Would have like to have more of the garden. A good walk around and more plants. Is the creek fenced off?
How great is Jamie. Have always loved his energy and give anything a go attitude. Looking forward to his new show. Oh also, beautiful home.
beautiful home
Not so sure about orchards or raised vegetable gardens or a tennis court down the bottom of the block. Flood zone right there.
@@SJ-ef4pv the house is quite higher than that lower terrace. If you take a look at the flood maps, lots of properties there are similarly affected (or, should I say, in the same boat). Developers. Always maximising their return.
Went for a drive by. If the house floods, then most of SE Qld is gone as well. So I wouldn’t sweat it.
@@johncronin7875 Not the house, it's way out of danger. The land is terraced and the lowest section (which is about half the block, IIRC from the maps) is at the same level as the tiny creek that feeds into Tallebudgera Creek. Council flood maps say there's a risk. They don't indicate if it has or has not flooded in the past, but I expect the locals would know.
The main way out (Tallebudgera road) very occasionally floods n during a combination of king tides and cyclone rain. Other than that it’s safe
@@mattdixon6396 Not saying it isn't safe, but Jamie's suggestion of building, for example, a tennis court on the lowest terrace should (imho) be taken under advisement.
first house ive seen that the address isn't given.. not that its not obvious. some suggest something went on here.
this is their best home by far so far, and the one before it was close as well... unoftunately the next one is a big drop in home and location..dissapointing. Mater finally became better consitantly with yourtown and edeavour not to mention rsl and rlsc . back to this standard please Mater. this one is perfect.
413 Oceana Drive Wurtulla.
I'm not impressed either.
Bamboo should be banned…it is a nuisance….it is invasive regardless of clumping or running….it blows everywhere including your gutters which blocks them and you have to pay to get them cleared..or in our case no thanks to the neighbours and the clumping bamboo..we had to have our down pipe severed flushed out from the roof and guttering and a new connector and pipe reattached. We where forever cleaning the top of the pool and water tank filter too. My father ended up with fibres on the lungs from breathing it in durability the westerly winds….We eventually had enough.. so we contacted the local council…they came out inspected, looked at my father’s Xrays…took photos and served a notice on the neighbour for growing hazardous vegetation and gave them 14 days to remove it…they had to pay 2 men for a whole day including the industrial muncher..cleaning of the footpath, road and gutter. …..Just give bamboo a wide berth..except in you Chinese meals..if you are that way inclined.
Sorry, I can never take Jamie seriously.
