorite place to eat is GUY'S burger however Blue Iguana is my go too PLACE FOR LUNCH. I always get my shrimp burrito on embarkment day. I have got it since 2014.

We've sailed the Breeze, Valor and Vista and the Vista is by far our favorite ship...we also had Havana on the Vista which of course helped edge out the other 2 but overall our experience on the Vista was top notch. Our next will probably be on the Dream...looking forward to that ship!!
do the Havana rooms cost more, i’m guessing they do, & how much if you don’t mind me asking???
@Andy Pitman Yes they do cost more...pretty substantial...we lucked out because our cruise kept getting postponed because of covid and they ended up upgrading us at no charge to the Havana Suites...I'm not sure what they go for now but if you can afford it, it's got nice perks!!

Most definitely Italian - Linguine noodles pasta spaghetti. Free Lunch. With Salad & Bread. I normally get a Soda Pass. I enjoy the sky bikes on the Horizon. So this is my first time on her sister ship Vista. I also enjoy the I-MAX THEATER ON DECK 6. New run movies. There's a price to it. But it's so worth it. Surround sound reclining seats.You have to get your popcorn on Ledo deck & take it down to Deck 6 movie.

We sailed on the Dream last week. Did not luke Galveston at all. We are used to Miami and Port Canaveral. Glad Vista is changing ports.
I miss the ca-ching of the coins. Carrying around our coins in big paper cups. Now it's so different. But also I miss the quarter slots. Most of them are dollar slots or more. Never got into penny slots or dime slots.

I can't answer some of your questions because I've never been on a cruise! Your video certainly has whet my appetite for one, though! That cruise ship looks spectacular, thanks to this video. I live on the East Coast, so I don't know if this cruise line is available to me money wise. I travel alone so the cost of a stateside room may be too expensive. Can't afford the price of double-occupancy being the only one paying for it. And that makes me sad because this looks like one of the best I've seen. Thanks for the tour. It's probably the only way for me to enjoy it.

We just got off the Vista on Saturday. A great cruise, a lot of people caught Coronavirus including myself.
At blue iguana , I do burritos bowel for breakfast, not greasy and all veggies some meat
I wish some of the newer ships at ji jis. The duck is delicious. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Had no idea the vista was similar to the horizon. I definitely will book the vista one day.
The Vista(Port Canaveral), Horizon (Miami) and Panorama (Los Angeles) are identical sister ships.
While I was at the movies on the Carnival Horizon I-max theater I saw candy sold there. But I didn't see the popcorn. I had to get my popcorn on the Ledo MOVIE UNDER THE SKY. At the Frog Bar they had the popcorn. They recently added butter and salt. I will be interested to see if they offer popcorn at the I-max theater on Deck 6 on the Vista. I remember when popcorn was free. But now it's a small price of $3.00 but it comes in a nice size popcorn box. I enjoyed the I-max theater. Yes I would do it again on a first run movie I would like to see. Or even a movie I enjoyed so much I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Example Aqua-Man 2. I actually saw Venom 2 in the I-max on board Horizon. But saw Venom 1 on Carnival Sunshine as movie under the stars on the Lido deck. I bought a movie blanket & stitched a patch on it.They are so soft.

i wish every Carnival ship had a skybox sports lounge.
FYI-if you have the cheers package, certain cocktails are doubles & they count as 1 drink…!!! We meet there before dinner every night, having 1 & then grabbing 1 to have with our dinner
The Skybox lounges are being replaced by the Heroes Lounge. Still the same sports bar, but now with a Military Veterans theme.

No mention of kids clubs, the elevators and how they work, no thrill theatre, or you have to check in for your time dining in a different area on this ship compared to others
Great video! You mentioned that Vista was going in drydock in Jan '24. We have a cruise scheduled for April 14, 2024 out of Port Canaveral. Will they be done by then? 😮

If they are dry docking in Jan-Feb 10, do they ever go over that date? We were planning a Feb 15th cruise.

First night bottle of wine is standard at every Steakhouse on every Carnival ship from any port.
can you enjoy deck 15 if you don't have a spa reservation?

Book a cruise to or from Panama Canal, usually includes Costa Rica. Or Google Costa Rica cruises and take your pick from there.
Why is the jogging track always counter-clockwise?
Because if everyone ran clockwise the ship would go in reverse.

I attempted twice to film in there, but the staff did not want me to do so. They advised that next time I visit on embarkation day.

Yes. Do a search for Carnival Vista Spa and there are plenty of videos for that.

I love Carnival but the Vista is by far the worst ship I've been on. Its basically tailored for gamblers. With that said, if you like being around smokers and wheel chairs this is your ship.

Every ship at sea is going to be like that, whether it's cruise, Navy, cargo, explorer, yacht or sailboat. That's what happens when you're in open waters.
