"I'm a God fearin' man." If you have to say it, you're not.
Hiding behind the god excuse. Spot on sister
Exactly! He definitely took the key. He's arrogant with a quick temper out for premeditated retaliation. A bit of an overkill to me.
I wish JJ would have pressed him on that. I would have asked him, have you ever lied?
What does that even mean? I'm a perfect person?
This comment is so on point and true!!!!
Very Christian of him to steal the keys and not offer help. I'm sure Jesus would have done the same
Folks who require their “god” to sacrifice himself for their sins.. have great sins!!!
Jesus doesn't have a license you silly pants
@@adamfirst9321that’s…not how it works
@@adamfirst9321 Huh? Try rewording that into something intelligible. Then you can try being prejudiced.
Hahahhahahaha
Instead of being a jerk about it, he could have just helped and then let them know that road was blocked.
Exactly
That’s exactly what I was thinking! That’s how we do things in my neck of the cornfield!
But he’s a “God fearing man” 🤥
The guy KNEW the road was blocked or he could have gotten out in the first place. The Defendant WAS a jerk though.
@@Jade_902
Yes, he sure is. And right after church, when he’s in a big hurry to get home and have lunch, he’s flipping you and me off in the parking lot because “we” got in his way.
They should have got more than 14 bucks. The defendant was a jerk.
I agree. I wouldn't give the plaintiff the whole amount that they filed, but I do feel they should be entitled to some on account of inconvenience for the delivery.
She was more concerned with her own time being used than the lost time or wages of either party. Oh well
You can be a jerk in court and still win. It's about evidences and facts.
I agree
@@DamnitMan88 What does that have anything to do with this case? The plaintiff's were not jerks, the defendant was a jerk.
What a nasty defendant, he needs a job
Yes, he does. Right on his nose.
That whole park should be taken off of the delivery route and all their packages dropped at the post office. Then, the neighbors should make that “god fearing” troll do the postal package pick ups.
Great idea👍
He’d probably steal them. Or lay on the backseat for a month or more. He’s just vindictive enough to be that way.
My thoughts exactly, I'd want to refuse to go in there again, but then I suppose the wrong people are being punished. They need to find out where he lives and never deliver to him again. I think JJ gave them a little something just to show the 'God Fearing Man' that he behaved really badly, and in a very un-Christian manner. He obviously took that key and threw it somewhere knowing they'd never find it in the snow.
I grew up in a small southern town. The lesson you learned was, if you asked someone if they were a 'God fearing man', they would usually say yes. But, . . . If you were talking to someone, and they said they were a 'God fearing man' without you asking them that, . . . there would be doubts to be had.
God*
@@purplelove3666 You're right. I fixed it.
I live in the south too and I found that if folks walk around with the Bible in hand (at work) I RUN!!!!!
Same thing with anyone that says "trust me".
They’re the first ones to flip you off in the church parking lot every Sunday morning around 11:30A
In this case, I'm glad that they took him to court for $14, even if it's just to waste his time
I think they also sued him for the tow bill which JJ did not award. She should have given that too actually
Well I think she didn't award that as they couldn't guarantee one of their other vehicles would have pulled it out. However she gave the $14 to show 'God Fearing Man' that he was totally wrong and behaved horribly and now he lost. People who are as petty as him are the bane of existence.
Something tells me that their time is more valuable
A win is a win! And the way JJ chewed the defendant up is definitely a win!
The defendant walks out and the missing key falls out of his pocket 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
This never should have made it to court. The defendant is ridiculous, and shouldn't have made the whole situation so complicated. Taking the keys is criminal. I wish the police had pressed charges. But the plaintiff should have taken it as "lesson learned, we won't go that way again."
Simple fix to this, if the mobile homeowners or tenants want their mail or packages go to the post office and get them.
@randyvac01 That would be ridiculous. I would never live in a place that forbid deliveries.
@@bradycone It may sound ridiculous, but the landowner will be the one to take the blame for acting the way he did.
The police couldn't prove he took the key. They searched him but he didn't have it on him. If he took it he stashed it and nobody saw him do it apparently.
