- Today is Day 21 of cameras in the courtroom of Johnny Depp Vs. Amber Heard!
Super Chat Policy:
Hi Byters! The amount of love and support we've gotten throughout this trial has been incredible. Every comment, like, subscribe, share, Super Chat and Super Sticker is SO appreciated and means more than you can possibly imagine. That being said, the amount we've been getting has been overwhelming in the best of ways, so we need to introduce the following SC policy for the rest of the trial.
-Super Stickers (SSs) and SCs that are statements, rhetorical questions, etc, will be shown on screen ASAP. When possible, without interrupting court proceedings or panel discussions, they'll be read and/or reacted to.
-SCs that begin with 'Q:' or 'Question' will be reserved. We'll do our best to address each one of these individually, but we get a lot of Qs asking the same thing. When we do answer a SC on a specific topic, we'll go through the list of reserved chats and display each chat that poses the same Q on the screen. If the topic of a question comes up organically in discussion, we'll do the same as outlined here.
-For SCs addressed specifically to a panel member, we'll make every effort to get it in front of them while they're with us, but that may not always be possible. If it's a statement it may be shown when they're here, if it's a Q we'll try our best to have them answer it.
Consider taking a moment to look at the video series below before asking a question via SC. A lot of questions have been answered here. SC's that pose questions answered here may be answered Asked & Answered.

Hamada, the Warner Bros executive about Amber: "What makes a movie star a movie star....you know it when you see it. And there was nothing there" This was gold!
Mr. Night has trauma from being emotionally abused, so I think that would help him remember seeing another man being emotionally abused.
“Not worth the paper they’re not written on”…. Best laugh I’ve had in a long time.
Johnny has already won. He has cleared his good name, showed the world his story and everyone loves him. I just hope he can keep making movies and get his life and career back.
I disagree. Winning is important-that’s why he’s there. People might think he’ll lose so by saying it doesn’t matter, when it does, is plain wrong. I hope he wins. And does so fairly.
@@cindytartt4048 Depp has won the court of public opinion which will see him "uncancelled" so he'll earn more than he's tried to sue for. Amber will be radioactive now and no one in hollywood will touch her.
Winning the trial, which was unlikely in the first place would just be the cherry on top.
Or you're both right.
@@griffinmathers929 yeah, I was being disagreeable. Hadn’t yet had the morning coffee. 😀😀 but I’d say he’s winning in the court of public opinion. Does that put money in his account, though? 🤔
He needs a win to be hired by studios again. Otherwise he is stuck with only indie movies. Robert Downey Jr wants JD in new Sherlock Holmes movie.
Tim Burton wants JD in new Addams family adaptation in Netflix.
If he loses, he has to say goodbye for those roles.
Do not judge Johnny’s behavior toward Amber until you’ve lived with a cluster B for a couple of months. Their whole reason for being is to make you insane to feel better about themselves.
Just watching her trying to gaslight the world into believing her lies has me crazy. Her and her friends pretending there are injuries in pictures where there clearly aren’t, is making me crazy. I don’t know how he survived that.
@@RuminatingRaptor Her ego and narcissism made her think she could fool us all.
@@AriesGirl7719 I think Josh Drew is a problem too: trying to be a bad ass saving the ladeez. 🙄🙄 (edit: a bit off topic but it’s been 6 hours of this, now).
As someone who lived with one until I was 18 it’s so infuriating seeing people believe and defend her.
200,000 an episode. That's insane in itself. She has the acting abilities and array of emotion of a robot.
That’s insulting to robots. More like the emotional range of a rock.
@@RuminatingRaptor That is insulting to rocks! ;)
I watched the entire series of The Stand and I completely forgot she was even in it. When I heard that on the stand, I was flabbergasted. 😂😂😂 I totally forgot her.
ACCURATE.
This iteration was on a network or streaming thing I don't have. I read the book, watched the thing that came out in 1994... I think I'm good.
Can anyone send a timestamp where the Hollywood Dealmaker says " Her opinions are not worth the paper they're not written on"? 😂😂
I think what stands out to me most, despite all of JD’s flaws, he seems like an actual kind person.
I just saw a photo of him today, chatting and making Judy, the Court Stenographer laugh.
The Jury wouldn’t be in the room to see that & it didn’t seem he knew he was being photographed.
It seemed like a genuine moment.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but in court, everyone except the Judge, seems to pretend the stenographer is invisible?
JD doesn’t, and I think that gives insight into the type of person he is.
I can’t imagine a moment like that from AH, I bet she doesn’t even know Judy’s name?
