I hope they don't store the batteries while charged above 4V. That will really degrade the cells over time.
I ordered two 4S 5000mAh Turnigys from HK. When they arrived all the cells had between 3.86 to 3.87V except for two in one pack that were 3.61 and 3.81. I asked support, if that was normal (which it wasn't) and they sent me a new one. I could keep the defective pack, but that one cell is really bad (drops 0.2V in a month or two) so I only use it for bench testing.
Maybe you should ask HK if there's a normal voltage to expect when the battery is delivered?

The actual capacity of the cells isn't that important - it's the internal resistance that is important, and why one cell dies before the other.

Hold on a second, so you received these batteries fully charged (4.1 is fully charged in my book, especially for lithium batteries ) except for the one that was only charged to 3.93? But then you charged that one to 4.1 and did the tests?
