In this clip, Hurricane Chris spoke about being arrested after shooting a man in 2020, and he revealed that the officers turned the heat all the way up, causing him to have a panic attack so severe that an ambulance was called. Vlad then addressed police saying that Chris didn’t act in self-defense in the incident, which led to him being charged with second-degree murder and possession of stolen items. Chris explained that after being charged, he thought that “life wasn’t real” because he was raised to do the right thing and you’ll be okay.

This brother has really impressed me… with his reasoning and maturity during and after this trial. I’ve heard from a mutual friend that he was a smart & good dude.
This situation gave him a real life look into how the "justice" system really works. There's a bunch of people who don't give a damn about you or who you are, looking to make a career come up off of villifying you for their own benefit. It's not about you or the victim. It's about a conviction to help them get a career advancement.
EXACTLY , because in a case like this , Yes the police on scene are the first to discern whether its self defense or not, but it's ultimately up to the DA/prosecutor....And These DA/prosecutors will try to make a name for themselves especially during election time...OH and don't let it be one of those Pro-Gun Control prosecutors which in Shreveport the Caddo Parrish DA is......the police could let you go on scene and then the DA run charges on you later.... that's what happened in my Self Defense case.... 3 men broke into my home...2 months later i was indicted for excessive use of a firearm, second degreee murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.... Self defense Laws are so Frail... and the Justice System is so internally crooked ... you are 100% Correct in everything you said

In 2020 I got charged with 1st degree murder and an attempted murder, for a case where 6 niggas ran up on me while I had my 2 toddlers, and tried to kill me. The first cops on the scene said witnesses told them it was self defense on my part. Then for whatever reason, the sheriff decided to charge me, anyway. I sat in the interrogation room for HOURS, and the Sheriff refused to tell me what I was charged with, until I agreed to talk to him without a lawyer (ai didn't). Then during my case, the prosecutors said they found it "suspicious" that I didn't have a lengthy criminal history, and implied I gave them a false identity. Then the reason they said it was a 1st degree murder, was cause I "wasn't in fear of my life" and I literally took 2 STEPS away, then turned around and stood my group. But the reason I did that was because I was originally gonna try to walk my kids to the car to safety, and then I realized turning my back on 6 people and having my hands full, holding my kids, wasn't a viable option, so I defended myself.
I ended up beating the case in 2022, but the lengths they'll go to convict and innocent person for their own record and personal gainz is fuckin NUTS

I am calling for the release of Marquis Thomas, my brother. He is in Pennsylvania state prison and has been convicted and sentenced to life in October 2021 for a crime he did not commit. His ex girlfriend lied on him and we even have paperwork saying it was his ex girlfriends father who abused the kids. We have transcripts saying the grandfather did this. Marquis and our lawyer have the paperwork but the DA said they don’t care. Please help my family. He’s innocent and is being racially profiled in Montgomery county. He has no record, no history and no motive. This could be the biggest case in the United States if it gets out. We also have autopsy reports and records indicating this was not a homicide. During trial the autopsy person said the child’s death was due to cpr. We also have assumption and hearsay in this case. Which is wrong. Hearsay was thrown out in Pennsylvania in July 2020. His ex coached her son to lie on my brother. Also the jury was deadlocked on first degree murder. We overheard the judge tell someone that they need first degree. He also told the jury to go for a walk after a few jurors passed out and could not decide. He then told them to deliberate on third degree murder since they are hung on first but 30 minutes later they came back with first degree. They set my brother up. He is innocent sitting in prison for a crime he did not do. Please help us

Mannn I understand that shit.. I got arrested one time in the Middle of July in 2013.. I was in cuffs in the back seat and I was so fucking hot I asked the Police can they sit me on the curb till we go to the jail or can we hurry up and go.. I told the officer I'm bout to faint and have a panic attack in that backseat I was so hot.. They ain't think I was serious.. I asked could they Open the lil window separating the front and back seat and they eventually said yea and I jumped up to put my head in there and they looked at each other like damn he was serious.. I thought I was gon die in that back seat.. They ended finding a gun and the cop tried to lecture me talking about you running around with guns imagine getting shot and not being able to breathe.. In my head I'm like I carry guns to prevent that but Mann that backseat was scary.. Know it's bad anytime I ask to hurry up and take me to jail so I can get out this damn car.. Crazy thing is they couldn't charge me with the gun cus it wasn't on my person but they initially charged me with a misdemeanor but when we got to the jail they said They charging me with Felony Possession of a scheduled 2 controlled substance over a prescription that I MYSELF got out of the Pharmacy and was Able to Prove that before they took me to jail.. They STILL charged me, had me go through that shit in the backseat and I had to fight that case for 10 months.. They (No-Prossessed) however you spell it, then Indicted me 3 Months later on a misdemeanor like they originally did.. Just to Non Prossess it again 😏.. The C.O said she Never seen someone get an Indictment on a misdemeanor charge and I must be fucking the Mayor daughter or sumn LMAO I probably was back then 😂😂😂 All in All.. That Backseat Scarred me for life.. It's hell being that Hot with Handcuffs on dawg 🙄
