  • This production documents the story of a valued friend of mine, in his quest towards spirituality.
    Girold, a devout atheist for much of his life, has now found himself going down a path towards God. Though unlike many of whom the spark of faith is usually forged from scripture, Girold's story is one that is a little less.. unorthodox.. and exceptionally unwise.
    Today we shall both be telling this fascinating tale.. and why you definitely shouldn't follow in his footsteps. Entities inbound!

    Big props to Girold for his commentary on this one, and yes, almost every photo and video used here was taken by him on the ground (even North Korea).
    I find that DMT is a topic that annoys both the religious and atheists, but for two different reasons. The religious tend to hate it as it’s clearly satanic, whereas the atheists can’t stand it as such experiences are essentially a theist factory.
    Personally, DMT will always be one of the most fascinating mysteries of our time, and whatever it is, it is absolutely worthy of analysing such trips. As ultimately, whether they are external journeys or just mere internal hallucinations, there’s something very wrong with this, and I remain baffled the mainstream luddite would rather discuss things like Trump instead.
    Dark age.

    It's been 3 years since I tried DMT, can't find a plug anywhere in my area. Back then, We used one of those vaporizers with the big bags. The first time I didn't do enough and I just seen shapes and colours. But the second time I managed to get another hit in before I got the light headed. I remember floating above the country side flying and then all of a sudden I zoomed down into a deer and went right inside of it and I was the veins and the blood and flowing through this deers body. Strongly recommend just sticking to shrooms if you want an hallucinogenic experience. I was given “DMT" one time by someone I trusted (at the time) and it turned out too intense that the trip lasted for 24 hours. Can't really be sure what you're getting aside from shrooms. The jesters part really resonates in me. I haven’t taken Ayahuasca or DMT but I’ve done Acid many times. And every single time at one point I had this very strong feeling that the whole world was an illusion built around language. And I slowly became obsessed with that thought. Pretty difficult to explain since I don’t speak English fluently… but be careful when you take psychoactive drugs, those experiences were always incredible but they also made me very sick and depressed for a very long time. ✌️

      Had the same thing. The way I view it is that language is essentially higher thought in humans. Much of our intelligence is based on it, which is why people who are totally deprived of this suffer massive developmental delays despite good genetic health. Our ability to understand the world and express thought is highly dependent on language, so when this gets disturbed by psychedelic intoxication, we become afraid and and experience a sense of total collapse and purgatory. Never mind the time distortions and visual disturbances. To me, ego dissolution is a collapse of the perception that allows us to survive. It can be useful to break out of certain conditions, like depression where someone's perception is likely so damaged its needs a hard reset. For healthy people, I think the risk isn't worth the reward.

To that effect I'd really recommend anyone scrolling by here to check out the philosophy of Bernardo Kastrup--he poses some serious challenges against the reigning materialistic worldview of the atheistic community, and any theist who wants to better defend his beliefs against the secularist tide would benefit greatly from checking out the philosophy of analytic Idealism.

    I’ve wondered, in a philosophical sense, if psychedelics are unearned ways to have a spiritualistic connection that is considered unholy, where does that put dreams, which can be similar, but not quite as spiritualistic or insightful?
    Often, I’ve had strange dreams that felt like omens or deja vu. For something that effectively alters your consciousness, how different are dreams from that or say what people report as near death experiences? Even if I’d consider myself agnostic, this was a pretty thought provoking video.

    • @bro4539
      @bro4539 Před 2 měsíci

      Psychedelics strike me personally as not inherently good or bad, but just an amplifier or potential goodness or badness. Maybe you can gain insight and deepen your connection to good things, or you can tell yourself more potent lies and deepen you connection to evil things.
      My experience was kind of like a trip to a black pit during which I was forced to contemplate death more deeply than I realized was possible. I came out wiser and more focused but very shaken. I doubt I'll try again, and I'd reccomend against it for anyone who does not have a truly solid temperament and an honest connection to God.

      Where psychedelics are unearned but caused by the recipient, dreams are unearned and not caused by the recipient and so they have a very different spiritual value as far as whether they are wrong. Dreams are like a spiritual gift whereas psychedelics are like spiritual theft.

      @TheoCynical Před měsícem

      It depends. Stephen Bancarz tried to induce spiritual experiences via lucid dreaming and almost got sucked in by some shady figures.
      So yeah.
      But if those dreams are not forced then, I think it is indeed your brain working things out but I don't think it's out of the realm of God to use them for His glory and your benefit via sanctification (to liken yourself to share in God's righteousness)
      God had Joseph interpret dreams and he made God the catalyst for that interpretation.
      He was not trying to induce these dreams for himself but being a vessel for God's honor to the Pharaoh of the time; in other words for others; for God's glory & namesake.

