I've made 3 flights already, not big problems...however, I've heard other people saying if you started a flight from another flight (without close the sim) issues will appear....
Coming to the defense of Hans here, he is a friend. I just asked Hans Hartmann if he knew of ANY similar issue as reported by you. He does not, as far as I can see, you are the ONLY one who has that issue. That makes it pretty likely it conflicts with something on your system. These things happen, but most people ask for assistance and do not start to make videos that the product does not work and call it a waste of money. Your text is very clear when you call this a non-functional product that is not tested. That is obviously not true because if there was a bug this massive it would logically affect all users and not just you. Now it is clear, you are unhappy to have paid for something that does not work on your system, we can all relate to that. I can not relate to the tone and content of your video. I can reproduce this with an empty community folder. Filling in the flightplan without any airways doesn't break the aircraft, with the airways the aircraft stops working completely
Carsten, my first impression was extremely positive, I liked it, up UNTIL it completely broke on me. I tried again and it was a serious bug I could reproduce. I checked the forums and found more reports of the aircraft freezing. From my point of view, it was unusable, so that's where I am/was coming from. NOW, I assume just very few routes are having this issue, so I will spend the day with this to get a new video out on how to avoid this.

Pretty bold statement from someone who i assumed would know better before making quick final assumptions. Judging from that i've seen in your video, it seems the issues you were having are deeper than this aircraft, possibly conflicts with something else related to avionics. Anytime avionics freeze like this, always look beyond the aircraft itself for answers. I would suggest re-installing the aircraft, cleaning your rolling cache, then restart your PC and try again with an empty community folder.

You likely have not set up your controls properly. To blame the aircraft for that is pretty disappointing. You didn't even bother to do any research or learn from videos of others flying it perfectly. There is an airways bug and a few other issues, but it is great fun to start, fly, cruise and land, with lots of things to do in the cockpit.
Same here. CtD during load flight plan procedure into fms. Then blue screen on Windows 11. My specs i9 13300k. 32 gigs ram. 3060ti 12 gn vram. Msfs installed over 2tb SSD
This mod was £12.99, that’s a bargain given it’s not far off being study level. It’s a great mod, it’s not broken - sure, there’s some room for improvement like adding more liveries and they will. Your review is very misleading given how great of a mod it is.

The only thing wasted was the 13:50 watching this video. Your delivery of pretending everything was going to work (knowing it won't) is incredibly annoying. This add-on is incredible, and any bugs will be worked out very shortly.

I agree that isn´t finished. But for a start, they havve implemented almost all of the functionalities. It´s not workint well yet. The flight model is strange and the AP too. But of course they will make corrections. Wich I expect to be soon. I would hate to wait months for a single update. And for the price it costs I think is very promising. Just a bit of disappointment because I can´t fly as good as PMDG does. But I´m confident.

How could you even fly this plane vero?! You don't even know how to fly anything except the 3rd person view like it's an arcade game or grand theft auto 5 and you have no idea how to fly from the cockpit even in a simple Cessna 152!
Another small bug. When you quick look right it looks left and when you look left it looks right. Not game breaking by any means but needs some attention.
Not a fan of this aircraft so far but least I didn't pay to much. Firstly I definitely see a FPS drop compared to other aircraft that I own. I have found it's tricky to see both the runway and the speed indicator unless I zoom out then the instrument panel becomes difficult to read. Want a quick flight by using the main menu world flight planning tool like most other aircraft? nope you can't do that it wont appear pre-programmed within this aircraft you'll have to do it all manually though the FMC each time. Oh but that's more realistic? yet you still allow me to push the "ready to taxi" button though. Want to read the manual? forget this here. Setting the throttles is also a little fiddly and annoying to be honest. In the air it feels nice enough to hand fly and you can still have some fun with it. I don't want to waste my money so I will still fly it occasionally but so many nicer and better aircraft to fly in this sim.
I've been buying all sorts of crap for FSX, XP11, P3Dv4 ... and no, for 13 euros or even 19 euros, it's a very descent addon. calling it an "expert series" was probably overselling the product, but overall, considering the quality of the average MSFS addon, it's perfect.
If it worked properly, I'd agree with you. Considering the rest of MSFS addons, this is the first one that completely freezes up and stops working simply for using the FMC to put in a flightplan

No, not broken. I am having no issues with this plane. It's 13 dollars...not a 70 dollar PMDG.... this plane does a fine job. Airways not working? Meh. Small bug. I have done several flights some rnav, some precision etc....and had no issues.

