All good stuff here old oval windows and small tail light busses and cabs. The splits were on the other video but oval window bugs are cool plus early small tail light cars.
I like the silence rather than the music that's typically played at these shows. Took my '61 panel to its first local show near me (Kentucky), and of course, they had the annoying music BLARING. 94 vehicles turned up, and not a single VW, not even a bug! My double door was a big hit!

probably the only one of those around. That was a coachbuilt double cab. before they were made by vw. Super rare. there was a company making them and vw adopted the concept. Pre double cab. That and the fire truck were probably the rarest vws there.
Mike Fn Garage I never see unique things like that at any shows near me. Of course I live in Northeast, and Pennsylvania, so we really don’t have as much here. Not quite like I’m seeing everywhere else. That is very rare there was no doubt about that. The firetruck is very cool.
...some very beautiful cars here, nicely restored! :)...hard to believe there are still people effing up splits and ovals by lowering them,"customizing", etc...way too valuable and rare for that now...plenty of later bugs to to that to if you are so inclined...

This video depressed me big time. It made me realize just how irrelevant my ‘69 bug is and how all my work has been a waste of time and money. Those vehicles were all beauties at that show. Wow. My car is a joke. LOL
I think the 69 was a good year my uncle had one we drove in it daily. Pained with 2 tone stock wheels looks old too. lots of memories in that car.
Your car isn't a joke man. Be proud of your efforts. Some of these show cars have had mega-dollars spent on them. Most of us do what we do on a tight budget and yeah, my '68 is pretty rough around the edges but I did all the work myself and it gives my family and I great pleasure and gets thumbs-upon the street, and that's what counts!