    I mean these evil and deceitfull entities, its quite easy to understand where they come from.
    Its like when a child goes out alone in a city, there are people ill intended who woul want to deceive and manipulate the child, thats why parents say to their child "DONT TALK TO STRANGERS". So same with spiritual experiences. You're like a child new to that realm and you know nothing of it. Incapable of dicerning truth from lies. So they come and talk to you, lie to you, get friends with you, gain your trust, give you "candies" etc...
    Just like how some strangers would lie to child that they are their uncle so the child trust them, or say that its the child's mother who sent them... These entites also deceive and lie and manipulate. They will even act in front of you, like one can act like the bad guy and the other the good guy so you are more likely to trust at least one of them.
    Funny to see that people having these experiences usually just trust whatever they encouter and call them "good" as long as these beings tells them whatever "FEELS" right to them or make them experience some sort of peace or love or joy or acceptance. Next thing you know, these people give them their full trust and invite these beings in their life.
    Guys its just like how in nature, predators will often use deceitfull tactics to attract their prey. Be carefull, dont trust something just cause it looks good or feels good. Thats the spirit realm, these beings are wayyyy superior in terms of intellect so manipulating you or deceiving you isnt a hard thing. They can shape shift, make you feel things, tell you things only your mother knew about, tell some "secrets" that feel profound and enlighting etc... dont be deceive, they are liers and manipulators. Remember, a good lie is always mixed with lots of truth.

    IDK about these experiences people have about entities and how valid they are. Not saying they did not encounter them but at the same time, some people encounter religious imagery on their trips and in NDE stories that mostly center around Christian themes. I tend to lean towards believing in a more abstract spiritual realm so it's hard for me to accept the Abrahamic religious take on these experiences. I am mostly an agnostic but I do believe there is a spiritual aspect of humans and the universe.

  • @RwandaBob
    @RwandaBob Před 20 dny

    i’ve never had a spiritual appearance on psychedelics
    closest i got was on a bunch of acid joking to myself and my friend that the street lights outside were angels and drawing a bizarre self portrait before getting mcdonald’s which i never eat. on shrooms i mostly just saw my girlfriend at the time as a bunch of eyeballs and cried a lot and stared at grass outside
    psychedelics are not really that spectacular imo but ive only done acid and mushrooms and it’s been years since i did any since i stopped doing any drugs other than alcohol which im still trying to get over.
    i think people like rogan or people that have only done it once or just read about them romanticize them and treat them as a bigger deal than they really are. its just chemicals either lab made or natural making your brain play tricks on itself and it doesn’t really have any spiritual value.

    28:36 Music is forbidden in Islam because it is seen as a distraction from God and not because it’s seen as a cheap way to have a spiritual experience

  • @user-oj3di5lc7i
    @user-oj3di5lc7i Před 13 hodinami

    Very interesting.
    Your friend view on music is similar to how Islamic scholars reasoned the forbiddance of music, i quote from Ibn al-Qayyim: "They spent their lives in pleasure and enjoyment, and made their religion an amusement and diversion. The psalms of Satan (he means music here) are more beloved to them than listening to the surahs of the Qur’an. If someone of them heard the Qur’an from beginning to end, it would not move a single thing in him, nor would it disturb him in the slightest. Until, when he hears Satan’s Qur’an, a spring of emotion burst from his heart onto his eyes so he cries, onto his feet so he dance, onto his hands so he claps, onto all of his limbs, so he vibrate and rejoice, onto his exhalations, so they increase."
    Another interesting point is the balance between the extreme masculine and feminine sides. the prophet (PBUH) kissed his grandson while another man was sitting beside him. the other man said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them," the prophet (PBUH) cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully." this shows the necessity of balancing ourselves instead of extreme masculinity or femininity, rejecting a side completely only makes us immature humans.

    I've only smoked DMT one time and I won't get into the entire trip, but will only sum it up because I don't feel like writing a whole book report atm. I'd sum it up as utter chaos. It was overall an unpleasant experience, and even though I've done acid and shrooms 100 times before, this was different and I'd never experienced a ptsd response before then. The ptsd wasn't horrible, but in a few of my quiet alone times following the trip I'd start to re-experience some of the visions and made me uncomfortable but it never lasted long. I don't want to dissuade anybody from trying it, but acid and shrooms may be better for beginners. There is an entire reality living out right before us, but we don't have access to it. It's there all the time.

    I thought that the blue lady was very interesting. The idea that she was a sort of seductive and oppressive mother...but also, if she really was a demon, wouldn't she be a bit better at her job? Seems almost like she was a benevolent entity playing a role to get him to come to the conclusion - tempting him but being obvious enough about it that he would pick up on it and see what was going on.

This is essential to find purpose. You use logic and critical thinking to evaluate potential goals and values you can have. You listen to other dudes's arguments and pick the best ones. The most religious people I've met say they are atheists and agnostics. They're lying leftists.

