We dealt with this issue early in our relationship and found help by getting a referral to a physical/sex therapist that specialized in pelvic floor therapy. She was a joy to work with from the start despite our initial nervousness. The "fix" involved a very thorough initial exam and interview as a couple and various paths to a solution. We settled on a vaginal dilation kit and with her help, found the exercises to be both fun and satisfying at the same time. The entire experience improved our sexual relationship far beyond the issue of size as well. The best part was discovering that insurance covered the bulk of the costs involved.

I have suffered for years from scarring from circumcision at birth and recently had a scrotoplasty to remove webbing and so forth. The pain was severe when I had an erection and therefore I’m still a virgin at 49. The urologist said it would take me 2-3 months to recover. I pray the surgery went well.

The doctor said there was a 50 percent chance it wouldn't go well. He'd have to wait until 1 year old. Still, we opted out. You got that right! I'm around 9.5"x 7" and I can tell you it caused me a lot of "not with you" encounters when I was in high school. But....The girls' mothers were a different story! When I was at a girls' home the mothers would be doing the glance thing when they thought I was not looking, and would sometimes get hot and start breathing hard! Can't tell you how many times I would stop by and ask if the daughter was home, knowing full well she was not, and spent quite a few afternoons banging the momma!

I was shepherd by a slightly older hung cousin with girth from the time we were preteens and a year apart. He spoiled me for life. When initial orientation comes into play, size really does matter. Even if we are too long, know that we don't need to put it all in to enjoy ourselves. Any guy that is too long and actually cares for the girl won't push her beyond her limit, unless she wants him to. Personally so long as I can put about half in, I'm still happy.

I think calling out the 'width' of an erect penis is a bit misleading and difficult to gauge; 'width' to me seems more like the diameter and not the girth or circumference. If girth or circumference is 5.5", then the diameter would be the girth divided by pi. So 5.5"/pi = 1.75". Modeling an erect penis as a cylinder (and cross-section as a circle) seems reasonable and I think the diameter provides a better feel for how "wide" the phallus is.

I have had several partners and can say that it is definately a personal peference with women. Most were very happy with my size and a few found it painful if thrusted in too far. At 8" long and 6" circumference, I am larger than the average and most like my size.

* Women are different wrt. vaginal size and how it feels for them to be pressed on the cervix.
* Some women have a size kink.
* It is possible to be too small to have normal sex. (micropenises)
* Some women are just to .. shall we say ... voluptuous to be able to reach with a below average penis.
* And some like to put the penis ... ahem... in places where it's better that it's on the smaller side.
in my opinion size is only relative to her needs so compatability is absolutely essential if the guy going in her is like throwing a wet hotdog down the hallway it's not guna work and on the other hand if all she can handle because she's extremely narrow and the guys got a third leg not guna work either and there's everything in between couples that aren't compatible either hafta get way creative in other ways to compensate, or otherwise break up for someone that fits them otherwise either one, or both are left frustrated sexually 🤔

Hi Amanda, I think it's important to note that "width" is not the same measurement as "girth". Width is the diameter of something. Diameter would be the measurement straight across the penis. An example would be a penis that measures about 2.25 inches in diameter would be approximately 7.00 inches in circumference. Circumference is the measurement around the penis.
I tell people this: Measure your forearm where the diameter is about 2.25 inches and your actual circumference will be about 7.00 inches.

Dear fellow men, first of all you’re not crazy to question if “size matters” or not, because society has and continues to make it a cause for concern. The real question you should ask yourself however is “what if size does matter”? Let’s say, hypothetically speaking it’s become a fact that all women desire 10 inch penises, are you gonna give up on love, relationships or even life for that matter? If not, start working on the things that you actually can control.
