WINTER WONDERLAND GETAWAY TO CRATER LAKE, OREGON

My family needed some fun in the snow so we packed up the car and made a 350 mile drive from the SF Bay Area to Klamath Falls/Crater Lake NP in Oregon over the MLK Jr Holiday Weekend. The weather for the trip was absolutely perfect. We overnighted in a beautiful suite at the Running Y Ranch Resort in Klamath Falls where we got a small taste of snow. After a delicious breakfast downtown Klamath, we drove 50 miles north to Crater Lake where we enjoyed blue skies and winter wonderland with the beautiful lake providing a magical backdrop. The trip was quick but will leave us with a lasting memory.
