Hey Trav, I'd recommend trying collagen if you haven't already. It's a flavourless powder that easily dissolves in hot drinks or soups. My dad broke his leg around 6 years ago, and his knees were so bad after that he couldn't walk without experiencing pain. He also couldn't play softball or goal anymore. He then heard about collagen on the internet and started slipping 2 scoops a day into his morning coffee while doing rehab. Within 6 months, he could now run and wasn't experiencing nearly as much pain. He also returned to softball and goal, and now he basically worships the stuff. I've tried it on occasion when I have an injury like a hip strain or groin tear, and it definitely makes a significant difference in recovery time.

About to step on the ice in goalie pads tonight for the 1st time in 3 years and about to hit 1 year since my last hip surgery. My left hip was done in April 2022 and my Right in July 2022. I got the Birmingham resurfacing specifically on both hips. If I can play again and feel comfortable, I need to figure out what gear to upgrade to from my current Brians Gnetiks 2, which is about 8 years old. I was looking at True maybe but it seems like there are quality issues going on. Maybe just go back to Brian's

I've walked into enough ice rinks in my life to know that the clinic you got your surgery done's front door looks like an ice rink.
