mongojerry72 Sadly, in a lot of states, belt fed or drum fed shotties are suuuuuuuper illegal. I'll stick with that 10 mag and call it a day :D
mongojerry72 Well I guess if you are ever in a situation where 30 rounds won't do it or even 12ga you're going to need belt-fed...in your case 12ga belt-fed.

I love dealing with Fostech. A true American dream come true. Family owned and operated and run right out of my great home state of Indiana! I dropped by their booth at the Knob Creek machine gun shoot a few weeks back and bought a stripped AR lower off of them for 45 bucks! My cousin bought a bumpski AR stock as well and fell in love immediately. These guys take pride in the work they do and it shows through every step of the process. I even got a call from one of the Foster family (can't remember who exactly, sorry!) from their shop to let me know the transfer on the lower had gone through.
I only wish they'd bring the prices on the Origin 12s down a little because I REALLY want one! But knowing the level of craftsmanship and precision machining that goes into these things, I can see why they're priced as high as they are.
I have an Origin 12 and I won't lie. It is awesome and a lot to shoot. I have been following its predecessor (AA-12) for years and couldn't wait for it to come to the U.S. I am still waiting for he 30 round drum to release so I can try it out.

They told me, very recently that it will now show up in January. If it shows up and is everything it's been advertised to be, I will remove my negative comments.
I've honestly been pretty irritated with FosTech and Alliance Armament (who they purchased the Origin design from). If they provided me with honest dates instead of continually pushing the delivery date back over the recent years, it would be different.

Eric Jesperson I was thinking the same thing about Eric when I saw him in the Cap & Ball video, he looks thinner.
I love my Saiga 12. Very soft-recoiling and very reliable. Fired 40 rounds of Rio Royal full-power #00 Buck with no discomfort. Then another day fired 30 rounds more. Not a hiccup, and no cleaning in between. A more evolved version would be even better, as long as it keeps its easy field stripping. That was one of my major gripes with American shotguns: they're not terribly easy to disassemble and work on. My Saiga can be disassembled in seconds with no tools.

If I had 2800 for a shotgun, it would be a Browning O/U 4 barrel skeet set! The cost of these black rifles is just...nuts.
They are a blast, but you pay a lot for the fun. Compare this to a Benelli M4 - more than double the cost against the gold standard of tactical shotguns. This isn't a dig against a well-engineered gun, BTW

5:00 Unbelievable Shots! Seems like this dude does not know there is something called Recoil. The way he shot those rounds in a row in a same target point.... Amazing!
2600$ is an insane price for what is essentially a novelty. Cmon gun manufacturers, start making stuff affordable for the little guy!!

For what your getting I can't blame them for the price . Just save and budget and you can do it in no time . if it has life time warranty, and comes with mags and conversion kit I'd pay 2600$

This shotgun looks like something out of a "Doom" videogame, looks monsterous!
Honestly, I like the design but not the execution, it's just too damn bulky. If I were them I'd use they system they already developed and trim down the chassis; then you'd have a viable product at a much lower price point. I don't think they'll sell many of these at $2500 a piece; not when Saigas are available for $1000. This thing costs as much as a tricked out race gun.

My first thought also was that it was too bulky and long. If they get rid of the folding stock hinge and have the buffer tube directly attached to the receiver it'll be shorter and lighter. The hinge looks robust which is good but it's like 2 inches long. Lol. That muzzle brake also should be changed bc it's too big.
+Peachy Keen When you trick out the VEPR-12 with everything it needs to run smooth you will be at the same kind of price and will not have the excellent ergonomics of this thing here. Also you can not adjust the gas system anywhere as easy as this. Anyone who says the VEPR-12 is self regulating, is simply lying, truth is, you just cant change the setting, the only thing you do is change the spring strength. So if you want the gun tricked out and properly running all kind of ammo you go with this gun here. If you want a cheap ass ak shotgun, go buy russian, but don't complain if you have tons of malfunctions with low brass.

ims0deranged I don't think you know what phishing means. The phishing warning just means that the site might be pretending to be another site, which doesn't really make much sense. Might be a false positive.
A common example of phsing are sites that *looks* like facebook and goad people into entering their login info because they think it's the real facebook site.

Until I saw this, I was of the opinion you couldn't do any better than an SMG for close in work.... I have amended my thinking. MY DEAR GOD THAT IS SO MUCH POWER. If you staggered buckshot and slugs in the mag I doubt anything on this earth could survive a full mag.

Hector Gil No. Although if you made some sort of bullet button for it, got rid of the folding stock adapter, and installed a fixed stock, then it would be legal.
PC 12276.1 (a) (6) defines an assault weapon (shotgun) as:
"A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following:(A)A folding or telescoping stock.(B)A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip.(7)A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine."

"In today's news, a British SAS team was smuggling an agent into Syria when up to 30 ISIS militants took them by surprise.

One brave solider armed with an Origin-12 shotgun stepped up emptied one full magazine as he dashed across open ground towards the ISIS hideout.
The British operator kicked open the door and showered bullets as he moved from room to room. Six ISIS militants were killed within minutes and another three had fled.
At least two other jihadis were killed in a separate shoot-out which allowed the SAS team and their agent to escape.
A source said: “It was a classic SAS encounter. They had lost the initiative when the ambush was sprung. They were out-gunned and out-numbered but the team remained calm and focused. The last thing the jihadis expected was to be attacked, given that the SAS team consisted of eight men and there were at least 30 enemy fighters. The SAS quickly regained the initiative by using courage, aggression and firepower.”
The SAS team safely broke free across the Syrian border into Iraq and returned to their headquarters.
It was one of the first times that Origin-12 - equipped with a silencer and lights - has been used in battle by the SAS.

SLUGS!!!!! Sweet gods of CZcams do a slug video of this gun. IMO they make a shotgun unstoppable out to 100 yards. Really looking forward to more of this gun.

That gun ran those low brass bird shots like a champ! Price point for a gun that's competing with the very popular Vepr and Saiga is what's going to kill them in sales since the 2 other guns can be had for around 1K each new. The Fury can be had for half the price of the other 2.
there is a small shop here in my home town that made these, i got to handle these before they were put into production, havy as hell but very interesting non the less

My biggest issue is the lack of 3" shell support. This is the same thing that hampered the SPAS-12 and several other shotguns that could have been great sellers.
Now. Fully auto with a high cap mag would be a LOT of fun!!!!!!!
