Was Sick Week 2024 the greatest in its three year history? Brett LaSala and the Snot Rocket Ford Mustang put Coyote power to the front and showed radial tires can hang! One of the most impressive performances ever in drag-and-drive. Jeff Lutz might not have been racing on day five but his return after seven years away from drag-and-drive was also deserving of accolades. As for the Durango, we got somewhere, not the seven yet, but we'll get there! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Kevin won the best driving award 🥇 KSR for the win 🏆
No kidding? Wow! Local team for me.
They should make awards for SICK Saves
should have included a new pair of boxers lmao
@@user-nf1cl7zj4x can be sick, sicker and sickest for first second and third. They’ll have to get down with the sickness to get one of those lol 😂
I 2nd sick saves
That Swedish Corvette is just absurdly violent.
YOU TAKE IT OUT MY MOUHT
Brett LaSala's Coyote Mustang is amazing.
Snot rocket is badass
Amazing how consistent 2.0 is !
I'm a chevy guy but there's no denying that's one fast ford, they have it figured out
You just gotta love ‘the little engine that could’,dragging these big blocks up the hill.
Brett LaSala and the Snot Rocket Ford Mustang put Coyote power to the front . 😎👍🇺🇸
High praise to your camera guy . He allways gets great shots of the races and always shows the time and speed of the runs. The other channels aren't consistent and miss the most important thing ... time and speed . DRAG RACEING ... THANKS CAMERA GUY ... THANKS TOM & ADEN
Talking about watered tires on the track, Kevin Smith should receive a consolation 🏆 for some *wild wet tires* - track driving - at 100’ish MPH
Either wildest ride or best save
I think it was the greatest save and sick week history
Sick Save award 👌
Literally sideways at 140 mph!
Insane save
Took my son to the last day Friday after work. All the racers and you tubers were very friendly and approachable. Brett’s run all week was amazing. This ish the first sick week we’ve been to but we will definitely be back. We may even enter our slow mustang into it next year. Thanks for hosting such a great event!
Kevin going full “Florida Man” on that pass! At least he kept the shiny side up!
What I love about the coverage for this event is that Bailey’s channel is not JUST Bailey’s stuff. We get an in depth look at so many other racers and get to see the struggles and the victories they have throughout the week. Can’t wait for next year! Looking forward to Sick Summer!
Dear Mr Sick, your event is now the preeminent drag and drive week, and in only three years. The drag & drive community is growing exponentially, even though this type of race has been around for many *many* years. What a great watch. Cannot wait to see next year. Y’all come back nah, ya hear?
That Snot Rocket is absolutely awesome... The consistency is amazing... What a crew.
Love hearing Alex talk about her experiences along with Jeff saying “you just need to add some more boost to it”more boost solves everything😂😂
Your CZcams channel is easier to watch than the live feed....no banners=better viewing. Great job keeping drag racing alive for the common folks!
I had a great time!
I only cruised along in my 67 Nova but it was still awesome!
Stefan's runs always look so violent.
Thanks for putting on the event and all the coverage. Currently way below freezing and snowing up here in Canada. Been watching every minute from my couch dreaming of racing my car again.
Not only is snot rocket a small tire car but its also a 302 ci v8 with the 10sp transmission. And the coyote has some aftermarket support but NOTHING like the LS so just think in the next 5 years what fords coyote platform will look like! It will be the first small block in the 5's
Just wait till someone figures out to put a ten speed behind an LS .
Snot rocket is a bad ass car and what it does with a factory block and heads and up to this point a factory crank is really impressive but that transmission is definitely not the 10speed has a M&m 3speed
Also John mihovets mustang has been 5.80 I think around 250 with 281ci mod motor
Congratulations !!! Thank you team Bailey family and friends for posting all the great videos on your CZcams channel.
Thank you Tom and your crew for putting on another incredible show and fortunately the Durango survived the week! Hats off to Kevin for some amazing driving keeping Soccer Mom off of the wall. The Snot Rocket quickly became one of my favorites out there and congrats for an amazing finish!🍻
Cannot wait for sick summer...we'll be there!
Wow! Thank God Kevin was ok and the car was ok! Experience definitely helped in that situation! I'll definitely be re-torquing my heads as well!!
Wanted to say thank you for not copyright striking other channels, got to see most of what I wanted to see without your PPV.
Can't copyright strike other people filming. Copyright would be other people rebroadcasting what Tom Bailey filmed (or hus guys) or what was on the ppv.