Depp has been like that for decades
I know people who met him at their regular jobs (one who worked at Disney gave his kids a private tour and said he was so kind, afterward gave him a huge tip to thank him him and said 'bc he knows how rambunctious they can be, etc'
he's always been very empathetic and considerate of others
and he's always been like that, to everyone, off camera
he even adopted the senior horse from 'Sleepy Hollow' when he learned they planned to euthanize after filming, and he always surprised ill kids to cheer them w/o pr and fanfare
he's just a genuinely kind person and it's amazing bc fame hasn't changed him all these decades and he's such a huge star
HG Tudor did a very in-depth analysis of JD. He said hes not a narcissist, but he has many narcissist traits. With some empathy buried in there. This may also be due to the abuse and drugs. He knew more about JD that blew me away. He also analyzed Amturd. That one is full Narcissist with borderline and histrionic traits. He says Amturd may actually believe her claims. She has repeated them in her head and had her friends help validate, that she actually believes she had those things happened.Second option is this was completely planned from the start. You should check out his channel. You will learn more than you want to about Personality disorders as told by the self aware narc/psychopath. I was actually stalling to hear his conclusion as based on everything he told about JDs history i knew where it was headed.
I can't stop watching Richard Marks' part. He was so so good! My gosh! He totally dismantled AH's claims of damages! Love this expert ✨
So, this trail has teached me a few things:
1) Lawyer math is dangerous
2) What if anything is a way to get around just about anything
3) Never Fear Truth is an important statement
4) lawyers being caught of guard is the best comedy show
5) court is not like TV. There's A LOT of boring parts
6) the court hates trees
Why does court hate trees?
@@familyguy8494 they seem to print everything out...
@@movingforward3030 ohhh ok.
The hard copies of everything are ridiculous, especially if you're required to provide/serve copies. Once had 1000 page evidence bundle (which is in no way big for any legal issue, but it blew my mind still) and had to provide copies to each party and the judge as well as our own copy.
I just sat there watching it all print and imagining the deforestation.
@laura108 the thing about paper is that it never has a formatting problem, or resolution problem, or display color limit, or a corrupted hard-drive, or a failed RAM stick, or an incompatible file format, or...
I don't doubt that lawyers would love to do everything electronically, except that the 1st time you have a drive fail live in court while an expert witness is being paid $5,000 for the day and they aren't available tomorrow, resulting in the case being lost and your client sues you for malpractice... suddenly paper looks like a wonderful option
Mega pints & muffins to everyone who’s been watching since day one❤️
That's gonna be everyone's summer bbq theme this year 😆🧁🍺👍🏽🤭
The biggest thing I got from Night was that, instead of the trailer being "destroyed" as per Amber and Rocky, there was $62 worth of damage to a single light. The other part I found hilarious was Elaine asking the questions about "seeing Johnny grab anyone that night" that they had already successfully objected to during JDs direct.
Note that Raquel testified to it being trashed but the only thing she could recall with any specificity was the light fixture. The rest was “general disarray”.
@@clevermissfox that chick is so shady, she could be a beach umbrella.
I noticed that as well. I was screaming “OBJECTION!”
When we heard (one of the few things I did hear) that the damage was less than $70 to replace, and even I could afford to fix that?
Yeah, someone's pants are on fire.
wasn't it 32$ ?
Mrs. Bytes has the prefect voice for this stream
Andrea appears extremely intelligent with a lot of knowledge. Very impressive
How much of an over statement would it be to say that I bet Ms. Turd wished she NEVER wrote that article?
She lives in an alternate reality. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s feeling great right now, believing that she’s about to win a hundred million dollars.
@@TheUnapologeticGeek We'll just have the court "pledge" any monies that she gets.
I think she is so narcissistic that she doesn’t see anything she has done is wrong
@@TheUnapologeticGeek 😂😂🤣🤣
If you've ever met someone like her....she is NOT regretting it....
Her smirk during Night's description of how the "trashed trailer" actually looked is how she truly feels about all of this, as well as rage that she's not getting her way.
I love how Muffin had become a permanent part of the panel
I’m late to the trail how did that start?
Dr currie and Elaine trying to make out that Dr currie had been unprofessional 'telling' her husband she was going to interview AH. By her hubby supplying muffins. But it's just protcol to give VIP clients muffins and no confidentially was broken in the process. Just AH misleading her lawyers.
