  • Na Fianna Force is a brand new Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster at Emerald Park in Ireland, opening to the public 22 May 2024. I was lucky enough to be at the media day on 21 May to try it out - and it's fantastic. Here is a complete front seat POV filmed with kind permission of the park.

    damned, that looks like a very strong coaster! This one is guaranteed a B&M killer

      It's a really amazing design - powerful g-forces but also with airtime, twists and turns and so smooth - a real winner for the park I am sure!

    Wow. I've been a bit out of touch lately about new rollercoasters around the world. Had no idea such an amazing looking Vekoma suspended coaster had been built. 😄
    Thank you for the great video! 👌

      To be fair my own coaster riding has been pretty sparse since COVID....but this was such a surprise to me too!

    This coaster looks awesome! Looks like airtime, snappy transitions, a few inversions, great pacing. What more could one ask for.

      Just described it perfectly - I was really impressed...and it is so smooth too - any park would benefit hugely from something like this

      @@riparianlife97701 Indeed - such a fine ride and one of the smoothest coasters I have ever ridden, despite the really strong g-forces...amazing coaster

    I can confidently say that this would be my favorite invert. The flow of this one is 👌

    Gotta admit, Vekoma has come a long, long way from its old boomerang models and SLCs. This looks to be a great ride.

      They are THE manufacturer at the moment - their new stuff has been amazing and more will come...exciting times and a long way from their original stuff that earned the name such a legendary poor reputation...it's a huge transformation.

      As someone who has also experienced it, yes the pacing is very good, however there is one small point in the ride where it stops briefly but overall a great layout

    Fantastic investment! I wonder how it feels/the roar/the experience to a B&M invert

    • @davidjellis
      @davidjellis  Před 2 měsíci

      It feels more unpredictable than a typical B&M - in that the B&M inverts have a pretty standard feel to them...this was wacky and crazy and more fun!

  • @Cascade777
    @Cascade777 Před 2 měsíci +1

    How's the intensity compared to the B&M inverts? Looks better than those cause I'm not a huge fan of high positive Gs.

    • @davidjellis
      @davidjellis  Před 2 měsíci +2

      It has a surprisingly high amount of positive Gs and got more forceful during the day as it was run in...but so smooth and re-rideable that it really wasn't a problem...it is really well designed and is constantly surprising you with twists and turns and actual airtime too. Top coaster.

  • @killwize

    low to the ground inverts are so much better than any soulless cookie cutter b&m invert.

    • @davidjellis
      @davidjellis  Před 2 měsíci

      Agreed - the low to the ground action feels so much more exciting - you really don't need the world's tallest coaster to have a fun and intense ride experience, just be creative and make it better in different ways...this is a perfect example.