I'm not standing up for the defendant because I do think he took the keys. However, it is foolish to leave keys in your vehicle, especially if it it is running.
I don't like the cocky defendant.
He TOOK the key.
JJ is THE BOSS!🎉❤
AND she's absolutely Right! 👍🏽🎉❤
LOVE JJ FOREVER!🎉❤
This should have been in criminal court. He stole the keys. That’s essentially stealing a truck and holding them hostage.
A prick is always a prick! An accident is an accident. He was mean. It'll come back to him.
😂I’ll see y’all tomorrow. I’m done.😂
😂
😂😂😂
All the defendant had to do was to inform the driver of the change and politely ask that he not use that road again. He could have sent a letter to the business. Instead he chose to make a mountain out of a molehill and cause the truck to get stuck in the first place. He seems to have an anger management issue.
yea its all about communication! He should of just notified boy driver politely and ask to tell his boss and also write a letter to business in a nice way.
now if the driver goes on the road again.....atleast you got a written trail of how you handled in in a civil manner and how they responded!
then more action can be taken
And he’s rather arrogant. My favorite kind of people to deal with 😤
And somewhat of a control issue!🙄
“Righteous indignation” is written all over his face….Jerk!
Defendant seems like the kind of slumlord who owns cheap, run-down trailers and assaults tenants.
I’m sure the lady that called this useless guy has nothing else better to do than snoop on everyone. The right thing to do would have been to help, not make things worse for everyone. JJ should have compensated them for time lost due to this thief stealing the keys.
Will the real number one please stand up.😂
Jeez why didn't he just help them get it out. What a dirt bag.
Defendant: "I'm a God-fearing man"
Judge Judy: "Me too" 😂
Apparently this “God fearing man” was never taught the golden rule - “treat people the way you want to be treated”. A delivery man accidentally gets stuck in the snow and instead of offering any help, he yells at him to get off his property and steals his car keys. 🤨 I’m sure Jesus would be proud.
Good point. Clearly, that man has zero fear of God.
Jesus wept.
In JJs court-room nobody cares if you're "A God Fearing Man" or not. The only higher power you need to fear in this instance is JJ.
This ^^^^ 😂😂😂
This ^^^^😂😂😂
Oh yes 😂😂😂
Defendant barely put up a fight when he was accused of stealing the key. Clearly did it. What a loser.
Just don’t deliver packages to the complex anymore, and when customers ask why refer them to the manager/property owner as to why.
That man is Karen
K'Aaron
“Im a god fearing man” yet won’t help a guy stuck in the snow, stole from him and then went to court to lie about it. What a pos, hope this dude is having a bad day
sounds exactly like most god-fearing people I know actually
@@bridyyc Then they don't really fear God at all. They're cultural Christians. Very different from true Christians.
Leave The Creator out of your Shenanigans 🖐🏾
The defendant is a despicable man, but, as my mother always said, "a shortcut often leads to a long-cut."
He wants them off the property but takes the keys and prolongs the entire thing. Anyone watching this ... should never want to rent or have business dealings with him. You can tell the kind of person he is by a mile.
I had a coworker that couldn't get up a snowy hill try to turn around in someone's driveway and get stuck. The owner came up screaming about private property. People just need to care about each other more. It was like, 11 inches of very wet, slippery snow.
$14??? The inconvenience of it should be $1000! Lol
Very mean spirited defendant. Created needless difficulty for the driver and owner of the vehicle. We should all learn to help and not hinder others particularly when there was no intent to cause harm. Shame on the defendant.
He should of paid for the tow truck too
Lol at least we get a surprise ending.
-xD ... !-
$14 judgment?? 😂 I'm DONE
💯💯🤣🤣👍🏾
Why do I feel like the very Christian defendant was like "All this just for $14? Worth it! Will do it again."
No I think he'll be mad because she awarded that $14 just to show him amd everyone watching what a pos he really is. Now he can't say he was right! However he probably will behave like that again even with being told he was wrong by JJ. People like him don't change.
Wait, all this for $14? Wtf
They also get a nice hefty stipend for appearing on the show and a free hotel stay, so... 🤷🏼♂️
And a little verse of “Nanny nanny boo boo!”
