How are you doing now? I started to play 3-4 weeks ago, got the season pass for ms marvel, did my ongoing deck and hit rank 150 with 8,6k cl (i have few series 3 cards, can t really use them yet as they r pretty random) but the game feels like it s only competitive in the top 200
@davidszabo4315 well the thing is there was an mmr issue so you probably won't rank that high in the upcoming seasons unless the meta shifts towards the older cards.
The free stuff they are handing out during this PC release have been top notch. A lot of resources and cool card art for free out there. Second Dinner did a good one this time

I'm fairly new... 754 CL. I feel like I've hit a plateau. I see other people at like +10k!!!! That's crazy! I feel like I'm doing all the right things but I keep running into players who just have "better" cards. I'll play 30 matches and win maybe 10-12 of those. Definitely going to stick with it and keep grinding on my dailies to keep climbing. Love your channel, Cozy! Keep the great content coming.
Just keep playing and you will get there. One day you'll get a card that will change the whole game for you and you'll find the play style that suits you best 💯
Let me tell you. Since you are quite new. No matter how good of a player one is, how good their deck is, the game will always keep your winrate around 50%. Which you are already seeing. Even the best of players and decks have 65% winrate at highest. Which means you will always lose 4-6 games out 10 no matter how many cards you have or how high your cl is. Sometimes you will enter a winning streak and win 10-12 games in a row. Following that you will have a losing streak. THE POINT IS LEARNING WHEN TO SNAP AND WHEN TO RETREAT. In this game cube rate is more important than win rate. You will gradually understand. For the mean time have fun and happy snapping 😉

I hate retreating because I usually want to see it play out but it does cost me. I need to be more aggressive about snapping, especially when I know I have the advantage. Thanks for the feedback!
@@brandonthompson1888 Well, sometimes staying might be more beneficial for you than retreating to learn the play pattern of different decks(also for the fun ). It will help you to learn how to pilot those decks and also help you learn to counter those decks in future when you see them again. What I said in the previous reply is important for climbing rank and reaching infinite. But if you don't care about rank much then don't be bothered by it. Play for fun that's all that matters. ❤️

I came back and it feels pretty good
I'm new to snap, i started playing last saturday (so almost a week ago) and i can say, the basic combos seem to be one of if not THE most important thing to understand while playing snap. I've personally just reached 90 in ranked after the reset with a colection level of 322 just by doing white tiger+odin combos😂. Now one important thing i've end up learning as a beginer is to not burn credits, buying at the shop isn't worth even for the 50 that they offer you the grey cards, also upgrading grey cards is more efficient than every other color, from green up to infinity are all equally efficient, and you want to try to do this so you can upgrade your card level which will end up unlocking you more cards to build a deck that makes sence. You also want to try to enter the game every day to do the daily missions at the very least and to rank up so you get the free credits that they give in ranks up to 70. Also playing ranked games affect your pass leevl which will end up giving you free rewards as you play. You also want to try to go to conquest mode and play to get medals that you can exchange for credits, gold, boosters and cosmetics and that will end up giving you an alternative art card once per season too. I think this is a sumary of my beginer journey so thank you kozy for the tips and I'll go back to the grind for 100 for teh free cosmetic

couple tips missing in this video that every new player might struggle to understand is what card pools are and how priority works. otherwise great video!

Check both players' names each turn. That tells you who reveals first on any given turn highlighted with a yellow border. I learned that the hard way trying to kill opp's cards with Elektra and failing 80% of the time. @@godfreykalumuna8187

@@LelandYarnell just the different groups of cards, pool1, 2, 3,4 and 5 easier cards to aquire at 123 and the more higher end harder cards to get are in 4 and 5
I wish someone talked to me about Spotlight cashes, cube management, and that a high CL like 1500 seems a lot, but it's not.

I remember when everyone made deck guides and made Series 1-3 versions of the deck when not everyone had all Series 3 cards. The struggle was real. This video brought back memories. Now I’m at 7K CL.
Even as an old player (it's good for a refresher in tips). Also this weekend I hit series 3 complete 🥳🥳🥳
My biggest piece of advice is infinite is near impossible focus on learning and collecting the cards. Watch shows like this to get decks started but then add your own spin on them to make them not predictable. Don't worry about being great fine out what works for you and a good way for you to play.
I'm currently on 950 Collection Level and I feel like I lose 8/10 matches. My opponents tend to have all the important Pool 3 cards while I am still forced to play Dino
It can be rough around that area. I remember. Stay the course friend it’s worth the effort.
Keep moving on. Do your dailies. Don't be stressed bcz of others. Trust me within 2 months you will be up there like everyone else. Look for Sera and surfer in pool 3 shop, pick them, you'll be a competitive snapper. A fellow from CL-4k+ 😉

fun story: couple of days ago, my steam account got hacked. it took steam support about 6 hours to fix this. however in the meantime, i had nothing to do. so i created a new account, looked for free to play games and found Snap, which i already wanted to try out. well, i got hooked, spent 20 bucks to boost my stuff and now im watching youtube videos to become better. im still tier 2 but my Infinaut deck is kickin ass left and right. im gonna stick to this game for sure.
Combat level 8'000 and I miss how fun these days were. Pools 1 and 2 - stay in them as long as you can everyone!

I'm a newbie in snap, only a couple of weeks into the game, currently at diamond rank 65 and i was wondering how does the pool system work? Do i have to get all pool 1 cards before i start getting pool 2 cards and then all pool 2 cards before i can get all pool 3 cards?

The chances of pulling a card are pretty low. It happens but after 1000, the rate from cache will be low. It’s a grind. That’s the fun

Advice to gamers:If you can play CONQUEST,you should do it.Keep a 5 decks,even if you can’t fill the decks.1 for destroying,1 for swapping cards to the other side,1 for discarding your cards,1 for protecting & 1 for moving.

I'm at 1400 collection, love the game... I'm having a hard time reaching infinite. Constantly bouncing around the 90s 😢 I got as high as 99 (0/7) just 1 8 cuber away lol man, it's tough.
That's when you just don't snap unless you absolutely know you're going to win. It's a grind but you can do it

i think this is the major problem with marvel snap. if you are a beginner, there is nooo way you gonna catch up with the cards if you are f2p. system basicly limits you 1 card per week and they release a new one. its even hard for players who pays money to accumulate cards. that why i cant convince my friends to play the game.
