Nice, I do a lot of surfcasting up there, at certain times you only need knee deep water to catch snapper and you'd struggle to catch a kahawai. Then there's 0 days...

I have an AEE from you. Is the software/firmware update able to be able to go beyond the 500m limit on your earlier model?
Sorry but it has a bigger WiFi unit on the new drone so is not available as a software upgrade.

You need a permit for driving on Muriwai which you can download for free, no permit is needed for flying these drones.
1000m offshore?
I’d need new line... tonnes of braided line. A new reel than can hold so much line plus some.
And a new done too.

How hard is it to fly this drone without drone flying knowledge. Is there chances it will get lost and drift away with wind
It’s the easiest one we’ve tried, and we’ve tried a lot. We recommend flying below 15 knots, it would take more than 30 knots to lose it
How is the release works? Thank you
Tension release, to set the hooks just stop the line. Benefit of this system is any tangles result with an early release of your hooks, rather than with the drone in the water like other release mechanisims.
How is the BOP for drone fishing?
Drone fishing is effective everywhere. Southern BOP seems best to get the biggest fish.

Just don't use them all day where people are trying to have a nice quiet day at the beach. Otherwise they are a great device and way more reliable than a kontiki for an accurate drop.

Can you buy a car charger for the battery?
No we don't have a car charger. You would need a sine wave inverter and use the charger that comes with the drone. It's cheaper to purchase extra batteries.
