_The Impossible? Maze_ was torture. I could never beat it. _Kamek's Revenge_ wasn't any easier. Just difficult. Everything else was a cinch for me.
playing the maze feels like if you're trying to go through the endless stairs of mario64
I never find the maze THAT hard, I kinds enjoy the stage, maybe because it remembered me to a Zelda's dungeon xD the Kamek revenge was another story Dx

The Impossible? Maze is probably my favorite out of all the secret levels, it's not so nightmarishly stressful as the others. Kamek's Revenge, on the other hand... god, just thinking about the level gives me PTSD flashbacks to that godawful helicopter section. The controls are just SO bad.
More Monkey Madness and Kamek's Revange absolutely are the hardest stages in this game. This stages are made in hell.
The Impossible? Maze are the most anoying stage, alongside with The Long Looooong Cave.
But Castle's Masterpiece are the easiest extra stage, and the easiest World6 stage as well.
If you thought these were difficult, you should see what the secret levels in the GBA port are like!
Can u only get them on the gba port and not the switch?, I was wondering because my game doesn’t feel complete without the secret levels finished
@@filipd1986 Yup, those secret levels are exclusive to the GBA port.
I always felt like a king after beating these levels as a child.
And I always felt sad after seeing Poochy fall in the lava at the end of the first one, before seeing him jump back out.
Extra 4 is a Nightmare. I got it after about 50ish atempts.

The extra 4 was a kick in the balls. I remember it took me about 2 hours to clear it. The interesting thing was that without realizing it I cleared it 100%.

To be honest 100% completing this game was so exhausting. After getting 100 points on every level in every world I just didn't even bother with the extra levels.
I really don't believe I ever did these levels so I never unlocked them. I recently got the SNES classic mini so I have to do that eventually

Dang.. got ripped at thd first extra level ending.. i though you had the mini..
It's intentionally rigged to be impossible to get the bonus in the first extra, probably due to sprite issues with poochy
@@sysvjbjr ah.. that sucks that its rigged.. oh well its just a game lol
@@chopz5881 they could have alleviated the issue by putting a warp pipe to the exit like they do in Kamek's Revenge, but I find it more amusing that Poochy keeps running around after you finish the level

Haven't completed or been able to try the others

I finished 6 Bonus
Which is easier and a bit boring compared to other bonus levels
@@joshuabrunken3848 Poochie ain’t stupid is the only one I ever unlocked it was hard to beat. But Kameks revenge looks the hardest.

@@joshuabrunken3848Yeah the Castle one definitely looks the easiest The impossible Maze isn’t hard just your typical maze memory level the switch one doesn’t look difficult just gotta have good reaction time. Then the other 3 look legitimately hard. I think Monkey Hijinks is probably the easiest of the three then Poochy ain’t stupid and Kamek’s revenge hardest while I can’t say for sure since Poochy ain’t stupid is the only one I ever unlocked but it was super hard to beat. Took me tons of try’s before I finally beat it. But getting 100% on any of these levels?! Yeaaah. Let’s not go there lol…

extra-1 is so damm painfull-slow and u have to rely on a dumb ai :/, also if u lose u have to reapaet all the level...ughh, extra-2 is also a pain but is all the contrary of extra-1, u hvae to be really fast and u don't have chances to miss or u lose
