I’m 33 & had never been on a vacation til the summer of 2023. My family were blessed to take our first cruise together on Vista & we had an amazing time! I’ll always be very fond of this ship ❤

My first cruise was in 1983: on the Carnival Carnivale. It had a little over 850 guests and 400 crew It didn’t have any fancy pools, restaurants, etc. But it did have the midnight buffet. Those were the best, miss those

I really think carnival needs to update the look and deco on there ships. So outdated
I don't know about the other ships, but Vista is currently in renovation. What all are they focusing on? I don't know. I'll find out in March, though.

I will be cruising on 2/15. It’s the first sailing after being dry docked, so I really hope it is nice.
@@crystalsingleton8993 It's said to be Italian themed according to John Heald, the senior cruise director. They even changed the name from Vista to Firenze, which is a city in Italy.

Lol let me help. Pizzeria! The ONLY place open in the evening. Join the line wrapped around the ship to wait 45 minutes for a pizza because ALL three workers have to ALL stop the process, make more pizzas, then all wait for the pizzas to be done before running out again within 2 minutes. Blue Iguana! Here's a variety of salsas at the salsa bar but... we don't have chips here... Serenity Deck! Sit back and attempt to relax (if you're lucky enough to get any seat) while Pam is 4 margaritas deep trying to talk across an elderly couple to her 3rd cousin Misty 2 cabanas away about how much Crystal lost in the casino last night. Get yelled at by security every time you exit and enter the ship! They'll literally throw your bag in the machine and when your bag gets flipped and dumped upside down, they'll start acting nice and help put your belongings back together. Pretty tight security even though I smelled someone smoking weed two balconies below me every night. Guess the drug dogs just forgot? Listen to the long line of first time cruisers panic in a line because they forgot to bring a photo ID to get back on the ship. (I understand it's protocol but your first time, is stressful trying to remember minute details, especially after being used to being on a ship where the ONLY thing you need to carry is your room key card and anyone can miss the announcement to bring it restroom, screaming kids, screaming adults, etc.) Top your Vista cruise off by joining the relaxing line at the customer service desk and listen to everyone else's complaints. Don't ever get on a Carnival ship.
Maybe cruise ships aren’t for you, I went on the carnival cruise twice and had so much fun.