      Remove the A and become a Gnostic. Even on a philosophical level it's way more interesting and fun. Plus you learn a lot about how symbolism affects the minds of people and novel ideas that were deemed heretic by the early Church. At some point in my life I was watching the stars and GOD revealed himself as if staring from my eyes and back into them from the Stars in some eternal loop as if infinity looked at itself and a small part of itself at the same time and GOD told me "I'm GOD, Master of the Universe" in the sense that I was a small insignificant being in the fabric of the Cosmos and even though I was a part of HIM I was just a small clump of matter with limited consciousness and perception and my actions and the actions of people on a small planet were nothing on a Cosmic scale. Yet GOD still cared to say Hello. It was awesome, terrifying and reassuring. Can't really link GOD to any human religious organization. I doubt that's even important to HIM in the Enigmatic Eternity of the Summa Essentia Veritatis

    Interesting video. I have been a Christian from a young age and do not really remember my life before having a personal relationship with Jesus. When older I saw a video of someone talking about their experience of tripping and having this spiritual experience and explaining it as a back door to God etc, then I knew that I would never be able to do that in any way. Watch the Third Adam documentaries- Especially Third Adam 2-it talks about the divine feminine and how that is the feminine demon/idol that was even worshipped in the old testament (mother of heaven, Semiramis) and the new testament (Diana the pagan goddess). It's the same spirit of Jezebel and even the current feminist agenda, so interesting to see it from a non-biblical reference, but still points to the same. Prayers for a continued journey to Truth, which is Jesus Christ, and prayers for salvation. The Holy Spirit will give wisdom and discernment and it won't be a sin to gain like in the knowledge and experience with this drug/others. His Word is a great way to start, read John, Genesis, and even watch videos by Mike Winger (on thinking biblically and how to find Jesus in the Old Testament), Michael S Heiser (on demons, andgels, and the divine counsel), and Les Feldick (on teaching Genesis to Revelation). Thanks for the video, have a blessed one.

    materialism is a idealism to, and so pure mental...or as other say spiritual ;P
    just kidding with the spirit part, but materialism isnt real realism, because if you go deep enough..you may not know that god is, but that we are (just) a part and expression of that is. even pure accidents become determined if any accident is a reality. so are aware on this path means, you are on this, with all of it, not by chance..but trough any possible chance. think about it.
    or take time..most people believe time begins with the big bang, but move we trough time, or does time move trough us? isnt the source there the water come from? time flows, time passes...so the direction how time flows should be clear isnt it? so it has to be, that times begins in the future..if you think logical.
    if time would come from the big bang, there would be more and more future while we stand in the same "distance" to the big bang, but we are not. so for short, the big bang is not the beginning but the outer end of "our" world. or in better words, our perception. we just dont get any data from it in any form. nothing means just we know, there is not this and that.but in this case we just dont know anything. think about this to.
    how can you stay pure material? does not make any sense other then on very short sight.

    As per usual, I have some disagreements, but this video also talked quite deeply to me. I've felt spiritual before and whilst I am of a scientific mind (I studied theoretical physics, I had to have one) I do feel like some coincidences in life aren't really coincidences and not from a purely logical standpoint but as a feeling. It was always fleeting, never a revelation or anything even close, but a snippet of something. But spiritual and religious aren't the same to me, close, but not the same. We might think there is something more when our mind is clouded by drugs, something many religions even forbid, but those experiences never turned me towards a specific religion. I've never felt a reason why the Abrahamic God needs to be the real one and other religions are just wrong. Religion still feels like a usage of human spirituality (regardless of its epistemological value, just purely emotionally) molded in a way so it makes a stable society and even then they fail at times in doing so.
    I am also a gay man, not trans, not exactly feminine as I like my masculine side albeit I don't work out as much as I want, but still try to because it's pretty easy to see the myriad of benefits of doing so, but I've never felt romantically or sexually attracted to women. I've had sex with men, it felt awesome, but it's not just the sex, it's the people themselves, they aren't hunks of meat, they are people in their own right and that only adds on to them. Some are more masculine, some are abit more feminine, but it's not that which truly matters or made me who I am, that is thinking in overly simple terms in a world that is oh so difficult to properly understand. And I see you are against that not from a bigoted point of view, you don't hate homosexuals, but religion expresses that it isn't correct.
    That is a whole can of worms I can go into and I still would love to see you make a production on that topic, but that is just me, doing work you want to do is all that matters.
    Last of all I want to mention that I am abit sad I can't take these halucigonens, I would never touch DMT, but I am scared of even abit of LSD, because I have a schizophrenic grandmother and I've seen how the disease can ruin your life and hallucinogens do have a risk of unlocking that. But I also would miss out on getting deeper and not fleeting spiritual experiences. I know of a person who tried it and is religious and more spiritual and I also want to feel that, atleast out of curiosity.
    I hope your channel never gets cancelled or taken down, because I have yet to find another youtuber with this type of content and I truly love your videos even with the gripes I've had with them.
