did you go through the truck and check all the screws/hardware? I hear a lot of people saying to disassemble and reassemble using loctite where needed. I don't have a Fusion yet but just curious to see if you ran into any issues with loose screws etc.
Both are solid products (and I wonder if they are made in the same factory...). Treal - 62g - $42 Redcat - 144g - $35 I *think the Redcat is total weight vs the Treal single. That would put the Treal at 62x2=124g. Sooo - the Redcat weight more and cost less. Seems like an easy choice!
@@RoadsideRC , Do you think brass wheels, external and internal portal covers, and steering knuckles are too much for just the front? that's around 750g of extra weight to the front. should i lessen the weight or add brass to rear to even it out
@clasherroyale4957 My opinion is to never add weight to the rear - period. There is no need to even it out. I do not recommend adding excessive weight. Just a waste of $$. Start with some of the parts - see what the difference is. Then see if you think you need more.
@RoadsideRC thank you very much I got also yd2 and followed your advices did the swap servo and gyro swap and carbon body and all the same alignment you have suggested worked perfectly Next week will install xd10 pro and the brushless 10.5t hobbywing motor 🫶 Is there any maintaince need to be done to this kit ? Diff oil or shock ?

Finally got my Fusion fixed tonight. My 7 year old broke the carbon fiber frame about a week ago. Had it less than 48 hours. 😂😂

Nope! No issues.
Redcat suggests checking the pins in the front axles - but otherwise the truck has been solid.

Also check all driveshafts. I lost a pin from one of them. Just one wasn't loctite blessed

just curious, would both portal covers (stock 104g and 144g upgrade) fit on the rear axles as well? would you recommend putting brass on both portals?
100% do not recommend putting weight on the rear of a crawler. Keep it all down low - and on the front only. Leave the rear as light as possible!
