- I’m back on it and reacting to the last few episodes I haven’t covered from ANTM British Invasion. Today I’m doing Episode 10 the acting challenge with Nicholas Tse!

I think Alisha and Annalise were by far the best in the challenge
I thought so too!! No one would have been mad if Alisha won.
Maybe Nicholas didn't chose the winner, maybe producers told him _"You better pick Laura",_ 'cause it was so obvious she didn't deliver that well, and he as an actor/singer/choreographer knew better than anyone she didn't BRING IT!... and it was going to create drama in the house.

Oh man. I went to Japan and while not treated badly, I was treated differently than all the other girls, even by other Americans in the group. So I was just on my own besides group activities. Once at a bar (I didn't go to bars alone) a native that started chatting up our table shook all the guys' hands and kissed the girls' hands, then he got to mine and shook it. Still one of the most puzzling and insulting things, even though I didn't want him kissing my hand, it felt he was signaling masculinity on me.

@@SabrinaRina You don't want him kissing your hand and you still get upset about it. Because all the other ladies' got a peck on their hands except your's. They probably didn't mind and didn't cared. Make up your mind whether you want it or not then. Ladies. Sometimes maybe the ethnicity isn't the problem. If there's one thing I noticed, whenever there's some problem or a perceived problem, black people love to play the race card. Not to say there aren't discrimination going on around the world particularly in the States. But blacks need to tone it down a little bit. Besides, the anti asian hate crime towards yeah Asians, in the States especially are committed by black people. Being racist yourselves while whining about being mistreated with it. Goddamm.

Runner Up: Eboni (The jacket saved her)
Middle: Laura (what's memorable)
Bottom: Alisha (many bobbles)
Eliminated: Sophie (she didn't try)

Eboni was not joking and her comment was disrespectful and could harm Laura's reputation. It's not the same to say that Laura would sleep with Nicholas because she finds him hot which is what both Sophie and Laura implied than saying that Laura sleeps her way to the top which implied that Laura has been sleeping around with people to get where she is. Laura was right to be mad.
I kinda agree, but I think reputation is also made by oneself. So Laura heard that comment because she seemed to have been sexual throughout the show, in my opinion.
No, I think it was very obviously a joke and Laura overreacted. Why didn't she get angry at Sophie?
@@JLDReactions I don't think so. If it was so obviously a joke why she said it so quietly? Why did she said it almost whispering. She was clearly bothered by Laura winning and they had a history of not liking each other. Sophie was Laura's closest friend on the show and Sophie's comment was more light and cheeky. Eboni's was judgmental and accusatory.

Nicholas Tse is a Hong Kong superstar but educated in Canada from high school to college then graduating, then returned to his country starting his showbiz career. 2005 movie New Police Story (originally named Police Story 5 based on Jackie Chan's most outstanding action-comedy franchise history since 1985, I recommend you to watched the first and second part because his stunt choreography it's been really kick-ass.) is one of my favorites because he's a co-star as Jackie's partner fighting against bad triads.

I can't believe Laura didn't even get the prize that is so upsetting but I don't think Laura did the best in the challenge. I thought Annaliese or Alisha was the best but I bet the producers had Laura be chosen just to start up more drama. It's nice to know all of these behind the scenes stuff. Thanks!

Sophie was best at acting though imo. I think flirting is ok when there is genuine -and ideally mutual - attraction. I think it's only bad when she would actually have no interest him but wants to get an advantage out of it.

Hi, have you watched the new movie 'raging fire' recently? I like it very much. Nicholas Tse has a very good performance in this movie. He is not only an excellent signer but also an amazing actor. btw, he is also an successful entrepreneur. Oh, OMG, he is a multitalented, super stars!

The weird thing about this challenge was that I felt like Anneliese was going to win with Alisha in a solid second and then.... Laura randomly won. And the editors included the confessionals all making fun of Laura's performance. It was really bizarre to watch live.

I think you did the best but the issue is that Nich gave a hint to the actual briefing of the contest in that what they wanted was sexy or flirtatious, which is what he emphasized when training Laura. Which while you did good a job wasn't sexy or flirtatious, it was more serious, so it definitely wasn't all that fair since the other girls didn't really think sexy or flirtatious in their delivery either aside Laura -- which you can see as well from their own interviews.
Unpopular opinion but I actually liked Laura’s the most. The modeling and facial angles thrown in were nice, Alisha and Annaliese were better at the fighting but they slightly messed up the last line “A girl’s got to have some secrets”
I would say messed up just ad-libbed slightly lol
I’m a Hong Konger and I remember watching this ten year ago 😂 It was fun seeing you guys feeling the Hong Kong vibe and doing the Kung Fu stuff. And Nicholas Tse was and still is very famous in Hong Kong 😆
And using your feminine charms is not a bad thing, if you got it use it. The drawback though, is not knowing if you booked something because you deserved it, or are a good model...or just because someone hopes to sleep with you. Depends on the girl, if she does not care about merit, then go for it.
Yeah it’s a tough one. Charm is charm when it come from a man or a woman.... it’s annoying that women get judged for using it.
@@MissAnnalieseDayes that’s so true. I use my charm in my work often as an archaeologist, but always back it up with my work and results. But I see the disparity between male/female behaviors doing the same thing. Keep fighting!

I saw this episode when it originally aired, It was my favorite well because I've been a Nic fan since he started his career. Of course I was totally jealous of ya'll for meeting Nic....*faint* lol

P.S. Laura was feeling guilty for her behavior/comments, in my opinion. She created that reputation.
I must say I cringed when I heard “karate chop” because it’s more Kung fu and not every Asian scene “karate chops”
Other than that, I think everyone did a great job in the screen test. I am a fan of Nicholas and think he is an amazing actor. I have watched most of his movies and his acting just gets better every year! So glad you guys get to work with him! So jealous too!!
Feels like producers was fishing for more drama here .. to pick the worst as the winner in the challenge and have laura come in 20 minutes later to have a fight against Eboni after that comment... kay ^^

I agree that Laura overreacted with her reaction with Eboni. I think her dislike for Eboni played into her reaction. Ive always said that back then I couldn’t stand Laura for her hostility towards certain girls and overt sexual persona. But I know Laura has changed over the years and has expressed regret for the way she treated girls on the show. And I think she’s a good fun person, especially after seeing your interview with her. As far as I’m concerned, Laura has completely redeemed herself.

Like, My sisters’ name and mine share one same word, but cause we’re born in different hospital, the translation make our English name different.
My older sister’s is “chi”, while me and my younger sister’s is “Tsz”, but they read the same.

When i watch this challenge ,.im 100% its Annaliese .,i was surprise that Laura won.,maybe bcoz she partnered with Nicholas..,got some points in that..but when we analyze the scene.,Annaliese did the most natural and believable take amo g them.

You won fair and square. I mean poor Laura it was not her fault that production handpicked her as the winner of the challenge, but Alisha was right to be mad, also Laura had some unfinished business with Eboni and she just went off against her.

Annaliese, you did THE BEST. You acted the part. Maybe the others pulled more flirtation or nice little moves (Ebony with the jacket was a good action move). But otherwise, it was you. Sad we can't get objective results. Laura was a bit klutzy and silly with the hair, while not the worst.
