You can download free software from a few sites and can find a range of options on a Google search. I recommend downloading one, setting it on an automatic timer and having a go at reading your script from the screen.
2) I think by A4 page of text Rachel meant a printed page of A4 paper populated with size 12 font. That looks very complicated the way I have written it, but I hope that makes sense!
