Three Mustang GT3s, which includes Proton Competition, battled to a total of three Top-10 finishes across the GTD ranks.
Our tribute to six decades of memorable Mustang race cars continues with Detroit later this month.

The GT3 is very fast, but according to article today, parts like front splitters are falling off during race. They need to make these parts mire durable and harden the attachment points get a race podium since the Mustang is fast enough.

its cool that Ford is doing this with racing but they have no chance this year. they will never let ford win with any car in its first year again. i dont usually go in for "the fix is in" type of stuff... but the BOP they put on the mustang is hard to rationally explain away.

The cars looked amazing this past weekend, but I don't know what to make of their lack of pace. Seems like lots of folks are offering up conspiracy theories though.
BOP has been destroying the Mustang in every race it enters based on what many people have been saying and seeing overall.

Well the extra weight is because of BOP, they restricted this car into a choke hold.

Please finish at least 3rd this year in either class Tons of bravado and specifically calling out Porsche which has crazy historical success and doing it with 6 cylinders and 9500 rpm. A brick with wings is still a brick.
