This was so helpful! Now I'm going to search through your videos to see if you have a more detailed tutorial of customizing the custom search results page. I get the set-up but my page is still displaying all posts from the blog instead of filtering based on the search keyword.
Hi there! So I used this method but it doesn't seem to be working...whenever I'm in the live site and I select the the category page I want to go to, it just takes me back to the main blog with "Page not found" but the url displays the category name I selected. I made sure the pages were set to custom and triple checked my slug...do you have any info on why it could be doing this? Thanks!
from your Wordpress site, go to posts/categories. For your particular category click view, which will take you to the page. From there once I was on the page I copied the URL and pasted it into Showit (click actions/ url etc) and it worked perfectly