I bought the aircraft too its no use for console as its got bugs and glitches in it and its not great for making a flight plan on console with that aircraft think it should only be a pc aircraft
I tried using the fight assistance with the aircraft it would not move a inch with Full throttle and it that bad and you think a fist party aircraft should work well the basic feature of the simulator and it doesn't work for that I say it broken or bug. any aircraft i buy or it a free aircraft that comes with the sim update I test them if they are fully functional with the al fight assistant Co pilot feature
@@Byemoonmen It is the same systems developer, Hans, he will fix the issues but for some it might take some more time. With CRJ I have experienced similar issues at the beginning. Now is pretty stable.

I assume you can download the flightplan but I haven't tried that yet. I did some testing just now and I could get around this bug by ignoring the airways.

Thumbs down for this. As others have mentioned, you click into the airways and waypoints and works just fine. One of the best planes out there as of today.
Yes, now it's a known bug, when I recorded this when this released, it wasn't. If you visit the forums you will quickly find out others have found many more bugs. Expecting a fully released aircraft to not have any serious bugs during normal operation isn't exactly setting the bar that high.

i don't understand your whining and moaning. there is more expensive trash out there. it's so close to reality that i almost feel like i'm at work... some tweaks and fixes here and there... you get a lot of plane for little money... if you break down only the operating costs of an real atr you pay compared close to nothing 😂( 3-4k € per hour / 1.4 - 1.8 million € per year if really nothing goes wrong) so have fun. happy landings and always three greens...

I just got done doing a full flight with this aircraft about 15 minutes ago. The only issue I had was learning the systems, it flew magnificently.
This plane is amazing. The bugs will be solved shortly in an update. Just restart the flight and it will work.

For me it costs 29.99 SGD, and I’m using the deluxe version. Why is it so expensive?
The plane is perfectly flyable if you know what you are doing.
Compared to a lot of other planes, (I payed $12) for this, I would say it is an awesome plane, just a few little quirks.

Misleading? The entire aircraft freezes when you're adding certain airways. This is a known bug.

I havent got the thing to move an inch the in game throttles have a mind of their own and the parking breake just wont release no matter what i do.
You have the wheel chocks on. I made the same mistake. You can remove them on the tablet.
12 dollars is cheap. So, even if it's not perfect, is still worth it. I've spent that money on very worse stuff.

How could you even fly this plane vero?! You don't even know how to fly anything except the 3rd person view like it's an arcade game or grand theft auto 5 and you have no idea how to fly from the cockpit even in a simple Cessna 152!

Another small bug. When you quick look right it looks left and when you look left it looks right. Not game breaking by any means but needs some attention.

that’s not the plane bug, your camera yaw reverse axis may not be on/off
Mine doesn't even start, battery is on OVERRIDE position and it doesn't turn on the screens, tried everything. Shitty addon, wasted ALL OF MY MONEY
Not a fan of this aircraft so far but least I didn't pay to much. Firstly I definitely see a FPS drop compared to other aircraft that I own. I have found it's tricky to see both the runway and the speed indicator unless I zoom out then the instrument panel becomes difficult to read. Want a quick flight by using the main menu world flight planning tool like most other aircraft? nope you can't do that it wont appear pre-programmed within this aircraft you'll have to do it all manually though the FMC each time. Oh but that's more realistic? yet you still allow me to push the "ready to taxi" button though. Want to read the manual? forget this here. Setting the throttles is also a little fiddly and annoying to be honest. In the air it feels nice enough to hand fly and you can still have some fun with it. I don't want to waste my money so I will still fly it occasionally but so many nicer and better aircraft to fly in this sim.

I've been buying all sorts of crap for FSX, XP11, P3Dv4 ... and no, for 13 euros or even 19 euros, it's a very descent addon.
calling it an "expert series" was probably overselling the product, but overall, considering the quality of the average MSFS addon, it's perfect.

