The masterpiece that is Grace was as much owed to Jeff Buckley as it was to all the other talented people that worked on it; the other writers, performers, producers and so many more.
This song is an idea of Jeff Buckley's; maybe even his first take. This recording experienced no post production that Jeff Buckley had any part in and I assure you if he wanted this idea released he would have recorded all the parts 10 times over again before he'd be happy.
Don't get me wrong, I think the musical idea behind it is fantastic but it's not finished; we can't just dig it up, come up with our own meaning for it and throw it out there. It's distasteful.
All I can say is, it's a tragedy we only have Grace, but I think it's partly because his music career was so short lived that it is so beautiful. Let's leave it at that.

Vous dites que c'est une tragédie que nous n'ayons que Grace. C'est vrai si l'on considère le travail effectué en post-production, c'est vrai si l'on considère que c'est le seul album qui a vraiment été "travaillé en profondeur et sur lequel il y a eu davantage de production.
En revanche, ce n'est plus vrai si on considère sa musique d'un point de vue purement artistique, émotionnel, donc plus subjectif (facture de l'écriture et/ou qualité de l'interprétation). Il existe un nombre impressionnant d'enregistrements Live, dont la plupart sont d'une qualité esthétique unique. Certains d'entre eux sont des bijoux captés ça et là à travers le monde, et je pense pour ma part qu'on y trouve des trésors d'interprétation. Ce sont des morceaux de collection à mettre au même niveau que l'album studio éponyme principal de l'artiste.

Why can't I find a video of Jeff Buckley singing this song? Like the one they show for a few seconds in this video? Does anyone know where I can find a video of Jeff actually singing and playing ?

Si vous voulez des images de cette chanson en particulier, il n'y en a pas à ma connaissance. Il n'existe que des versions audio, car il n'a jamais été filmé en train de chanter cette chanson. Comme des centaines d'autres reprises qu'il a faites, elles n'ont jamais été enregistrées et il fallait être présent à ces concerts pour les voir ou les entendre.
Jeff offrait ainsi à chacun de ses concerts des reprises inédites et spontanées, spécialement pour le public qui était devant lui, et selon son inspiration du jour.
Par conséquent, une énorme quantité de ses interprétations n'a jamais été enregistrée et ne le sera pas. Seuls restent ceux contenus dans les tiroirs de l'artiste via sa famille et les maisons de disque, et ceux réalisés par des anonymes dans les concerts. Mais ce chiffre évolue sans cesse. Depuis sa disparition je chine et collectionne les raretés de sa discographie, et vous le croirez si vous voulez, j'en découvre encore qui n'ont jamais été mis en ligne.

He accidentally drowned on May 29th, 1997 in the Flow River, Memphis (Tenn.). He was 30.
