I have the Are-D2 and am very satisfied with it. USB powered and can charge at .5 or 1 amp in left slot. .5, 1 or 2 amp in right slot with two batteries in. Of course you need a 2 amp brick, I already have a multi slot usb hub to charge my phones and flashlights.
This guy has no clue. Calls the A2 anA1 for most of the video . Then he says the 21700 battery won't fit the a2 . It absolutely does fit and is listed on the back.
How about how to use them?
The Fenix ARE A2 is both AC & DC. This means Car or House for recharging. And the slots on the ARE A2 are long enough for the Fenix 21700.

Yes it should fit. I have a Fenix 21700 protected 5000 mah and it fits well in the are d2 fine.
What is the difference between a2 and d2?
