I may sound mental but I feel like I'm getting like "nostalgic tingles" from memories of previous videos where the same items have triggered me. Like, remembering first hearing/seeing these triggers in old videos and the situation and how I felt at the time. It's really cosy and comforting

That book with the crinkly plastic. Oh my god that's like heaven to my ears. It takes me back in time to when my grandmother and I would look through her scrap book with pictures of when I was much younger, and the way she would slowly flip through the pages and then point out details in the pictures.. Always sent me into a deeply relaxed state. I love those sounds, and this will definitely be a video I'll keep coming back to. This is now one of my favorite videos of yours

I finally have a day off after working four 10-hour shifts at an animal emergency hospital. I feel so sore and run down that I've gotten a bad cold. I turn on this video and it makes me feel like a kid again. Snuggled in my warm bed, on a cold pacific northwest day, with my mom coming in to give me snacks and hot apple cider to help me feel better. It's like home. Thank you for this video, Maria.

First ASMR experience: Buying fabrics from a woman who didn't really speak English, so she was quiet and just showing me things with her hands. Velvet, silk, raised patterns... I remember leaving the store being like, "WHY did that just make me feel so comforted?!" Wellbutrin had nothing on her. Wanted to go back- immediately- and ask for more fabric.. 10 years later, learning about ASMR, she instantly popped into my head
