Great job!! I'm glad you're re-using and repurposing old Harley frames. You have a true gift for designing, machining, and welding.

You do some awesome work and the shop bike is going to look killer!! I sold my bagger and kept my twin cam softail .. thinking about having the frame raked so I can run a 19 over springer along with giving it a old school look.

It's great to have a frame jig. In the good ole days, we just eyeballed everything, arc-welded up everything and hoped for the best. The completed bike is gonna be a treat! Thanks!

VERY NICE, I ALWAYS LIKE TO HAVE THE SISSY BAR and FORKS AT SAME ANGLE FOR AESTHETICS. MAKES a HUGE DIFFERENCE , YOUR CALL of COURSE

Nice job. These old frames can be a battle trying to make them usable (and safe). I built a straight leg frame using an old engine cradle section. From what i learned on that experience I recently finished dry fitting a wishbone frame. It’s been a lot of work but I can stand back and say “I built that”. It’s a good feeling.

That's the best feeling you can have. Especially after a long trip and knowing everything you did got you through it. Thanks for watching

Back in the day a lot of shady work got covered up by Bondo. I'm with you you got to trust your welding because you're taking your life in your hands.

Great work dude! I'm in the process of restoring an old beat up Wishbone frame myself. It was raked out back in the day and I'll be bringing it back closer to stock rake, so seeing this was a nice bump in motivation.

How did you make the motor and tranny mounts for the chop
    Source jig?

Is the neck cast iron? Are you preheating it before you weld it up?

Old original HD frames are not made anymore. Don't chop them up. Buy or build a new frame.

    • @houseofchoppers

When they have already been necked and modified I don't have a problem cutting them up. If it's a stock neck with all the original hallmarks I won't touch It. This one already have enough 70s love in it so I made it my own,