U can see the muffin man serves a purpose. He goes to the bottom during the trial when everyone is stacked on the side and muffin man takes the brunt of the super chats as they cover the bottom face. They still cover part of someone's face when they get a lot of people stacked.
I really hate myself for thinking this, but, I bet Johnny is so happy this woman never got pregnant otherwise he'd be stuck with Amber FOREVER.
people were commenting why the woman representing Childrens Hospital was wearing a mask ... health care employees are required to do so still to this day, and she took the requirement to heart !
People need to mind their own business. Don't know why wearing anything needs explaining
Yeah I found that quite unprofessional that they commented it on that
They’re wearing a mask because we’re still in a pandemic and vulnerable and immunocompromised individuals exist. I’m a HCW and our hospitals still require masks, and like mentioned above, it shouldn’t have to be explained.
@@annaloustiles3442 yes exactly ...
Even if it WERE filmed a year ago, at the hospitals (at least in my state)we are still required to wear a mask, whether you are a patient, an employee or a visitor, to this day. My son is a patient at a children's hospital and they take it VERY seriously, so I am always appreciative of the care and concern they take for all of the little ones to ensure everyone is wearing a mask and taking every precaution to keep these sweet little ones from catching Covid in what could be a death sentence with their medical situations! I wish people realized that most of those who wear masks AREN'T doing it because we are politicizing anything, or because we WANT to, it's because we have loved ones, (or ourselves) that we want to stay safe and have a long healthy life. I was sad to see comments being made about it without a thought for those who are most vulnerable. It might be "over" for you, but the reality is, it's not over at all, especially for those in a hospital setting! Just something to remember when dealing with loved ones with health issues.....👶🦹♀️🦹👩🦽🤱👨👩👧👦👵👴
5:33:54 - As a non-lawyer, it's funny to me that so many of the panel thought this to be a bad answer by Mr Bania. It was excellent, using AH's own "expert" witness against her, and making him seem less biased as a witness because he was also willing to modify his views on the basis of opposing testimony.
I agree I don’t know why they thought it was bad. I thought it made the lawyer look awful. He was clearly trying to put words into the expert’s mouth. After such a transparent presentation it just seems suspicious to me like they’re trying to change the facts into something else. Focusing on all of the things he wasn’t asked to do instead what he was supposed to do makes it worse.
Thank you for your stream and commentary!! Love you guys!!
I need Dr. Shaw to do audio books of all of his academic writings so I can use them to study(fall asleep to them and hope nocturnal literary osmosis works).
Easy listening voice..🥱🤤
Seriously! His voice is so soothing. So easy to listen to
Dr Shaw was wonderful! For me his soothing manner and voice made it easier for me to follow what he was saying. What a nice change from the obnoxious witnesses we've had recently. He has manners, respect for the court and the law, isn't confrontational and is knowledgeable.
You guys talked thru the best freakin part of Morgans testimony and we missed your reaction.
They are objecting to …the DSM-5 !
Thank you so much for a great, informative channel with stimulating ideas. Not a lawyer but really makes me appreciate the professionalism & has enlightened me. All of you all add alot for the attorney profession.
The bit about a Howell at the end… I suspect all testimony against AH was objected to as hearsay, so got edited out. The shouting at the end was to AH lawyers who had been harassing her for over 20 mins and she had had enough.
Yeah you’re right. It’s all hearsay that Whitney told Howell. She wasn’t there to witness anything between Johnny and Amber. For all we know Whitney could have been lying to Howell for whatever motive she had at the time. I think JDs team focused on the money aspect and the pattern of having Elon Musk pay things for AH. How this panel of lawyers didn’t see why that testimony was left out is pretty strange when I understood right away.
I can't remember the lawyers name doing the direct for Dr Shaw but I loved how around the 7:54 mark when she gets objected to she is just like "It's relevant and I can show you the proof if we can approach" without a skip from the moment AHs lawyer whose name I also don't recall tried to object to.
Delighted to see a new face and hear a new voice reining from S. Korea. He's an interesting, intriguing commentator with lots of useful commentary. Where is the link to his channel?
Whitney is HER sister and I would be skeptical about her testimony because of that .. and her story doesn’t even match up to Amber’s… and there really has been no other person coming to Amber’s defense (other than through depos) … that speaks volumes to me.
She also said she knew her sister got hit and was still trying to salvage the relationship, no way.
"You're my sister, I need you there, you love me" amber, probably.
