Cologne’s LGBTQIA+ community is inviting you to come and join this years ColognePride month from June 24 to July 9, 2023. In addition to countless political, cultural and party events, two elements will form the core of ColognePride, the biggest pride event in Germany: the CSD street festival across the city centre and the largest Christopher Street Day demonstration in Germany.
The Christopher Street Day street festival from 7th to 9th July is a colourful outdoor party featuring flamboyant performances, rousing speeches and panels as well as emotional highlights. Check out the official programme booklet for the three open-air stages - so that you do not miss international stars like Todrick Hall from Los Angeles performing live on sunday, 9th of July.
The demonstration march on sunday, 9th of July for diversity through the city center of Cologne is the highlight of the 3-day CSD street festival. At the same time Cologne is again hosting the largest demonstration in Europe: In 2022 a good 1.2 million guests experienced more than 180 foot groups and demonstration wagons - a record. But 2023 is expected to top that with more than 200 accredited marching groups and wagons!
Since 1991, ColognePride has advocated for the legal and social acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersexual and transgender individuals.
