I've tried to find or think of a song that I liked in which none of the lyrics rhymed. None. Except this one. Everyone seems to like it so much they just don't notice the lyrics don't rhyme. I didn't when I first heard it. A few days later I was telling my son about the song and that he should listen to it because it had a great message. He asked what the message was and I started reading the lyrics to him. It immediately became obvious how clumsy that is when you try to read them like a normal song, where they rhyme. But she puts them in a song and they're beautiful. Amazing! Also, it's great to see another reaction to AJ from you. I believe she has two or three videos out of this song in different settings and she sings a little different in the studio version, singing at the end of the song, “life should be lived with hope, hope, hope.” She changes that ending somewhat in the different versions, in one version she sings hope once at the end, and then another it’s three times, and in this video you are watching, it’s a little different than the other two. My favorite version of the song is the one where she sings hope, hope, hope, clearly three times at the end for emphasis. I love the interaction in this video with her in a lounge/bar singing with a waitress who may feel stuck and unfulfilled in her job, and Angelina giving her some support and encouragement.

She did a Tik Tok version first, that was perhaps a little hurried - here she has studied the lyrics, this rendition is at another level. It's a though she really understands Adele, the emotion that she evokes is off the scale. Hello S-F! This is a great video and brings smiles watching Angelina both singing and goofing around. Every one of her original songs tell stories with deep meaning and emotional impact. These are not teen aged love struck yearnings or songs of young love lost. Angelina composes songs that make us reflect and think about other people and how we can help make life better.
Her new studio video is coming out in the morning and I know already it will be epic!

It's her latest original. It occurs to me that the opening and closing lines about bitterness and hope could have been something she said to the little girl she gave her shoes to. There are several videos of it. Check 'em out. Good to see you. Hope your mother is ok too.

Hi Sandy, I'm a little late to the party, but it means that I can tell you Angelina has released her live studio video of Easy on Me - the Adele cover. She did a Tik Tok version first, that was perhaps a little hurried - here she has studied the lyrics, this rendition is at another level. It's a though she really understands Adele, the emotion that she evokes is off the scale. Piano by Rob Christie of Republic Records is a perfect accompaniment, tastefully filmed by Cole McCarthy who has also worked on music videos for Republic. @@richardlinn5512 I think that is done to avoid copyright strikes. Many Reactors are using filters over the image now and, so far, it seems to work.
@@richardlinn5512 It got blocked worldwide so I had to go back and blur out her video. I'm happy she got a recording contract but the record company won't let us post her unedited anymore.
