    Thanks for a good demo, Alexandre. I appreciate the fact that you didn't use a lot of effects so we could hear exactly what this guitar can do. I've had my eye on this guitar for several months as my possible next one. You're a good guitarist, and I enjoyed listening to you play. I hope we hear more from you.

    • @AlexandreFagundes
      @AlexandreFagundes  Před 2 měsíci

      Muito obrigado irmão! Elas variam bastante! Mas o padrão mais fino que eles tem seriam as que atendem a especificação que eles chamam de “60’s profile”, ou seja as LP de padrão de braço das dos anos 60, essas costumam ser mais finos que as de “50’s profile por exemplo. Aí existem também as que são Slim Taper ainda…que são mais achatadas na parte de trás. Tem pra todos os gostos. Abraço! ;)

      @@AlexandreFagundes my 2018 smokehouse burst came a bit different it seems, as mine came with white binding around my fretboard and my pickups are 57 Classic and 57 Classic plus . @@hogger88 I just bought two of them same guitar used to resell. My 2020 model pickups are great...not shrill at all....way warner than the BB pros I had on another Gibson that I hated. Three 2020 doesn't have neck binding and had 490/498 pickups. I am picking my other one up tomorrow that had neck binding and 57's. I can let you know if they sound any different after I have time to compare if you are interested?

      @@hogger88 I ended up not keeping the second one... but again the 490s are much warner than the BB pros I had on my other Gibson. My PRS Chris Robertson and 245 sound much warner than any Gibson les paul I've owned. They have bigger bodies which helps. Gibson sounds very good too... more focused tone.

      @@hogger88 Yes, they change the administration during this year, so the first semester of the 2018 it's different from the second. After that period they are all the same through 2019, 2020...without the binding and with the same features, but I think the binding adds a spark. :)

  • @dylan5683
    @dylan5683 Před 3 lety +5

    The 2018 studio has binding on the neck. It’s the only recent year that a studio has had binding. I’d know cause I own a 2018 les Paul studio in smokehouse burst. It has all the bells and whistles you’d want from a studio, while this video sounds great, this isn’t a 2018 studio.

    • @AlexandreFagundes
      @AlexandreFagundes  Před 3 lety

      Actually i don’t know if said it was a 2018…If i said let me know where so i can put some note in there…This is a 2019 Gibson Les Paul Studio in Smokehouse Burst, but it could be a 2018, because the early 2018 is different from the late 2018. That was exactly when they change their administration. This doesn’t happens nowadays because they don’t change the models from year to year anymore. Thanks for your comment. ;)

      @@ceelee5850 Hi friend, I understand your concern. I have made a review in Portuguese, this video it's just a sound demo. But even if I have made one in English too, it doesn't matter too much my opinion about the feel of the guitar, because this is the most subjective thing of all, I mean, even if I say it's good, if it's comfortable or not, my opinion in this matter might not be the same as yours. I've played in many guitars everybody said is awesome and I hated. So I can say about it's features (as you can see at the bottom of the video) and you can choose based on what you know about them, but in the end I can only demonstrate the tone. I hope this helps you get closer to finding the guitars that best suits your taste. Keep rocking ;)
