- The inner seal on the front axle of this dodge 3500 4x4 is leaking and it is a bit of an involved job to do! Me too, that axle nut on pass. side was super tight coming off the first time on an 02 3500. No mega torque impact either but a 5' cheater pipe made it happen~ barely! That Milwaukee impact Pete's using made that look too easy on the driver side.

I feel your pain... Started turning wrenches strait out of high school at 18 and just like you, pulling t cases and manual transmissions with the old shoulder jack or spending hours kneeling on concrete floors, never any pain. Now at 48 I'm walking at a 70 degree angle for the 1st 10 minutes of the morning, knees and shoulders always ache... but I still enjoy doing what I do and going to work, granted now its only 4 days a week and I'm usually working on toys while telling the young bucks to work harder on customers cars lol.

You’re a much better mechanic than me but you gotta use the impact gun, that’s what they’re for. Save your back and strength, put a new bolt on later you round it off

I would do the other seal while its apart as it will leak soon.
He'll no nb we use antisieze for lock tight.