Yeah, as much as I'd rather hear Whitney talk than Amber, I can't see her as unbiased and take her training with a heavy grain of salt, absolutely believing she would lie or embellish on a story or what she saw to help her sister. She pretty much showed that in the stairway incident. She first said Johnny came up behind her and sort of bumped into her back, the next accounting or answering questions was shoving her back, then it turned to striking and by the end she said he hit her on the back.
Shout out to Hoeg! I live in the UP Of Michigan!!
Quite interesting how AH got alive in recent days - after being "still, shocked and victimised" in the first weeks, then expressive and now somehow smug and "I'm-so-canny" giving those post=its to the left and right - seems like the thought of who's pulling strings on her side in this trial is getting some foundations.
I'm starting to worry a fix is in as in UK, especially after the sleazy moves today preventing evidence from Howell which would have disproved Whitney's perjury on the stand..she has Musk's billions behind her..I hope the jury has integrity and wisdom to give justice to Depp
For Mr. Night to go out of his way to contact and testify for Depp just shows and proves that JD is innocent.
he didn't contact, he was contacted
the huge elephant in the room during all testimonies regarding amber's career: amber is not a good enough actor to have the kind of career that is comparable to the other actresses mentioned. despite being a recognizable name for over 10 years, she hasn't been able to move beyond small supporting roles. if she had the talent to handle a lead role in a major film she probably would have landed one already. plain and simple.
Legalbytes, Hoag, Andrea, Law&Lumber, LawyerYouKnow, Runkle are the classiest commentators. Appreciate the professional presentations.
Mike from Law Talk with Mike is awesome as well, and he has a very entertaining channel with analysis of various cases. He’s also really great at following u on each subsequent appearance,to give a full case review.
Don’t forget the __queens_ that are Emily D Baker, & Natalee Lawyer Chick; I love Law & Lumber, & his friendship which has blossomed with Runkle has warmed my heart. True professionals.
Do you think that they couldn't ask much out of Jen Howell because of hearsay?
If so, then at least Jen Howell managed to say that Whitney lied on behalf of her sister which was heard by the jury.
Thats what I thought too that most of it had to be taken out by objections but the lawyers didn't comment on that
I laugh so hard everytime I hear it. I am a bad person. Night: ...that he wha... he talks to the Umbrella Guy?? Elaine: Yeah, were you aware of that. Night: I honestly, this sounds like a... schizophrenia.
I’ve woken my boyfriend up twice cackling and snorting as I make my rounds through various streams to see different reactions to the schizophrenia response.
This was gold. I believe Elaine was trying to trip him up by misusing the handle. Also who remembers who we reply or initiate tweets with. I’ve watched this testimony several times and laughed every time at the schizophrenia comment.
This was the best part of the entire day. Too bad there was an interruption during the schizophrenia part and most of it was missed. Too much talking.
Elaine unknowingly plugged Umbrella Guy. Hope his channel & Incredicable Average w/more recordings that may have not been released in court # AH & JD Hashtags, Trailerparks, Poo, (Best line of the week' "How many comparable movie stars have crapped in the bed?") I am team JD until proven otherwise, but I gotta hand it to AH. Who else can take a dump in bed (and more?) & land Elon Musk, JD & James Franco & whoever is next? Also landing 🎬 movie & show roles? Really? AH you 💩 in bed, lots of drugs and you still get dates and work? Case closed, no 💩 Don't worry, I think both will have lots of work.
@@andrewholmes6735 i left the stream early because this panel would not shut the f up and witnessed that divine moment on Emily Baker's. I had to pause several times to cackle at that comedy gold. This channel misses so much b/c the panel members don't know the appropriate time to talk and when to just shut up.
Another great stream! Thank you for your laughs and commentary. Watching the straight up live stream puts me to sleep so I’m grateful for y’all!
regarding cognitive testing he is right. only neuropsychologists are qualified to do these extensive testing. i also liked the way he said that before making opinion one should declare what are the limitations. perfectly scientific and a proper forensic psychiatry witness.
Yes declaring what you can and can't comment on is much more proper than just shouting a bunch of speculatives as if they are certainties
Yes, spegal's (sorry if misspelled) testimony wouldn't need this revision if he disclosed the limitations and considered what he would NORMALLY need to do in clinical practice to make the medical opinions he made on the stand. Tbh, he seemed to want to stick it to Depp. It's interesting the experts Amber's legal team digs up isn't it?
I agree with your analysis each time I have tuned in.
Thank you, ABS
Think about the Warmachine. Actor replaced. That could happened to AH. I don't think people will miss her particularly.