@@Gaeilgeoir How much is the stipend?
So pathetic, coulda just helped them get unstuck and said don't do it again
lawd, who's on first, What's on second.. I don't know is on third???
Ok, figured it out: Part 1 unrelated, Part 2 is actually Part 3, and Part 3 is actually Part 2.
The solution is simple: Stop delivering anything to his "private property". I'm sure that will make his tenants very happy.
Hey I’d sue over five cents that 14 dollars hurt his pride
$14? 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes! I heard that too…surely she meant $1400? I thought they sued for the tow and key etc. guess we will never know.
@@karissakline6765 3:19 "$14 which it cost you to get a new key that he took"
@@karissakline6765There is a principle involved - not the $14! The jerk defendant could have be been just a little patient and then nit stolen the truck keys, which I’m sure he did as he was the only other person there! I hate when people pull the Christianity chat - he wasn’t being very Christian!
And a free trip to LA
God fearing?! HA! What kindness did he show in this situation? Ummm nothing. Go pray on it bro.
JJ all over the place on this one...suddenly at the end the driver was "wrong" for "taking a shortcut" on a road he's used a dozen times with no complaints lol.
Sometimes I think JJ does everything to give out the minimum bucks in her judgement. The man took a short cut, but for the snow on road (a natural cause) this accident would not have happpened even if the man took the short cut. Now, the defendant though he had a right to barricade his private property made the situation a whole lot worse for a person stuck in an accident. Who in their right mind is going to create further issues for a person that has a vehicle stuck on ice/snow etc. This cruel and destructive behaviour to cause distress and extra burden on the plaintiff should have been enough to award the plaintiff at least 500 bucks.
I give up🤷♂️🤦♂️😂
Just because his property is next to a road doesn’t mean it becomes his private road. I would turn him into the city. You can’t legally block a road you don’t own!
Defendant is a "god fearing" tuel!
He’ll get his due
People saying this law suit was frivolous. The thing is the defendant was a punk, he had to learn a lesson. I love to see it :)
The plaintiffs got screwed in this one.
I’m glad as a collective we’re all confused 🤣🤣. I guess we’ll try again tomorrow 😩
See you then! #JJLC
Maybe I’ll get here on time!
I’M A GOD FEARING MAN!
JJ: Me too.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a jerk!!
Was it drink or embarrassment that give the nasty defendant a red face?
It was JJ! She strikes again! ⚡️
“Holy communion” wine. 🤣🤣🤣
"I'm a god fearing man." Jesus took the keys 😂
I can't believe in this day and age there are vehicles that you can have a key made for without an original for only $14.
Mine cost 400$
@@shergirl92same. 🤣
All that for 14 bucks
What a jerk ! He had went that way many times
I believe the Defendant took the keys, I just don't understand WHY he did.
As JJ pointed out, everything the Defendant did seemed to prolong the truck being there. I don't even understand why he wouldn't let their truck pull them out unless he didn't have the confidence they could do so without causing more damage.
I feel like they should have received a little more than $14, maybe at least half back for making thier mistake but not being able to fix it.
And there it is. Had nothing to do with "cars being hit in the middle of the night". He just didn't want all the traffic cutting through "his private property" to get to Kroger. He should have just said that from the beginning. 😒
If the delivery company needs to blacklist an address - defendant is that reason.
who is running this channel ?
he looks guilty as hell
The Defendant kept saying private property private property. Well, delivery vehicles need to go on to private property to deliver people's packages. The defendant should get a real kick right in his private property. If you know what I mean.
"I'm a god fearing man" "trust me" "I'm a good person" 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Dang all that for $14. Lol
The reaction of the defendant when jj told him he took the key... It is wonderful that we can see through people with suggestive questioning 2:02
I don't even think he took the key maliciously at first it was more of what's going on but then the driver came back and might of had a few choice words so he kept it in spite
@@shergirl92 if he didn't take it maliciously he shouldn't lie about it and say he's a man of god
“I’m a God fearing man”. Yeah, right. Anybody who has to say that is covering up something.