@@ClimptonDiddlehopper Well never messed with that end of youtube, never had content to provide, so never read the rules. Appreciate the clarification. But it was his event, so it wouldn't have surprised me if it happened
Lovely way to end the video Mr Bailey, thank you so much for your coverage, best event I've seen in a very very long time. Best wishes from the UK
Finally something besides the yellow car 👍 glad to see some of the other cars. Congrats to all the finishers and winners.
I appreciate so much that you give God the credit for a amazing day. Keep up the good work Tom! You have the best drag racing event ever! The NRHA could learn some stuff from you! God bless!
Thanks a lot, for YOUR efforts,,,, We can watch from Canada, in our snow. Merci !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom, Thanks for the event & the great daily coverage!
I watched everyday, all 5 days.
Great event.
Congratulations on your success
Tom and his team thanks for your coverage of Sick week.
Been glued to your coverage watching from over the pond in the UK. Congrats on finishing Sick week this year.
Goldstone 6.51 @ 223 AVG.
Taylor 6.97 @ 209 AVG.
the pro mods need coyotah and small tire swap
In this world of "LS" its great to see a coyote take it!!!
Great videos throughout the event! Bravo! Great driving Kevin and Chad!
Tom I have to thank you for your time and hard work this week 👍. It's been a fun ride along with All the drivers and crew. Much love and respect Sir. Have a safe trip home!!!
Tom! Thanks for another great video!! Thanks for sharing this experience!! Drive safe brother 🙏🏻 😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Congratulations on finishing Sick Week!!! Big thank you for Uploading to your CZcams Chanel and then between 1320's Chanel, Steve Morris, and a couple more Channels I got all the action I had time to watch. Cant wait to see what everyone does next.
Thank you Tom and the Crew for putting together this amazing event and for recording and streaming it so us that can't be there still feel apart of it and get to enjoy it ❤
What a great week of racing.. Thanks to all the racers/crews that make this happen. Sick Summer can't get here soon enough.
Thank you tom......the winner is allways the spectator $$$$$...
Super event, great coverage all week. Got down to see one day at SGMP and now I want to do Sick Ward next year, and maybe enter the Dial Your Own class in 2026. All the best to the Sick Competitors, you're all awesome just to survive!
Congratulations to all the winners and competitors that finished.
loved watching the whole week. Great vids
I used to have a leaf vacuum, was sears brand. My dad bought new probably 30 years ago it finally took a crap. Miss that rig.
Congratulations Tom on finishing. Thank you for all the videos. I spoke to you last year during drag week. You are a very nice guy to just walk up and talk to. Hopefully this summer ill running routes with everyone in my truck.
Thanks for the Awesome show!! To bad you had a hard time getting the Durango to hook up!! Can't wait for Sick summer!! Hoping to do sick ward and follow along this year!!
That save by Kevin was absolutely insane, drove the heck out of it to save it. Thanks for the great coverage this week, was a blast to follow along! Hope to cruise along in person at one of these events sometime soon!
first time i followed drag & drive event. got the sick magazine last week. thanks tom for all the coverage. awesome cars, and i have the most respect for guys at your events. to drive 1000 miles race at 4 different tracks and make it the whole week, THATS A STREET CAR. green mustang is very impressive. going to try and make one of your events. GREAT JOB SICK WEEK CREW
Thanks for sharing loved it
That gold gen 2 Corvette is sweet and went straight as string every track all week. Good Job.
Another great one ❤ llive for this.
Awesome week for Brett. First ever Ford to win overall, as far as I'm aware, and third quickest average ever for a drag-and-drive. 300-ish cubic inches, factory body lines, factory block and head castings, 28-inch radials. Just wild.
I wish I was financially able to build a drag car and take my dad on one of these events. One day i hope 🙏
The longest smokey Bushmaster burnout goes to Cleeter. Congratulations to Brett LaSala, You are one hell of a great Champion. You have to be good at a lot of things to do what you DID. You did it #1. Awesome 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁 You won are hearts too Amigo!!!
I love how this channel shows other people racing and their times as well. Like it's not all about them u know. But keep up the great work and hell of a job on the content. Much love from Maryland❤❤❤
Another great event and videos guys 👍👍
First time seeing a drag race… new favourite thing so cool
Great job Tom!!!
Thank you!! Been following you , all week, on this channel.
I’ve heard your name often from SME.
From his videos.
I’m a huge SME fan, from Muskegon! Like he is.
Thanks Tom!!