Considering the rest of MSFS addons, this is the first one that completely freezes up and stops working simply for using the FMC to put in a flightplan

Man, for the throttle, you didn't unlocked it! There is a safeguard just above the throttle..
The entire aircraft was frozen, the gust lock didn't make a difference
The only problem that I found is I cant shut of the valves
Have you tried using your propeller axis? I recall the fuel valves responding to my prop axis.

No, not broken. I am having no issues with this plane. It's 13 dollars...not a 70 dollar PMDG.... this plane does a fine job. Airways not working? Meh. Small bug. I have done several flights some rnav, some precision etc....and had no issues.

If it froze when you were using the FMC, it's a known bug. Some people work around it by executing often or skipping the airways.
I would delete this video, because you the only one who says you wasted you money. Its a good aircraft and updates will come. If other people see this video they may not buy it even before watching the video. This is hurting Asobo cause its a great aircraft at a low price

I bought the aircraft too its no use for console as its got bugs and glitches in it and its not great for making a flight plan on console with that aircraft think it should only be a pc aircraft
I tried using the fight assistance with the aircraft it would not move a inch with Full throttle and it that bad and you think a fist party aircraft should work well the basic feature of the simulator and it doesn't work for that I say it broken or bug. any aircraft i buy or it a free aircraft that comes with the sim update I test them if they are fully functional with the al fight assistant Co pilot feature

I didn't follow very closely or fly the CRJ so I can't draw any comparisons
The ATR is very promising, I hope we see some fixes soon
@@Byemoonmen It is the same systems developer, Hans, he will fix the issues but for some it might take some more time. With CRJ I have experienced similar issues at the beginning. Now is pretty stable.
I really hope so. This aircraft has a lot of potential, with fixes it could be literally the best aircraft to buy, factoring in cost.

See if you can put up a video telling everyone you have no patience, without actually telling everyone you have no patience.
It works really well for me, both of them. Maybe the problem is with your setting. Do some more research before posting something that you may want to take back.
It's a bug I can reproduce every time with an empty community folder... Apparently it doesn't affect every route, since it seems not everyone is having this issue.

Fill in everything, including airways. I could work around it today by ignoring the airways, so it seems to be airway related.

I’ve done 5 successful flights in this aircraft with no problems so What you on about mate 😂 this is amazing especially for the price it works completely fine for me completely not had a single problem with it yet and any bugs I might encounter have already been sent out to Microsoft for a fix as Hans Hartman posted saying all the bugs he has fixed you people who hate and complain about anything are the reason we can’t have good things in this world
Some people it’s working fine some not for me the throttles don’t even work properly they bug like mad but I’m just waiting for a fix

I assume you can download the flightplan but I haven't tried that yet.

You found the one (already reported) bug that freezes the system, probably even knowing it will do that, and you created a click-bait video to dismiss the entire plane based on a known and being-addressed bug? Thumbs down for this. As others have mentioned, you click into the airways and waypoints and works just fine. One of the best planes out there as of today.
Yes, now it's a known bug, when I recorded this when this released, it wasn't. If you visit the forums you will quickly find out others have found many more bugs.
Expecting a fully released aircraft to not have any serious bugs during normal operation isn't exactly setting the bar that high.

i don't understand your whining and moaning. there is more expensive trash out there. it's so close to reality that i almost feel like i'm at work... some tweaks and fixes here and there... you get a lot of plane for little money... if you break down only the operating costs of an real atr you pay compared close to nothing 😂( 3-4k € per hour / 1.4 - 1.8 million € per year if really nothing goes wrong)

There is a lot of trash out there, but I don't think this is trash, I just don't see it as finished after dealing with some of the bugs I have. After some much needed fixes, this aircraft will be great.

Flies perfectly for me, vnav, ils etc all worked, even loaded simbrief plan. Love it. Definately not a waste of money.
it cost me a tenner here and I'm sure it will get patched, if not oh well uninstall and move on, can't even buy 2 pints here in the UK for the money spent, it's not something that I'm gonna get butthurt over.