Of course, I’m not totally sure WHAT he’s lying about due to the whack uploading schedule!
i fucking hate ppl who throw religon when theres no need.
When judge Judy asks how? That's a sign you should imimmediately run out of the courtroom.
Defendant is a male version of a Karen ! Why not just ask the guy not to do that anymore? As a school bus driver, I listened to people in the neighborhood and tried to be nice. Don’t people TALK anymore?
The defendant keeps claiming the land is private property. Yeah, but if I lived there, I would want my packages delivered. I have a feeling Mr. "God-Fearing Man" gets his jollies ruling his little fief and is an a-hole just for the kicks.
14.00 judgement 😅
I keep wondering if she meant $1400? I thought they sued for the tow too.
The person running this channel must currently be high on laundry detergent.
I wish I was high, but not on laundry detergent! 😂😂
😂
I believe that street was a right of way. It doesn't matter if it was private property. A right of way had been established so it cannot be closed off.
All that for $14 dayuuuum 😂
Why did the defendant even go to the scene! If a tenant called and told me that a truck was stuck in my RV park, I’d say “okay thanks for the update” and hang up and continue my day 😂
This case is so petty and ridiculous 🙄
Nope, JJ's judgment of $14 was petty. The plaintiffs were right to sue that 'God-fearing' louse who in all his Bible reading apparently never came across Jesus' parable of the good samaritan. God must be so ashamed to have these degenerates use his name for cover.
I'm so lost
We’re assuming nobody wins a prize today!🙂
Judge let the defendant off easy . . .$14 doesn't even cover the filing fees. IN ADDITION should have issued a hole tax of $1000 . . .to be paid OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET!!! BESIDES, "god fearing men" DO NOT behave like A$$HOLES, SIR.
Usually when you win in small claims court costs are automatically part of the judgement. Don't win, you pay your own fees. Get a judgement against you and you pay both parties fees. It is different to criminal court because fees are minimal. In criminal cases you have to motion to be awarded costs. This is because in criminal cases there is usually very large lawyers fees involved.
Watchin JJ is as fun as a rooster wit an itch at a champagne jamboree
All of that for 14$ 😳🤦🤣
Now I know that the movie Wrong Turn could happen. People become more selfish, unlike the old days. Rather than helping a stuck driver, they made a very simple case big. Don't they know that people often get lost while driving, or take the wrong turn, or need help with direction? The driver might've missed the signs and was trying to turn back. So what? Help! Why is it so hard to help?????
Good thing he recouped that 14 dollars.
“Big waste of my time” so was this case, for me, buddy 🙄
The defendant should’ve paid for the tow as well.
She should have granted them the tow fee and 3 hrs of time. Wrong judgement JJ 🙁
Why are we in Court over a $14 key?!?😂😂😂
$14.00 😂😂
I am always confused when a person says they are “God Fearing”. What does that mean? Does it mean that if the person lies or does a bad deed God will punish them?
all this for $14 lol
thats like star bucks for 2 ppl
I ❤ Judge Judy…….$15 for the Plaintiff.
And the truth be told is that they are both wrong. One for taking the shortcut and the other for blocking the road without putting the right signs ahead of warning people that the road was closed since it was open without being legally open.
This reminds me of when I was a kid & we sometime during the middle of the day, we had a heavy rain storm. Hail started to fall from the skies and being in those farm field with my cows, I only had about 40 minutes tops to get back in town or in some high ground that had a overhead cover to protect me and the cows from the hail that was falling down and from the flood that was to fallow!
As soon as the storm started I took my cows and started to head home. There were others kids and grown adults with their livestock in the fields that picked up and were trying to leave as fast as they could for the same reasons as I did.
Across the main highway, which at the time was a two way driving lane, was a field that was privately owned by a family who had a two children and one of them was 1 year older then I was. He let everyone go through but when my livestock got to cross the highway and went to his field, him and one of his friends cut the road off in person and were trying to direct my cows to go back to the highway and with that storm coming, whatever cars that were traveling were going to hit them and also the flooding was coming soon and that would have been no good!