Same with Hulk going from a Norton to ruffalo
Amber was in The Pineapple Express??? Seriously? 😂😂 I don’t remember her at all. So now that’s two movies/shows that I can’t remember her in! 😂
Same here!!! She is so forgettable!
@@RuminatingRaptor I was telling someone else that I watched The Stand, every episode and I completely forgot she was in it. 😂

Ikr. He pretty much was happy to burn the AH bridge. I think there was implicit support for JD. Maybe he’ll be in the next fantastic beasts. If so I’m preordering
He was good. Zero fucks given.
Johnny Depp should make a rum called:
WADIFANY
Chew & Dennison are freakin ROCKSTARS. 😎✨🌟🤟
Johnny should auction his doodles he’s been drawing from this famous court case.
I would also love to see what novel Amber Heard wrote, although it would prob make me made
If they won’t allow Jennifer Howells testimony/letter in, then they shouldn’t have allowed Whitney’s testimony in... Whitney evaded being properly questioned and cross examined by dodging out of doing a deposition. And that in turn limited what could be asked about. They’ve sterilised, edited and tidied her up as a witness. There’s a whole heap of things they could have questioned her on if she’d done a similar depo as U.K. trial, especially drug use. It seems very dodgy of Heards team, to manipulate the court like that... and if Depp’s team thought Howells inclusion was in doubt, surely they could have found a way to bring up her relevance more in Whitney’s cross???
Well remembered. Well said. Good job. 👍🏻✌
Perhaps the shenanigans with the deposition is why the couldn't get more from Howell. We probably won't ever know what caused that massive mess, but Amber's team has been playing real dirty imo
So is the Howell thing definitely out?
@@realMaverickBuckley I believe so. Judge has made a lot of bad rulings imho..
AGREE and so angry they disallowed affidavit/testimony from Howell which proves Whitney committed perjury..it's as if they're sleazy corruption keeps winning
Depp's team didn't do a hard cross on her bc they had Howell coming up to dispute Whitney's blatant perjury!, so it's like Whitney gets to lie in court and say Depp was attacking Amber when it was Amber attacking him and almost pushing Whitney down the stairs, as well as her telling Howell she was afraid Amber would 'kill Johnny'..this is SUCH BS! that these liars and criminal sisters can keep lying in courts! after they almost pushed Depp down stairs
The ONLY time I had Jury Duty, I had to watch that stupid introductory video and I remember laughing at the part where they say, "the longest you can serve on jury duty was 6 months out of the year" WELL..I ended up landing on a Grand Jury (lucky me 😕) SIX months of Jury Duty 9am to 5pm!!!! They would not let us leave until we indicted the person they were going after. They would do anything to change one or two votes, whatever they needed to get the indictment. It felt like a rubber stamp instead of actual justice. Several of the cases I personally felt were vindictive parents against each other but it didn't matter; the DA WAS going to get her way no matter what. Every single person got an indictment in that 6 months.😕
MY PERKS YOU ASK? They gave us free stale donuts (I'm gluten intolerant), I also got paid $12/day (that they made sure I knew I could graciously donate back to the court if I so chose to) and free Jury parking for the days..🤬 IT SUCKED.
That's bad. If they want to do stuff like that, they need to pay you for the time at the rate you are paid.
My first Jury Duty notice was for the Grand Jury, my father was envious (He was really into law and did all his cases Pro Se and won) they never selected him for Jury Duty though.
@@Werealex damn, he would’ve been pissed off!
@@cindytartt4048 Yeah he was, but I don't think even had he ever got a Grand Jury notice he would have been selected because they knew him so well anytime he went in for jury duty selection he was dismissed very early. He was a interesting father to have, he could be in court for supposed crimes and then be talking to the head Sheriff and DA like they were best buddies (but not).
Sad
Here before a million views thank you for posting
I love that ever since AH got off the stand, she's seemed much more comfortable in showing her true colors & abandoning her victim role. She has the nastiest & most devious smile on her face at 6:37:27. I really hope that the jury caught this. She looks so spiteful.
I hope Rob forwards his research to JDs legal team
Love you guys and love your stream and discussions and explanations💖 but i sent three superchat, one last week, two today with Q in it, but not one of them apperead, nothing on screen, nobody answered, you didn't see them you didn't answer, really sad :(
My thoughts about yesterday as layman:
I liked the experts. They seemed credible and on point, especially Hollywood guy. I was not bored watching them testify.
- WB director immediately makes a stark contrast to AH own witness, as a guy who actually knows stuff. His testimony regarding chemistry is damming to AH and her expert witness.
