- Hello guys, welcome to my monthly updated travelling during coronavirus flight review! Today, I'm going to fly Qantas Airways from Townsville to Brisbane. This is my first ever Qantas flight since the pandemic began, I was really looking forward to it. How did it go? Let's find out in the video!

Beautiful view of Townsville
Greetings from a new subscriber! Another great video. The best way to see Townsville is as you're leaving it. I spent time living there a few years ago. I've found Qantas' service to be very hit and miss. Sometimes it's excellent, sometimes woeful (and it's not just economy class either). In the last decade I've tries where possible to choose the likes of Singapore or Emirates or Virgin for domestic flights. Yet to find an all round decent Australia-USA carrier.
It’s hard to find a decent trans pacific carrier cuz all the five-star carriers are in the Middle East and in Asia 😅

Theres Brown water coming out the taps now, last week or so. Oh yes it's turning laundry brown. Tonight the water pressure is down as well.
A very pleasant experience but I totally agree they cannot leave anything to chance no matter how short the turnaround in 2020.

Not sure I understand the QF boarding policy. Seating business class passengers before the rear of the aircraft so everyone walks past them. Prestige ahead of virus prevention protocols. Unclean aircraft, not good enough Qantas! Captivating video on take-off watching the aircraft's shadow & nice use of your channel's video to showoff the onboard wifi, I thought that was neat.

Qantas standards have definitely declined over the years and hygiene is one of them. I've just begun travelling again and before the pandemic I would fly four times a month for work. Most recently I flew late afternoon to Perth and half way through the flight I fell asleep. As the plane was not full I was seated by myself at the back of the plane, I awoke to another passenger trying to steal my laptop. I notified the cabin crew as one of them was on a break two rows behind me and he was more irritated that I disturbed him then some junky walking around the plane at night trying to take peoples belongings. They didn't do anything, they didn't even question him when the plane landed and he literally took off once he exited the plane.
I made a complaint to Qantas but I never heard anything back. If it wasn't my employers choice of carrier, I'd fly Virgin.
Sorry you had to endure Townsville. Didn't even know they had an airport.
I received an email from Townsville Airport after publishing this video
They wanted me to apply for a permit if I wanna film inside the terminal again so I guess this will be my last time using this airport :)

@@RoryDing No its the Tray Table but you wouldn`t think so. Its a fact the tray table most dirty thing on a aircraft.
Yeah that makes sense!
Those seat pockets must come a close second. I've seen tissues, old socks & of course heaps of rubbish. No excuse for the tray table to not be cleaned, it's a hard surface, relatively flat & easy enough to access.

Just a short turnaround time, only 40mins!!
Previous flight scheduled to arrive at 4:15pm and my flight was scheduled to depart at 4:55pm
I laugh at how airlines tried to be noble about turning off wifi, entertainment, and food options because of some kind of “health” excuse.
Of course, it’s patently false.
It was to reduce expenditure. There was never any health advise to do that.

I was disappointed you were so selfish not to wear a mask man. I liked you so much but that is strike two for me. You can’t talk about being in a pandemic then say you’re too good for a mask.
