Whats is the general feel you guys have for the new event?
Let me know if i missed any of the backpackers and i can add it to a google doc file if needed.
For a mobile game this is unreal. Usually updates are half assed garbage. They are absolutely killing it! We could use a really hype character for sure but other than that I think this is absolutely amazing.
no the patch is for the skill to not be lvl 4 is supposed to be lvl 3 so not a +15 weapon but a +10 weapon like all the others. someone put the text in the wrong place it was never supposed to be lvl 4
There's a Century Player located in a cave called Narrow Passage in Crimson Highlands 4 and its entrance is at (325,309) on the map.
@Volkin; With the new auto-collect feature, it's really easy to collect all the plants you seem to have skipped before. If you collect all the plants from all the maps (main quest + season) it should be VERY easy for you to increase the hero affinity for the event heroes by 1000, if you stopped at 1300 for all/most of the heroes. I raised most heroes' affinity to 3000 with all the plants and origami hamsters we got already. Winning a battle with a hero also gains them 2 affinity (up to a certain daily limit) and clicking on them grants you 6 affinity per day. So if you want to sweat the game and event really hard, just explore all the maps again. ;)

I dunno if it's just me but my Alsa feels like she's a little more reliable and doing more damage. When she's not facerushing into a Thoran ult.
well they did make the hitbox change, maybe something else slid in. intern added an extra 0 accidently lol

I agree, I like the rep quest. something to do each day and slowly earn stuff. it's chill. as long as they keep putting out more new events to do, it'll be fine. better than doing the same perm modes each day.
the first backpack i found was in a cave, so maybe in the areas that seem not to have any, could be inside a cave
Did we got any new side quests as I can‘t see any or find them on the Map? (I already have Clan Reputation started) but no side quests… 🤔

I don't know why they felt a need to change thoran's victory response? They totally changed his voice and even added in some new phrases. I liked his old voice, "bow to the king" much better than his current one 😂.

We still need an event to grind for gold. I am running out
i still havent unlocked the last bit of the map, but ive been picking every plant and I have all heroes at 1300 affinity, and had more than enough to give all the mission heroes +1000
Maybe part of the problem is the standard units are so damn good so the rate ups arent appealing unless they do some serious power creep. We also dont rly have any modes where we need more than 1-2 teams so even less need for heroes.
Which hero would you guys say is better overall for new accounts, Alsa or Shakir? Not sure who to wishlist after obtaining a copy of brutus. Watched volkin’s video on it and analytica tierlists and all, but still unsure😂 leaning towards Shakir to counter wilder arena teams rn
Alsa. Idh her but when I do get to use her on afk stages, they tend to outdamage all my dps units. As for Shakir, I have him only at L+ so he might start to get better after M+ but so far I haven't seen any stage or boss where he excels.
do we know why i dont have 2 of the 3 events ? maybe i need to level up more ? or proceed further with the main quest ?
you do have to complete the main quest to a certain point to unlock some of the event stuff

Not waste affinity stuff? Think I'm only missing like 5 heros and everyone is over 1.3k with a about half at 2k+ and a few at max while having over 100 gifts left.
why cant i see any of these events in my game yet ? its up to date as per playstore.
with what you said at around the 8:00 mark litterally all they need to add is a honor duel event, or litterally any incentive to play the game mode, as of right now theres no reason to play more then 15 wins every week, if they had litterally any other rewards i would love to grind the mode for them but im not gonna do it for nothing.
we need new kind of trial of abyss or more stages in old toa. it is the best resource place in entire game so far.
Can you release a guide for the treasure mini game, the one that requires you to place 3 beacons to locate the treasure, it's so damn annoying

The backpacker and the century player don't have an event page. Are they available the whole season then??

Phraesto's kit has no synergy with itself or anyone else. It is so sad see the other 4 starspawn units have specific playstyle/niches they carve out and exploit while john scorpo gets to just be mid.

I'm pretty much opposite to you. Release new characters as slow as possible and as mid as possible, otherwise it'll be harder and harder for f2p to stay somewhat relevant. AFK stages are so boring and useless, they should remove them (I know they won't) or at least make them less important. More unique content - yes, please! That's what keeps it interesting for me. Log in once in a while, do something not very repetitive (supreme arena and Dura's trial are good examples for me), some short events, and get AFK rewards based on story progress, not on AFK stages which take ages to grind through.

This update is disappointing ... 1,2gb and practically no content added ... you have one quest for 3 minutes per day and "mini games" for 10 minutes overall. You log into the game and after 5-10 minutes you have absolutely nothing to do. I see in my friends list how players are running away from this game. I'm starting to lose hope that something will appear here.
they should add a tower mode/afk stages where you have to play with other people to beat
Sadly I'm getting tired of the game already. Playing it slowly. It's toooooooo repetitive.
Im actually a huge fan of power creep, feel like they should add op characters every banner to get the whole community more hyped
that will just make the game EOS very soon, history has shown it happen. Getting a meta unit every now and then its good because it makes people pull, but every banner kills the game

The too much content shit is why i stopped playing genshin and star rail. I want a normal life, not one that revolves around having to do something constantly in a game... i have other interests too. Genshin used to have such a nice event schedule, with short breaks, but now it's event, after event, after event, just because streamers who play all day didn't have any interesting to show their audience. I can't stand the excuse "well you DON'T have to do EVERYTHING"... well then why is it in the game? So can miss it? No, we gamers are at fault by actually wanting stuff, that's not always good for us. Long story short, sometimes it actually is good to take some time of relaxing... and relax.

But the "then why is it in the game?" Part is totally bs. It's obviously there for the people who want more things to do in the game. Its better to have content for those people who want it. If you don't like the content/want to play it then don't. You have that option. That's just my opinion though
@@omeshpersaud4868 Well... i'm not denying that you are right. But sometimes having the Option, removes any other option. We all Strive to optimize anything to it's fullest. The moment the option is there, we will go for it. I do it, because it's there. In a way removing the option for myself. Else you get forced to spent Money (or even more money) because you lose all the primo-gems, crystals or whatever. So, losing "options" of when you are able to summon.
You can’t be optimal and play casually at the same time. It’s ok to be sub optimal if you’re playing for fun.
There's no way you quitted HSR because theres too much content, that game takes like 5-10 minutes a day max... if you don't wanna play games don't do it, like you're literally asking for less content because you don't have time for it or don't feel like playing everyday... how selfish is that?. Just have a normal life then and let people enjoy their games... there's games for people like you like Candy Crush.
@@Windsouls You are ignoring the canary in the coal mine, but it's ok be my guest. the 5-10 minutes is definetely not accurate and i'd invite you showing me proof of you needing only 10 minutes. I don't want less game content, i want only good game content. if you enjoy doing menial tasks just to get 60 primos every day for 5 years be my guest. Don't be the alcoholic who tells someone "you can stop anytime you want" and "you are just having fun". If you are not seeing the problem i am trying to put forward, i'm sure some will.