His testimony on the contract never being cancelled plays into AH once again dramatically embelishing the facts. He said the delay was a few weeks, she said she worked hard for months to keep the role.
- The Q-score guy - as an IT person I found some of his cinclusions invalid, and he was properlyl criticized for it. However I found his other arguments compelling, and for me he is still useful to depp.
His q-scores in particular I thought were valid even despite the criticism of the time. The panel seemed to think that those were completely shut down by Baby Rottenborn, but my opinion differs. Even if you assume that her Q-scores would change as time goes, I would not expect them to change drammatically. I don't see a world where Amber's scores go from this state to a positive one very fast. Also at least some of the Jury would likely have independent opinions of her performance and the Q-scores as shown would make sense.
- the way AH team cross-exsmined the psychiatrist was laughable and demonstrated that they are reaching really hard.
- the same for Hollywood guy - "Do you know of any superhero movie actor who did not have an explosive career?". That can't be used to infer there are no such actors!!! I wanted Depp team to point out on redirect that there are hundreds of actors who starred in superhero movies and many of the supporting cast you can't even remember.
- the trailer park guy was fun. I don't know what Ellain was even trying to do by bringing up TUG. What does this supposed to tell to the jury who supposedly know nothing of it?
- Howell testimony was disappointing. But I did get an impression that they attempted to bribe her and then attacked her in some way, and if I am a juror I would probably form an opinion that AH is playing a dirty game. The fact that there was no substance here but she is still a witness would feel to me that she either was bribed or threatened and it worked. She also threw a shade on Whitney by stating she was trying to talk her out of a big mistake that she was committing to help AH, and then we don't see anything more on that? Suss in the framework of this case.
This was me trying to be unbbiased and imagine what I would think based on the testimony alone. But I am biased because I know what she previously testifieed to, and I can't unlearn it. So this could color my judgment here.
But I think that at the very least the takeaways here are
1) ah tried to bribe
2) Howell was very upset by something Whitney did for the sister (implied lying under oath)
3) Howell was attacked and very upset.
4) another person who never heard about JD being abusive, even though her relationship with WH is close enough for them to live together. One would think she'd have told Howell something.
I think this is damming for AH but not as much damage as it could have been.
- Children's hospital is just sad. At least ACLU got over a million, but CH didnt get almost nothing. Implies to me because they were not useful to Amber.
I really enjoyed reading your comment. It was very well thought out. Thank you so much for sharing your summary. I missed a great portion of testimony today as I had to take my 91 year old dad to the doctors.
Brandon routh played superman and has had pretty much nothing since.
Megan Fox would be a better comparison to Amber heard. She was the love interest \female lead in transformers. She did 2 movies in the franchise and then was replaced because she wasn't very good and was difficult to work with. Both are average at best actresses who got by more on looks than talent.
@@stevep2380 Yeah, well, I don't remember who of the lawtube said it, but these secondary female characters and love interests in movies are often hired purely for some sex appeal, to hang out in the background and look pretty. People may not like it but that's how it is. They are not expected to become a huge star just because they kiss Aquaman or something.
Thanks, interesting analysis. I was also trying to think of what I as a juror would take away from Jennifer Howell. I feel like it neutralises Whitney - I would except JD’s sister to be biased towards him (and I think she was, she definitely downplayed drug use). I suppose I would think the same about Whitney - except that it seemed that she actually lied instead of just slanting things.
@@emma_motema whitney is an unreliable witness. I can see how someone else think she is a strong witness, but to me she can be completely disregarded.
Justice For Johnny! ⚖
Richard Marks is so happy waiting to take the stand 😂❤
🙋♂️😢🤦♂️ @11:13:58 ~ I’m frustrated because my super chat was answered incorrectly. I’m not trying to be whiny or anything, but this lightning round sometimes is too quick to really pay attention to the question.
Amber‘s lawyers pointed out that Mr. Knight came out of the word work, yes. But Johnny’s attorneys never made it clear to the jury that Mr. Knight was a LAST MINUTE SURPRISE Witness that Amber didn’t know was coming so she didn’t have time to craft his testimony into her testimony. The only time it was pointed out that Mr. Knight only found out about this trial and was contacted was OUTSIDE the presence of the jury. As far as the jury knows Mr. Knight came forward BEFORE the trial ever started. So that was my question.
➡️ P.S. If anybody reads this comment I would appreciate if they liked it so that way maybe it’ll signal too Alyte and show up in her notifications, and maybe somebody on the panel will expand upon why Johnny’s lawyers didn’t do this or if there’s some rule against it. Obviously the super chat is extremely limited on how long it can be so I had to jam the text in there.