I went up to them and started to argue and at the same time direct my cows to keep going forward since everyone else did before me, which were at least about ten people and over 60 livestocks that they had. At a certain point, the kids friend hit one of my cows, I think her name was Yllka/Star or maybe it was her mother and that’s where I lost it and with my Shepards stick swung twice at him. Both time aiming for the head, first one he blocked with his arm and got it broken and second time he got hit right on his dome and fell to the ground shaking.
The kid, who was his friend and whose family owned the field, started crying and started begging to not hit him or his friend no more.
AND I DID STOP, BUT TILL THIS DAY I WISH I HIT THE OTHER ONE AS WELL BECAUSE HE WAS THE CAUSE OF ALL THAT MESS AND HE DID IT ONLY TO MAKE MY LIFE MISERABLE AND CAUSE ME PAIN!
I did what I had to do because my life and the life of my livestock was in jeopardy, and to tell the truth… it wasn’t my life that I was much worried about but rather for the life of the cows. And if anything happened to them, even if I was fine, I couldn’t look at my Grandfather in the eyes and tell him that two bullies who were probably advised by grownups “wonder who could that have been?” to do so, injured or drowned/killed my cows because I could not cross the same field that everyone else did and had been doing all summer long.
Just the thought of looking my grandfather in his eyes was too hard and too much for me to bear.
SO, I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO TO KEEP IT MOVING FORWARD.
And what I did, got a kid one year older than me to go to the hospital where it should have been two, including the kid whose family owned the farm.
Now, in my example, the roles seem to be reversed in terms of injuries and damages!
If I had a case for injuries caused to me it would have not been against those two but rather against the “adults” who advised them to do so only to me but not to everyone else!
And if those two kids had a case against me, I would have hoped the judges decision was something in the lines off …..”I find you guilty for $15 dollars for damaging a field that everyone else had been crossing all summer long and did cross that day only because you gave it to one of them real good but the other one you let go only with begging where it should have been him who got it real good and not his bully friend but since they both tried to bully you for doing the same thing that everyone else was doing, you should have gave it to both of them equally!
So, for that you have to pay $15 dollars!
LOOK, I don’t see how blocking a road in middle of a harsh weather and in such were the conditions for this case only gives the defendant a $15 dollar fine. Blocking a road that everyone had been using for years probably in this case, without placing proper signs before getting to that point makes the defendant accountable only for $15 of damages?
Those signs should have been placed way in front of the entrance of property and along the way until to the illegal entrance of the store that was Jerry-Rigged/Barricaded with wood and tape so that way, whoever was using that road all this time illegally would have been informed way ahead of the closed illegal entrance which was widely used by others as well.
The defendant used the conditions of the weather to punish a certain party in particular only because “he all the sudden felt that it was his property and it was an illegal entrance that was no longer available to the public for use”
THIS MOVE BY THE DEFENDANT CAUSED MORE HARM THAN $15 & EVEN THOUGHT IT WAS HIS PROPERTY AND HE WAS IN RIGHT TO BLOCKING THAT ROAD AS ENTRANCE BUT NOT PLACING THE PROPER SIGN/DIRECTIONS CAUSED THE PLAINTIFF TO WASTE TIME AND MONEY WHICH EQUALS MORE THAN $15!
This evil ass hole got away with a slap on the rist kinda the same way the ass hole I had to deal with who got away only with a broken arm and a slap on his head which only caused him to shake.
So in conclusion, judge Judy and I were both wrong in rendering our decisions to the defendants. In both of our cases, they deserved a much harsher punishment!
Not sure why JJ didn’t give more if she found he stole the key, and that that act caused delay or business. Weird ruling.
The defendant is plain evil !
Nasty defendant. And Karma never forgets a face
Defendant is nuts!
I know these are years old, but hope they decided to not take deliveries there any more or charge a fee to do so.
Defendant:"clearly the signs were there even if they weren't in the picture."
Dude, they're your pictures!!
I have never seen Judge Judy allow litigants to walk up to the bench like that before.
Idk what state this happened in, but in Minnesota when we get stuck in the snow, ppl help push us out, no questions asked
The trailer park guy is such a ridiculous person.
