A little dawless jam on the Digitakt.
No sequencer was used for this, instead it is just playing 8 unsynced loops of different lengths that ebb and swell around each other. This is all then playing into the Eventide Blackhole.
Used an old glockenspiel picked up from a charity shop along with some Spitfire libraries to play this one, including the beautiful Olafur Arnalds felt piano and violin evolutions, along with Roland's software version of the Juno 60.

I was one of the first users to buy Digitakt with what was then my best friend... And I admit that I didn't really understand its scheme... my way of making music was very, very different and I couldn't adapt to it and I sold it...
now after all this time, I don't have digitakt, but I ended up with an Octatrack (OMG)....🤯
During these years, have learned a lot from different and new approaches and clearly I see the value of the digitakt concept when used with ingenuity and creativity as I always see in your videos.
thank you very much for sharing them... a pleasure to watch and listen to them.
I love iiiit

Lovely, thanks for sharing. I do feel sorry for the plant though 💧
haha! yeah Im not the best at keeping my plants alive!! 🌱🌱💀💀😢😢
I had the Digitakt twice and each time I returned it because it was very difficult to get the clean loops without "clicking" due to the lack of a crossfader. Have recent updates fixed this issue? I can't find the answer to this question. Thank you and well done!
Hi there, thanks for the listen! yeah unfortunately this hasn’t been addressed in the updates yet (I wish they would!)
I usually run it through Izotope’s de-click before mastering 🙂
@@thegreyspace so forêt you create the loop on the computer and izotope and then play it in the Digitakt after ?
@@somethingintheuniverse760 usually create the loops on the Digitakt, perform the song through any hardware (clicks and all!) and then run it through the de-click right at the end when I master the song (usually with Izotope’s Ozone). Hope that helps! 🙂