But like I said, I don’t want to be a whiny baby because I appreciate law tube and the entire panel very much. I just really got my hopes up on wanting to get this question answered. And I hundredpercent understand not answering a super chat that has been answered multiple times or is answered in the “asked and answered“ video. But this wasn’t one of them. This was the perfect question to be expounded on. It just seems like Rick misunderstood it, or maybe I could’ve phrased it better in the 150 characters I had. I don’t know.
🙏 😢 🙏 😢
That surprise witness today helped clear some things up I think. If I remember correctly the damages done to that trailer only cost the guy like $56 to repair.
Is it just me, or does AH get super annoyed when a witness is talking about JD in a positive way? Like her whole demeanor changes 🤔
I think she'd be super annoyed if someone was looking at a plant in a positive way rather than at her! Narcissistic bint that she is 😏
she seethes with envy, she is such a psychopath
Well of course, it's going against her claims
I started listening to your channel during the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard Trial. You give very insightful analyses from the lawyer's perspective. I am a data science engineer trained in applied statistics and software engineering. It appears that the statistical frequency of "objections" voiced against Amber's lawyers grossly outnumbers the objections raised against Depp's lawyers. In other words, this appears to be a major mismanagement of time for Amber's lawyers. As I understand it, they have used up time to the point where they may not have any time left to respond to Depp's remaining counter statements? If you count "objective" and "sustained" for both parties and plot it in a time trend then calculate a total sum, the ratio of Amber's team over Johnny's team would likely be far greater than 1. I am not a legal expert, but it seems like a major strategic blunder by Amber's team. With that said, I defer to due process for both parties and do not believe in "trial-by-media". As for data science of supporters, the statistics have already shown that the vast majority of comments on social media favor Johnny by far. The statistically rare and vocal supporters of Amber are immediately castigated online. Hopefully, the jury stays objective and does not bend to social media pressure regardless of who wins.
Can I say zero sum discussions and graph plots gets me a tad hot? 😉🤗
But objections do not count towards anyone's time, the panel have addressed this several times already. Amber's team is just not that good at managing their time here.
I was stationed in Hicksville, AL. during the school portion of my short military career. 😁
Heard’s team manipulated the court imo by. no doubt arguing to keep Jennifer Howells email out….Pretty sure I am aware of who might have had the biggest tizzy fit….so frustrating. Email is damaging to her side and it just wraps the trial up nicely for the jury to make the right decision.
I am interested in the TMZ copyright issue Amber definitely admitted it was on her iPad at one stage and then it Magically landed with TMZ.
How on Earth would Depp’s team not know that they needed to confront Whitney with JH testimony ? It’s mind blowing that they could let one of their team end that cross too early without getting what they needed, and no one sending her back to the podium with a massive post it note. I don’t recall anyone on the team looking surprised or panicked that the cross ended too soon either. I’m beyond gutted. They needed Howell to properly deal with Whitney. They didn’t even get to ask Whitney if amber ever hit her. Even rocky got asked that. She got off waaaaay too light
I think that’s because Whitney never finished her deposition ? But your right, I was so disappointed that so many things didn’t come into this trial. The public knows so much more than the jury. I’m happy Johnny got Justice. I am finally getting around to watching this trial without working as I missed so much. I find this fascinating. I wonder if that was a strategy with WH to keep those questions away.
Given the results of the trial, can you now understand why they didn’t go in on Whitney? No purpose, they established what was needed; that her allegiance will be to her sister. It’s expected that she’d lie by any means necessary.
-Depp went from 15h 51min to 10h 51min(5h used).
-Heard went from 04h 09min to 2h 54min (1h 15min used).
-Total hours used is 6h 15min (estimate, not official).
-Total hours remaining for both parties is 13h 45min as of day 21.
-Depp went from 18h 30min to 15h 51min (2h 39min used).
-Heard went from 08h 14min to 04h 09min (4h 6min used).
-Total hours used is 6h 45min.
-Total hours remaining for both parties is 20h as of day 20.
Post bong rip.....
Awesome joke about Elaine's fashion!
This guy's a legend!
Maybe they werent able to go into the staircase incident because it was all hearsay? Rottenborn's team just would have objected to everything.
I must admit the reporting of this trial by MSM has shocked me. I guess they are being risk averse. Should Johnny win I expect they will start addressing the reality of what the evidence says about the parties.
Wouldn't count on it
@@BinarySecond you're probably right, but one victory at a time. Let's hope for justice.