I’ve been to every one but I’m lucky to live near Orlando. Always a great show.
Than you for the video.
Congrats on finishing Tom.
Will we see RVW car next year now that track prep is better ? Hopefully the prizes stay as helmets and guitars. If that ever changes to good $$ the unlimited class will be crazy.
Killer killer killer Mustang. That car has an amazing team to run like it does. Congratulations!
When I die my corpse wants a high7 in the Hurst!!
Excellent channel dudes
Kevin gets a hat tip from me he was awesome saving that car thanks for sharing
75 degrees...in Florida Tom . Michigan is 28 degrees cloudy and overcast with 91 percent humidity. . It is not raining just wet feeling and cold and very Michigan like
Looks like a great time
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Until next year!
Tom this was an epic week… and I wasn’t there! Sent so much coverage from so many different videographers I mean Fred your son, Fred and 1320 video hello maybe is your brother Fred but those guys did an awesome job of every day updating us with the whole damn week loved it my son and I were down there last year for 2023 became fans of your event tuned in every night this week and saw what you guys were doing down there wish we could’ve been there I think I need to sign up for the sick ward next year
The Pontiac @28:37 gives me Mullet vibes. Riiight? lol. Anybody else get that? In the 80s there was a GMC factory color called Medium Champagne Metallic and I wonder if that's what they both have. I haven't seen them side by side but they do appear to be a very similar shade of gray.
Anyhow, it would be awesome to see a race between the two considering they both run mid to low 7s.
2700 subs for the live feed, 37 of them were real!😮 Ps, nice radial prep week while your big tire car is at home.
I think we need a no prep drag and drive event. We dont need any stinking prep!!! Lol!!
Tom and Team , Great job ! Now give the durango away so we never have to see it again . :>)
Fred from 1320 could take video lessons from you because you seem to film all brands of cars hot rods ford chevy and dodge muscle cars Fred seems to really like to film mainly GM promods and imports. I love the old muscle cars I do love to watch everything that goes down the track and you do a great job at showing the times they run not just the winners. Good job keep up the good work.
Eh, it's nice to get different variety from different channels. 1320 does a great job and so does Sick the Mag's Aussie.
Blindman Hialeah South Florida 😂🎉😂😂😂😂 Good luck
Tom Bailey wins the mustache contest.
Awesome👍🐿👍
How much do you want to bet there's going to be double the number of radial cars next year?
Drag and Drive events are historically known for marginal track prep which makes it hard for radial cars to compete. It’s weird to see that reversed at Sick Week. Tracks were mostly radial prepped which actually made it really hard (tire shaking) on the fast big tire cars.
this looks like such a blast! I look at the rules but sadly dont see a class a guy with a 17 z06 with basic bolt ons could enter. runs low 10's maybe high 9's with drag radials?
Why no wheelie bars on the Durango? When you try putting the juice to it, it looks like the tires squat so hard they almost bounce and then load and unload at different spring rates about eighteen times before you get to half track.
too bad the tracks were prepped for radials. Big tire cars could have had a good time also. 2 runs a day makes it hard on everyone
Congrats to everyone who participated and to the dude who's rad cap blew off and everyone else who has has scars from Sick Week and get to compare them like in the movie JAWS get better soon.
Excellent!!!💪 💪 🇺🇸 🇺🇲
Bad ass
hi Tom! you have to take your promod to street week in sweden and show that americans can win a race week🤠🤠
Lol leaf blowers! Just blowin the s#### around!
Awsome
Brett should've named the mustang GOOSTANG 😂
You know what’s ironic, all the guys with Ho dollar ,custom made motor parts which a lot of these cars didn’t finish sick week, then a guy in a lime green mustang with a stock block & crank with a lot of,I mean a lot of stock parts that can be replaced from Auto Zone & on radial tires smokes the the pro mods & big buck cars
Sad its gone
TOM new track (1320) is being built in Nassau county Florida. In Callahan.. New Sick week track ??
Thanks everyone
New technology is winning out over BAD AZZ strip machines …At least it still requires fuel and fire to complete!!!! 🇺🇸🏁
Best quote ever is minimod>promod
radials almost need their own class
Lutz making excuses all weekend like he had a discovery channel check on the line :D
🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Tom how did cleeters live stream work for you.. I thought it was great..
Kevin KSR FTW
What's the fastest a Steve Morris engine has gone?
Yes .
Should have built a Mopar 4 years ago. Lol😂❤ 👍👍
Got him is the name lame green car😂 mod