When you guys talk over the lawyers, we can’t hear you!
Watch another stream then lol. LegalBytes doesnt have an exclusive contract for streaming the trail
Barnes! Great!
During Jen Howells testimony it sounds like AH team is questioning her again because they are asking about Waldman , I can only guess that they were the ones "attacking" because it contradicts their witness testimony. Only my guess though
She was getting angry and talking about Richard A. Schwartz who is apparently Amber's lawyer.
@@19Rena96 Thank you! I didn't know who Richard was
I love the Arrested Development reference. 😂😂😂 Bob Loblaw.
Really enjoyed the Motion to Strike..🤓
I am 100% sure what AH claims JD did she did to him… “hide in the bathroom”, “threw a phone at them”. Remember how JD said he went into the bathroom and AH came banging on the door 👀
1:14:03 Whitney looks like the kid that told a lie and is not sure if the parent is gonna figure it out.
More like she just popped an Ambien
i noticed AH lawyers get away with objecting without saying on what grounds they object and JD's lawyers don't. Why is that?
So Jennifer and UmbrellaGuy are said to have had their homes broken into…coincidence? I think not. We already know AH plays dirty.
Nice to see people who disagree politically but can respect each other.
AH tested well with the audience right in the very beginning. Sounds like all her relationships. In the beginning there is all the fake charm blah, blah, blah, and then .......... boom, gone!
What happened with Jenifer Howell is such a bummer.
Best suit yet for JD.

Q scores guy really reminds me of Alan Ruck when he was in Speed. The nervous nerdy guy on the bus. I can't get him clutching his briefcase out of my head :D
The Howell testimony (or lack of specifically) was surprising and disturbing. SOMETHING happened that changed her mind to testify. Will we ever find out? It's very strange and could make a difference in Depp winning or losing this trial.
Nothing changed her mind, she was just objected to shit and not allowed to talk
@@malw6323 I didn't quite understand..at the end there she angrily complained about being "attacked" for 20 minutes by counsel. Was she referring to Depp's counsel or Heard's? I thought it was Depp's. Also, how can they object to direct rebuttal witness testimony?
@@malw6323 Even so, anyone who has the ability to read can look up her deposition of the UK Trial, so it doesn't really matter she didn't say anything in court since EVERYONE will know regardless.
@@martian-sunset @MartiAnd She was getting angry and talking about Richard A. Schwartz who is apparently Amber's lawyer.
@@19Rena96 the JURY cannot see the evidence in her affidavit where she shares it was Amber who attacked Depp on the stairs and that Whitney confided she feared Amber would 'kill Johnny'..nothing that wasn't said in the live today was entered to evidence
Depp's team went soft on cross w/ Whitney's lies bc they knew Howell would prove she was lying, so angry these sleazy people allowed to manipulate and perjure
Hoping to see all of JD's doodles during this trial in a flip through. :)
8:56:41 - "the footnotes"! It's not just in the law and accounting where the "bodies are buried" - it's in the literature of archaeology, art history & history too. Which leads me to believe that there are many more fields where students, practitioners and any other interested parties should look for both the substance and "tea". BTW, I had a prof who would on oral exams (it were an hour and a half long oral exams only, BTW) first ask 2-3 basic questions (to get a passing score to max 3/out of 5, like a C) and for every question beyond that the answer would be in the footnotes. Just so you know the importance of footnotes😉😊.
I fell asleep last night while listening to the Psych Doc. Came back in the morning to listen again.
Ellaine seems exceptionally polite to big company personal.
While I don't think they got a lot out of the Howells deposition directly, I do think it allowed them to enter her UK statements, her emails and letter to Whitney, the sus "donation" from Amber and Elon, her pleading for Whitney to just tell the truth and that little rant at the end against Amber's lawyers. Maybe they have a way to present Howells UK statements in court?
I loved seeing more women on the paneln♥️♥️♥️
Dr Shaw was great! Others too!
When they said mr. Knight I thought it was gonna be M. Night Shymalan the guy who directed avatar the last air bender live action lol
you really need to get some technician to handle the volume balance, its getting annoying after so many days of streaming
Hope the clear explanation about the UK case is brought up somehow
might the tmz guy be testifying to HOW they can own the copyright?
Called Johnny Depp, Mr Turd 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m so confused on Jen Howles testimony !
People change their tag names all the time. I don't think that means much and can easily be rebutted
I was thinking that but wasn’t sure if twitter changed since I used to use it
That’s exactly what happened.
